right now they are falling very hard, hope you dont too much to worry, i ve got out few days ago with tremendous loose, but it is still good move.Alts didnt make a great rising but they are still falling like they have seen something.
I bought $2K ETH at $429 couple weeks ago. Been watching my value drop ever since Buy more now It crossed my mind. I actually could. I just sold off most of my mining GPUs. It would be a tough waiting though if the market tanked for a year or more.

I'm still needing this original RX 570 8GB Nitro+ Hynix bios.
If anyone can get it and post it that would be great.
Thanks

I've seen it asked many times but not an answer.
Why does my Geth chaindata folder reach a certain point and then lose data and re-sync, lose data, re-sync, etc., etc...?
It never get's fully synced. Last time I tried it was over a month and it did not sync 100%.

My WiFi system sometimes just doesn't connect to the network when the system is restarted until I unplug the WiFi adapter and reconnect it.
That's why I'm wanting a hardwired connection.

A cheap $20-30 8 port gigabit switch is dead simple to setup. Just connect one port to your WiFi router and you now have 7 gigabit ports to use for expansion or to get that rig off WiFi. You are introducing unnecessary latency between that rig and the pool which can and does affect the shares that are able to be submitted.
Which way is introducing unnecessary latency?

I'm running out of ethernet ports on my router and don't want to use WiFi.
One rig is on WiFi and loses connectivity sometimes.
Please recommend.

Okay thanks. I just found my settings.
2200 mem 1340 core 950mV in bios (both mem&core) 30.6 Mh/s ~101W in HWInfo GPU Chip Power 0 Mem errors so far
And which program are you using? Well funny thing is I was using Claymore v10.0, but someone told be about PheonixMiner 2.8c and now I get 31.1Mh/s. I redid the settings 1750 straps 1150MHz core 875 mV 2200MHz mem 900mV HWInfo64 GPU Power = 89W Kill-A-Watt Meter = 171W - 50W (tested system consumption) = 121W GPU Power draw 29-30 Mh/s

I would like to request a copy of the original bios for this card. Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 570 8GB 100412NT+8GL (Hynix Memory) My original bios got corrupt (the .rom image I had stored), so I need a new one. Also had flashed both bios on the card. I do have for anyone interested a working bios that is getting me 30.6 Mh/s using 100W with zero mem errors. Settings used: (all settings are in bios, so just install and enjoy ) 1750 straps 2200 mem 1340 core 950mV core and mem in bios 30.6 Mh/s in Claymore v10.0 Here is the bios - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NplV6ZVaSSP6U5shRNITl... I've also found that ATIWinFlash does not work on the newest Windows 10. So, I had to install a Windows 10 from May '17 and use ATIWinFlash.

Also, do you mod voltage in bios? If so, what do you use? I ran 950mV for a few months both core and mem.

Maybe you need to add one other thing: I would like lowest power consumption with highest hashrate and less heat. (I want it) My RX rig running at 29.xx - 30 (2100-1360). I more prepare for stability. I'm not sure what you are saying. I think you are saying my want for less heat is not realistic? And that I should aim for stability more than anything?

Playing with clock speeds.
RX 570 8GB Nitro+ Hynix 1750 straps 2200MHz mem 0 mem errors 1400MHz core = 29.9 Mh/s 1340MHz core = 29.5 Mh/s 1250MHz core = 28.8 Mh/s 1150MHz core = 26.9 Mh/s
Of course lower clock speeds means less power consumption and less heat.
I don't remember core clocks having that much affect on my RX 470/480 last year.
What do you/would you run your cards at in your house?
I have 6x Nitro+ cards on a 1200W PRIME Gold PSU.
I would like lowest power consumption with highest hashrate.

I actually need a tru original bios for this card.
I realized mine are all 129KB.

howerver, i can't switch the silent bios on 2 of my cards, does it mean the rom is corrupted on this part ? is it possible to re-flash a corrupted bios ? i can't boot on this bios because the pc is freezing on startup...
thanks for your help
I'm having this same issue. Booting Windows in safe mode and removing the driver allows me to boot Windows again. But anytime I flash bios and install driver it will hang up agian. Hoping to find a solution.

What distro can I use to mine Zcash or other alt-coins with Nvidia?
|
|
|
In March-April 2017 I bought an RX 470 on sale for $143. I also bought 2x RX 480 on sale for $169 ea. In December 2017 I bought an RX 580 8GB Nitro+ for $279 and a couple weeks ago bought one for $369.
Early last year a 6x GPU mining rig could be built for ~$1200. Now that will get you 3x GPUs and the rest of the stuff.
Prices do suck right now. If only RX Vega was still $399 and $499 :/

OP here, So I've been having issues with my Nvidia rig, GPUs quit working.
So instead of ordering a new GPU I ordered a new motherboard, SSD, and power supply.
2x GTX 1080 Ti SC2 2x GTX 1070 Ti Mini 1x GTX 1070 SC 1x EVGA 850 B2 1x EVGA 750 B2 ASUS H170 Pro Gaming 320GB HDD Windows 10 Latest Nvidia Driver
No matter which mining program I use it will mine for 1-2 days before 1 or more GPUs give an error in the mining program and also in device manager.
So I've ordered a different motherboard which I have a mining bios from the manufacturer (GA-Z270XP-SLI with F9A mining bios from Gigabyte tech support). Also ordered an SSD (because the HDD is a headache waiting on it to boot.) Also ordered Corsair HX1200i new and on sale.
So hopefully I'll be able to use a single power supply and see if I can get rid of the issue I'm having.
My 7x AMD GPU rig has zero issues on the GA-Z270XP-SLI and a single SeaSonic PRIME 1200W Gold.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I still have coin I can sell to get a new GPU, but I'd rather keep the coin and the gains if their price increases.

Yeah I'm wondering about the GTX 1180/2080 in July. I wonder if it will be any better for mining. But even then I'd have to wait longer for the aftermarket models to become available.
