Hey guys. I have not been on here in a while since I did a ton of work for bounties and the market crashed a few years back. I lost basically everything and had to sell at the losses to get by. Scam bounties with no payment that are the result of scam ICOs
Bounties that are supposed to be 3 months but end up lasting 6+ months
Bounties that have managers who suck and don't do a proper job
Bounties that stop their campaigns due to "blah blah blah" after we work for 2+ months promoting them
etc etc etc
I mean seriously......do we need to create a bounty hunter union and put an end to this shit?

This has never happened to me before and I can't figure out the issue. Please help if you know what could be the problem. I have been trying to simply transfer tokens from my MEW account to my FD/ED wallets so I can do some trades but I keep getting the same errors over and over. Bounties need to be calculated differently for the moment to reflect the current market. We shouldn't keep seeing bounty threads like:
- $500k up for grabs - 500 eth available for bounty
- Over $2 million usd for bounty - 2000 eth set aside for bounty payments
Etc etc ...
If you want to advertise those types of USD payouts, make sure the eth amounts to back it is correct. As of right now bounty hunters are getting absolutely destroyed and the least that can be done is for campaigns to pay the correct amount of eth to back up their payout claims.

Well it looks like more great news for all of us (rolls eyes)... In a new, unconfirmed report, Twitter will ban all crypto related ads in 2 weeks. This coming on the wake of Facebook banning crypto related ads. This is going to absolutely tear the market to shreds even more than it is now. What a shame. I hope all this shit will eventually be reversed because if this is a sign of things to come, we might end up with the blockchain, but without new cryptocurrencies/ICOs. I hate all the scams going around but some of these moves are over the top. This type of thing by Google may be too much for this infant industry to handle. This really sucks. So these scumbags have removed all their images from their threads and have deleted their social media accounts over the last few days. I was one of the people that wore their signature and helped boost their awareness through social media. At least I can say I didn't lose actual money this time, but I guess if you look at the time I wore their sig and promoted their social media pages, I did lose money..and time...and energy. Anyways, this thread is just a heads up for those that don't know and to keep people away from this scam so they don't lose any money, time, or energy. Sorry to all the people that got scammed. I mean seriously wtf. I saw this dude's shitposting in about 20 threads before finally reporting the crap to the mods. I have never reported anything, but this is just disgusting. I have been on these forums a lot and I have yet to see anything like this...hopefully his account will be banned soon and the scam spamming can stop. Made this thread as a heads up to people that can get his/her account shut down asap and save some people from losing money as well as the forum from more trash it doesn't need. |

Please just hear me out for a minute. I have been a member here since October 23rd of last year. When I started off in this forum it was unlike any other forum experience for me. I am in my mid 30s and have belonged to many communities and forums in the past, most of which I had an advantage from the start due to my extensive knowledge in those areas (gaming/ATS/digital point/etc..).
Some Important Points:
- Now here I was happy to be a newbie, asking questions, learning how crypto and the blockchain works, how to earn money from crypto and all that jazz. I asked many questions and was offered some great help. Even if I could have given merit at that point it would have been barely nothing because of the way the system is set up. The people that benefit the most from helpful posts and threads are those with the least amount of merit to give as a thank you - this in itself is totally assbackwards.
- So the people who can give out merit are the ones that don't really need it in the first place. The system makes Full Member and up basically GODS in the forum since they can boost your rank. Terrible, terrible setup.
- You do realize that people with many accounts (which tons of people do have since it only took age of account and some simple posts to get to FULL member before this system) are just swapping merit with each other and creating an even bigger gap between normal, hard working people, and those that are just profiting from a rigged system?
- I help many people on here now and so do many others, with every chance we get. Look at my post history - aside from my bounty recordings, I mainly post VERY helpful content. I even go out of my way to make helpful threads - either as guides for people - or as warnings of scams etc.
Now I am not crying about hardly EVER receiving any merit, I just want to vent and let the community know that the system is not working as intended. The rich are getting richer so to speak, swapping merit, selling it to people that can afford it, and boosting up each others alt accounts quite easily - and also many are at points just from the date they signed up that the merit doesn't even matter to them aside from being able to help out their friends and/or boost other accounts.
At this point just with activity I would be a MEMBER on my way to FULL. But, as it stands, I am getting screwed here as are many others.
I hope the mods and devs realize that this new system promotes shadiness in many forms:
- Force people to buy accounts and sell them (highly frowned upon in this community although legal to do)
- Only people that have a lot of money can do the above - separating even further the hardworking person from those with money
- Demoralizes people from posting quality content because now with this system they expect to be rewarded, see others rewarded for less, and become bitter
- People not only buying and selling accounts but straight up "merit" - have a look around on the web it is there plain to see (and this is not OK to do)
- Overload of "merit" posts forming spam in the meta section and others
- etc etc etc
So here is my suggestion:
Remove this terrible system and try again. Go look at some other large forums (ATS) and see how over the MANY years they have been around, they perfected the system you are trying to create. Maybe create a hybrid from what is tried and true with some new unique flavor and see how it works.
BUT - AND THIS IS HUGE - DO NOT SETTLE FOR SOMETHING WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY BROKEN AND NOT WORKING AS INTENDED!
I mean seriously...scrap it and retry until you get it right. You think that Ford would have continued with metal tires after he thought it was a great idea and then realized it was terrible? You think the Wright Brothers would have continued to use real bird feathers for their planes after one of them was paralyzed? I mean seriously. Accept the loss, re-create and move ahead. This is how great things happen. You try and you fix until you succeed!

So the otho.network team executed a pretty good scam. Those of us in the project from the beginning have now been banned from their telegram and forums for outing this scam. We found out the sad news last night and over the course of today. I hope many of you didn't lose any money, for those of you that did I feel your pain and quite a few others as well. This thread will hopefully prevent anyone else from being screwed over by these scumbags. Here is a few links to provide proof. Hello all. I currently participate in over 20 bounties at a time. It is actually becoming very difficult to keep track of my daily work even when using a custom spreadsheet.
I was wondering - is there any software or apps that allow for management of all our bounty campaigns at once? I looked but obviously couldn't find anything. If there isn't this would be a huge product/service to create for this niche. Something like that could help a lot of people and make a lot of money.
Also - does anyone have a spreadsheet they made for this purpose that they find to be extremely helpful? My spreadsheet is good but it could certainly be better. I just can't seem to figure out the best way to set it up so I can do my work quickly and efficiently.

Well they finally responded. Looks like they are aware of the issues and trying to fix them. I know many of you are not fans of ED, but the fact remains that they are the only DEX that allows for custom tokens. ED also has multiple other unique features and is a fan favorite by many even given the problems the site itself faces. They are supposedly working on ED 2.0 and if that happens, sites like IDEX and Radar Relay will be toast.
