 got my 2 miners for july delivery in hand!!! now i just gotta wait until those newer power supplies arrive, im glad that it's no longer necessary to rewire anything! hopefully mine are shipping out as close to july 20th as possible!!! wish they sent them early like they did with the rigs, would've helped immensly

First of my miners for July shipment has arrived!!! i ordered on separate days to avoid any possible import duties!!! im going to go buy a cpl of 1500V 865W APC PSU's to try to insulate them from low voltages and thunder strikes its about to go down!!! Lucky guy and smart to send it in different shippings. But not practical with a lot of them  Imagine you need to drive to customs 300 times u dropped 450k on miners ssshhhiiiiiiitttt!!!!!!! ur my frackin hero!! |

does anyone use a ups for their L3's and if so which would you recommend for the L3+'s??? im not trying to have my unit brick due to an electrical storm!!! any ideas? edit: was smoking at the time and put psu instead of ups  |

im just amped af that the July batch is almost out and I ordered those new power supplies so that I can run them without changing over to 220V!!!!! ordered another for end of September delivery and might even buy another one while this LTC is so cheap!!!! only regret is selling my hashnest contract those things are commanding a pretty penny right now!!!! |

So i have had some maths here for l3+ with the diff at : 287k 504mh/s miner mine 26,42 ltc which is 750 dolar atm and decreasing nearly 50 dolar with avarage %10 added difficulty... ( LTC STAYS AT 30 Dollars)
with that calculation Roi seems to turn back at 6 months (3600 Dollar Bach)
The teory rules are;
1- Difficulty UP %10 Per Month : (287k-310k-341k-375k-413k-454k) depends on miners ... (want to take train before agust and sept bach doesnt send )
2- Mined LTC Goes Down Per Month (26,42-24,4-22,25-20,23-18,38-16,72 Avarage 120 LTC) depends on diff.
3- LTC Prize Fixed To 30 Dollars Within These 6 Months... If its go up it makes roi day much more early
Electricty fee maintance pps share hold : 0,07 Dollars + %4,5 etc...
So What i am missing here ? Why This Kind Of Cloud Minning So Bad For Us... OR IT IS ?
The backlog of July 3 batches of bitmain L3+'s 505mh in July Most of assume a 100% plus diff rise when they splash into the pool. Not To mention bitmain could add to their own data halls and hashnet on top of That. Just saying my 1 tag along unit I'm getting L3+ I'm assuming if lucky an 11 month roi. Hope you are right thou. But how I see it Makes me wish I had bought more @ 1860USD last month..... 120% profit in 30 days (sold contract)...id say go for it even @ double the price. |

quick question: Will i recieve free bytes for GBYTES stored in my mobile wallet on June 9th if i havent linked a btc address??
is anyone concerned that the top address linked for redemption is probably an exchange?? will that dump the price after the distribution??

Also with the recent btc bull its hard to lock up funds in advance. Total disaster would be if btc really spikes, LTC lags and bitmain saturates the market with L3s, too much unknown. 2 months is a long time in crypto
kind of with you on this, but gotta get it while the getting is good. still can mine other coins or mine n hold till LTC = $100 USD. still wanna shout out the dude who mentioned the hashnest contract mining early in May. bought for 77 per contract, averaged 1.1 LTC/day profit and sold the contract at around 139 LTC (.266 LTH/MH) thats about 90 LTC profit in less than a month on that so good looks my man!!! pro move is going to be waiting for the LTC price to go up and then buy back more hash cheaper or just cop a cpl more rigs and call it a day still got my 2 coming in the july shipment, but if the price dropped by half in terms of BTC, what is everyone worried about, seems like a killer deal to me. just mine and dont sell till the price is where u want it, the more people mining n holding wouldnt make the price go up cuz of lack of supply?? |

What you guys seeing for HW errors I'm, seeing about 60 and 70 on boards 1 and 3 after 24 hrs. Boards and 2 and 4 only have a few HW errors.
After a few days of testing, I went ahead an updated the firmware. I know only the remote disable feature was disabled, but I did do a power cycle down for ~10 sec and restarted. My chain 1 and 3 show 19 and 16 HW errors and the other chains are at zero after 24hrs. The rate and number of HWs as lowered. Not sure if it's just variance, power cycle, or more burn in that's giving me these numbers. I am going to to take Longsnowsm's advice and crank the fans up to %75, then send it to a data center. That tunnel sound!!! can you please elaborate on these data centers you speak of. i would MUCH rathter have my rigs hosted at a reputable site and pay fees than have to deal with the noise/heat from them in my own apartment. if u happen to know of any in the new england area that would b even better  |

I want to buy newest miner, newest miner is l3+, but newest miner only ship in 3 months?
Is this correct?
Can I buy the normal l3 still ?
July batch is avail still on the bimain site www.bitmain.combut be aware difficulty is going up big time due to bitmain kicking out units like toasters..thus use a calc like www.litecoinpool.org/calc (free pool no fee pays at 103% and the 3% is included in the calc...but gives you a ballpark figure) So anyway difficulty has gone up 100% on LTC in last month.thus any static machine in the barn you own is now making 1/2 the coin now vs 1 month ago. The above calculator DOES NOT have difficulty increases...so be aware to add your best 'guess' of what this may be worse case scenario ..by the time you got a July miner at the end of that month if price of LTC goes to 50 bucks you are golden...if it goes back down to 15 bucks maybe not so much bitmain also offers hashnet and for 1850 vs buying a miner for 1300 in july at the end of the line ..will turn it on for you in 3 days max...but you are paying like 860 for the privilege of beating difficulty by 2 months plus and still pay a fee/elec/rent/etc to bitmain for this cloud hosting anyway that is the bet you are making ....to be truth if you are just counting on a price pump in LTC you are probably better of just guying LTC imho others can chime in here....on here.....with better advice then me  brad Thanks so much for posting that!!!! bought a contract off hashnest and while i was debating whether or not to drop 77 more LTC on another L3+ contract they sold out!!!! so far so good but only time will tell |

After reading the above posts referencing people having 4 miners...im feeling like the 2 that I ordered wont cut mustard once everybody gets theirs and the diff adjusts
did u guys supply your SSID or FEIN numbers when ordering or did you order 4 separate units, they state that for US customers u need to give one or the other for what seems like ordering any more than 2 at once.
i am also new to *asic* mining but have experience growing medicinal herbs so i can understand having 4000w heaters in a room and how that can get interesting temp wise.
I also have a mech eng degree, GPU mined in 2013 and my first computer was a TANDY so im not totally unfamilar, but def outta practice.
Id be more than willing to contribute and learn how to successfully mine with the L3+'s with you guys.
we do have 3 months.

Should I be concerned?
Yesterday I received my L3+, it seemed to work stable at ~504MH/s. This morning I realized a reduced hashrate, looking at the "Miner Status" reveals, that one blade is not hashing, all ASICs were marked with X.
Luckily a reboot seemed to solve this issue, lets hope it will not happen again...
Are any of the boards showing hardware errors? Keep an eye on the HW errors and watch to see if they are escalating. It is not a good sign when the miner starts to drop boards.  You are right and I whish I could have tested the miner longer. But when my wife went into the Garage today she came back to me and "kindly" asked me to "reduce that noise". Being afraid that she would take care of it I decided to send it to my hosting center today, so I have to wait a few days before I can continue testing... Is l3+ really so noisy? Im going to have it in my basement, waiting for May batch. Much louder than the L3, but less than A4 or Antminer S9. But unfortunately too loud for my wife having it in the garage. Well, I have to admit that our neighours have their garden right next to it and we don't want trouble with them This wasn't a problem for me, I already planned to send it to Hosting because my energy price is far too high (approx 0.3/USD per kWh). might i ask which hosting center? |

Is an ATX 1600W as I mentioned in a previous post better than the option direct from Bitmain APW3+-12-1600W,PSU : https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020160905064759862LCcn24oJ0685because apparently I also ordered one of those and it arrived today via fedex. Im starting to regret only buying one unit, the only thing that kept me from dropping more coin was FUD i was hearing on the boards..... now they are sold out Also, how long are you guys assuming these will be profitable, assuming like $0.14 kW/h?? Thanks for taking time to respond to my posts i hope i can mine only LTC and not have to pimp my rig out cuz of low hash rate. |

just sent payment for one of those july 15 delivery L3's. bout to order a 100/220v step up transformer for like 60 bucks at bh photo video online store. really hoping this beast gets here unscathed!!! all the fud kept me from ordering more than one...but at like 1.5 btc for everything i mean how could i not. any advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated. no rush since i got like 90 days beofre it gets here IF they decide to ship it to me I tried one of these step up converters at home when the Antminer S7 first came out. I would run it for a number of hours and eventually it would trip the 20A breaker in circuit panel. I ran the same s7's using ATX power supplies and never had one problem with breakers. Decided it might not be safe to use and gave up on it Thanks... sorry for not responding sooner, i know im hella noob!! Really wanna make sure i set everything up right. I believe in crypto but got burned back in life happened in 2015 and sold my gpu setup. have been buying slowly since but feel that crypto has enough exposure to where investing in it to secure the network seems better for crypto/my roi than just buying BTC to trade. Im a mechanincal engineer by trade and greater than average computer skills and electrical understanding. I looked up the ATX Hercules 1600W....Do you think this would work? probably going to have an electrician hook up something close to the breaker box so that I can run everything. I look forward to being a contributing member to community and hopefully will meet some interesting and knowledgeable people in the process. Nice to meet everyone!!! |
