The following timings can be set in the GUI.

RCAb, RCPb, RPAb, and RPPb.

They also show up using the cli

amdmemtweak --current

How can you set them using the CLI?

I have a question regarding the voltage options in a mixed rig.

I have a rig with nvidia and amd cards.

"-cvddc   set target GPU core voltage, multiplied by 1000. For example, "-cvddc 1050" means 1.05V. You can also specify values for every card, for example "-cvddc 900,950,1000,970". Supports latest AMD 4xx cards only in Windows.
Note: for NVIDIA cards this option is not supported.

-mvddc   set target GPU memory voltage, multiplied by 1000. For example, "-mvddc 1050" means 1.05V. You can also specify values for every card, for example "-mvddc 900,950,1000,970". Supports latest AMD 4xx cards only in Windows.
Note: for NVIDIA cards this option is not supported."

So, I understand I cannot use -cvddc and -mvddc for voltage control on the nvidia cards, but is there a way to use them on my AMD cards without running 2 instances of the miner?  (I use MSI Afterburner to control the power on the Nvidia cards)

Thanks in advance

Claymore crashed today for my all 3GB GTX1060s on Win 10. At #184 Epoch DAG fails. Has anyone got a problem with their 3GB cards?
Yeah, only if a search function existed.

Not exactly though.  If his problem is similar to mine, the search function helped defeat this issue previous and now it is back.

I have this issue as well again today

At least know the root cause, so you could get permanent solution

Your searched results and chosen thread might be different from him, better if you could post what are actions that were already done

these are the results of my search function regarding your problem

I am using Windows 10.  Previously using Claymore's latest miner 11.6 and the flag -eres 0 worked for fixing this.  I have tried updating to 11.7 with -eres 0 and it does not solve the issue any longer.

yeah something just happppen with my Miner im in the SuprNova pool
and it was getting alot of lag MS then just fell off and went to there
web page and nothing thats only if you try and get threw there BTG pool page
but if you try Zcash Zec Dec ect... page its working i don't get it

Nova on their Twitter page said that btg told them their pool is on wrong chain so all mining work was useless.
 https://twitter.com/SuprnovaPools/status/929958628584493056

Ouch ... Dem feels  Tongue

Don't believe the lies, that person is full of s*it
Is there someone who's mining on pool.gold?

I mined last night with all my rigs.
There is no transaction and no balance right now.
pool.gold is scam and theif. They stole my 0.8~ BTG.

Dont use them.

I am was mining with them and gues what? Nothing. I did not received a bit of btg...

They're paying everyone back - Check their twitter.

I did check the twitter, but the proof is in the pudding.

They supposedly moved to the right blockchain hours ago, but BALANCE and PAID on their website STILL show zero.   Even if they were going to reimburse for the time spent on the wrong chain, their site should be showing pending balances now.

Was wondering if someone could help me out with 2 strange problems.  (Using Claymore 10.0 but the same issue has carried over through 9.5 and 9.7)

1.  No matter what my config.txt file is, the miner reports it has trouble parsing line #14.

I have rearranged the lines in the file, added lines, even comment out all the flags.  Same parsing error.

2.  The clock I set for core and memory do not "take" until it is run a second time after reboot.  If I reboot my system, and then run Claymore's miner, it will mine at its original clock rates, not those I have specified in the config.txt file.  Upon the 2nd run after reboot (and all subsequent runs) it does run with the correct clocks.

In a mixed rig (AMD and NVidia) how does one use the mem and core clock and volt flags.

Namely since it is not supported for Nvidia, how do you specify the values for the AMD cards?  Can any value be used in the Nvidia spots and be ignored?  Can one not use the flags in this situation?

As stated in the README, the overclocking and voltage parameters aren't supported for Nvidia cards. If you want to mix cards on the same rig you can set the clocks using Afterburner or any overclocking tool before running the miner.

They are not supported for NVidia cards, but they also support a card by card setup.  Therefore can you setup only the AMD cards, leaving the Nvidia cards as they are?

Afterburner will not set the voltages.

So, I have 7 RX480 cards and am running into the same problem.

If I put 5 of them in my system, and enable 4G decoding it works great.

Once I add the 6th I can boot with 4G decoding disabled.  (Of course then only 3 cards work and 3 have Error 12 - no resources)

Trying to enable 4G decoding with 6 cards will not boot from BIOS.   It will attempt to boot twice and on the 3rd attempt will display "Preparing Automatic Repair" and then...black screen.

Any pointer how you all were able to make this work with RX480s?

System

MSI Z170a Pro Carbon
6 RX480s (8G)   (7th available)
Windows 10 Pro, 64bit
driver 17.4.4

By chance when all 7 GPUs are hooked up can you go into bios and under board explore see all 7 pcie slots connected?

I connected 6 of the up and all 6 are properly seen in BIOS.  The system would not boot with 6 however.
So you make sure you are booting into computer and you see all 6 cards? Turn off auto driver updates and windows updates. Use DDU In safe mode, restart, Manual direct each card in device manager to the driver and install. reboot with 4g enabled. and peg 0 and 1 are gen 2. You have 7 cards right? Is the 7th card seen in bios?

Yes, I boot into Windows and I see all 6 cards (with 4g disabled).  I manually direct each card to the driver.   Upon reboot I can see all 6 cards in the BIOS explorer.  From here I have 2 options.

1.  Enable 4G decoding which causes 2 aborted booting attempts with a third stating "Preparing Automatic Repair" and ending in a black screen.
2.  Leave 4G disabled which allows me to boot into Windows with 3 cards working and 3 without sufficient resources.

Or, I can remove one riser, and boot with 4G enabled and have 5 working cards.

I do have a 7th card, but unless it is an important diagnostic step, want to get 6 cards working first.  The 7th is new in box and can still be returned if needed.

Newbie here.  Any help appreciated.

Setting up my rig.  This worked yesterday for a 36 hour run

      - MSI Z170A Gaming M7
      - 1x Sapphire Nitro (no plus) 8G RX480  (rookie mistake slower memory)
      - 1x Asus Dual RX 480 8G
          BOTH GPUs mounted on mobo
      - windows 7 64bit
      - Claymore v 9.3
      - crimson v 17.4.3
      - firewall off

My config:

-epool USEast.Alpereum.ch:3002
-ewal (xxxxx)
-epsw x
-mode 1
-ethi 16
-tt 85
-asm 0
-wd 2
-benchmark
-fanmin 70

Ran great.  Just going for stability, not speed yet.  Both cards hashed around 24-25Mh/s

------------
Today the risers arrived. (MintCell v006)

Moved the the ASUS DUAL card to the riser.  Added a second ASUS DUAL card with riser.  Sapphire remained on mobo in PCIe slot.

Started Claymore.  All cards hashing about 24-25Mh/s

After 3 minutes of mining ATI driver crash.  One mining card stops mining.

Reboot.  Same behavior.

---------
Read the forums.  Tried to back off to the suggested v15.2 driver, but it would not run with my RX 480.  Settled on driver 16.11.5

Same behavior.

----------

Ran the rig with the Sapphire mounted in case and only 1 ASUS on riser.   This was stable.

-----------

Any ideas?  I have swapped risers to no avail.  I can run 2 cards stable, but adding the third causes a crash a few minutes into mining.

At the time of the crashes no cards are running super hot.  (60-70 C)

Thanks

To reduce variables I placed the two ASUS cards in the PCI-e slots on the mobo.  Tested it and had no problems.  This ruled out any bad cards.

Placed the cards BOTH on risers (no card on the mobo directly) and it failed within a few minutes of load.   Bad risers.

Anyone have a suggestion on good quality risers?
