I don't know if you guys noticed but ETH is back in its 2021 trend where it belongs.    Now holding on to it will depend on how it consolidates above the red bar.  Obviously if the buyers gobble up everything the market throws at them then hopefully we'll see another leg up to 2.5k soon and 3.5k after that.  Leeezz gooo!

Looking at the chart below, no brainer and pretty sure everybody is bullish when the month of March ended.  Now let's have a fun one...  I guess the question is how bullish are you right now after BTC broke above 25k, stayed above it and went on to go above 28k?

Next stop 30k - 32k range.  That's double the price of where it was during the lows of November.  Leeez gooo!

Dragonvslinux made a good post in the Feb sentiment thread about how BTC ended up mostly neutral with the smallest monthly gain...  But he also said that there were a couple of spots when it closed the month the same way and went on to go up the next month.

So what do you guys think?  Up above 25k USD by end of March or still below it?

Playoffs

I'm just looking at charts of ETH and other altcoins rn and I feel like we're in for another blood bath.  And February could end up bad with most alts ending in red for the month.

I'm not sure what's going on and what's causing most of the market's volatility but it's not looking good guys.  Whales look like they're running stops then shorting the market themselves..  Does anybody what's up with the sudden change in sentiment?

It's looking like the bulls are back as we've seen with the more than the 30% rise in BTC's price just for the month of January alone.  But even with that high of a price increase, I still see some folks say that we're still not of the woods yet.  Surely there's some hope that we are out...  What do you guys think?

I didn't expect it to go up this high at 24k tbh.  I thought it was gonna go around 22k - 23k range, go back down to 20k then go side ways after that.

Like BTC, November wasn't really great for WTH too.  And like BTC, it looked like ETH was going to start trending up for a while but then of course something shtty has to happen.  FTX.  :/  But it also feels like the market stopped caring and we're seeing some buyers scoop up some ETH at these prices.

We'll do exactly the same thing as the BTC sentiment thread.  Look at the chart below and answer the poll. I saw a guy asking for 'undecided' in the BTC thread.  I say no...  Let's not take ourselves seriously now.  Just have fun and answer yes or no.  

Ok...  November wasn't really that great for BTC.  To recap, it was doing great the first couple of days and looked like it was finally starting to break out and trend up higher until the FTX fiasco spoiled the party.  But then around November 22, the market seemed not to care anymore and started going up again.

The chart below doesn't really look all that good but if you have been following the price action everyday it feels like there aren't a whole lot of sellers left.  So hence the poll.

I've seen a couple or so newbie accounts asking for a 'criteria' on how to choose an altcoin that would have the greatest potential to be a 1000x coin.

I'm gonna throw around some ideas but as all of you already know, this is in no way financial advice.  This is just all for the lulz and it would be cool if you guys throw your own ideas in the mix too...  So here goes.

Criteria to find the next 1000x coin:

It must not be listed in any of the major exchanges.  This is not a hard rule but I noticed that 1000x coins are mostly unknown.

It must have a dog logo.  What can I say, memecoins seem to go up by a lot more than the rest of the market.

Be mindful of market cap.  The lower, the better.  If a coin's market cap is 100m, 1000x would be 100b.  Lol.  It would take a lot of money to pump it that high.  But if the market cap is just 1 million, 1000x would be 1 billion.  It's much more possible it could happen imho.

I would like to add that it needs to be new token/coin that people haven't yet tweeted about, at least not too much. Preferably with no advertising bounties. Old projects under 10M marketcap have either died or something bad has happened behind the scene. Something that no one is interested in them, so unless you know some inside news about those, you are betting on a dead horse.

Also no price talk on the channel gives a professional touch that makes me think it's already more mature and professional then 90% projects out there.

Hey guys, we're back for another sentiment poll for the month of November.  I present this chart below without any comments, predictions or any of my personal opinions.  I'm more interested in what you think and any insights you guys have with regards to the poll.  So yeah...  Just vote and drop a line or two and let's see where we are by the end of November.  

But I gotta say...  It has been looking good.

As we've already seen, near the end of October there were buyers who were coming in with serious volume, bringing positive momentum back in BTC.  And it's not just BTC...  Most of the other coins have closed their monthly in the green.

So the question now is will this momentum continue for November or will it fizzle out and bring BTC back to 18k - 19k range?  I made the poll a yes or no question as I want a clearer sentiment this time.

Just like the BTC sentiment poll this month, I just want to know how and what you guys are feeling towards the market, specifically ETH for October...

I feel like the ETH market has done what it needed to in this market.  It has already made all those who were likely to sell, dump their bags.  I mean is there really more down side after everything?  :/  I used to think yes.  But somehow I'm slowly not convinced anymore.

Here's an easy one.  No BTC guessing games at what price or near what price by the end of the month.  Just go by how and what you feel as you make the vote.  Now I'm not going to vote in my own poll but right now I feel like it's all just gonna go sideways for a couple of months or so before we see what's up with the whole inflation thing.  I haven't really been paying attention tbh.  Lol.  I just look at the chart and figure it out if it's risk off or risk on.

Just like the BTC sentiment poll thread let's do something different this time instead of the usual 'yes or no' votes.  Let's see in what direction between two price points do you guys think ETH will go.  I think it's much better to do it this way to gauge sentiment.

Just a simple poll to get a feeler on what this part of the forum thinks of ETH and the altcoin market right now.  I would've asked for 2.5k but I guess breaking out 2k has as much psychological effect as 2.5k.

With BTC finishing up in the green for the month of July, I'm pretty sure a lot of you guys are somewhat bullish now.  And rightly so.  I kinda am too.  But here's the thing..  Do you guys think the momentum will continue enough for August and for BTC to form higher lows?

Same deal with the BTC sentiment thread for July at the other speculation section.  Check out the chart below.  Next support could be the 800 - 835 range.  It seems to be respected last time as ETH bounced back up as soon as it approached it.  What do you guys think?  Will it be respected again next time or is ETH going below it?

Just like the BTC sentiment thread that I've been doing every month, I'd like to know what the guys who are mostly into altcoins are feeling with the market right now.  But we'll mostly be talking about the top altcoin Ethereum.

So yeah, with the merge being postponed again from July to September, what do you guys think will happen?  Will there be another postponement?  How will it affect the price?  Will 1700 - 1800 range hold or do we see another drop?  I'm really curious what you guys are thinking rn.
