141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why do Bcash Supporters Get Insulted if You Call it Bcash? on: November 29, 2017, 06:00:14 AM
Why do they have to take it as an insult?  And specifically Ver himself.  He doesn't have to take it so personally.  It's actually a cool shortened name for the coin.

'Bitcoin Cash' sounds so awkward imho, as the words 'coin' and 'cash' usually refer to the same thing.  It's like saying 'Bitcoin Money', which actually sounds a little better.  Lol.

Anyway here's a video of how Bcash's biggest supporter rage quits the interview.  A must watch!

- On November 18, it was announced that James Mulheron had failed an out-of-competition drug test stemming from sampled collected on November 10 and as a result he was pulled from the card. Cyril Asker remains on the card and will face promotional newcomer Yaozong Hu on five days notice.

143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The Differences of the 2013 - 2014 Era and Now in Altcoins on: November 19, 2017, 11:11:29 AM
Hey guys, just sharing this nice interview with Jared Tate of Digibyte made by Chris de Rose.  Before you watch it, let me tell you that de Rose was one of the earlier Bitcoiners who were quick to call and prove (to a point) an altcoin project a scam.  He did a good job imo, but now it seems he's more open to some of the altcoins that are actually trying to build something.

Enjoy.  Smiley

However on October 10, Hunt was removed from the bout due to "medical concerns". He had recently admitted in an article trouble sleeping and said he's begin to stutter and slur his words. The UFC released a statement claiming that "the health-related statements made by Hunt represented the first time UFC was made aware of these claims". They also announced that it would be required that Hunt undergo further testing and evaluations prior to competing in any future bout. As a result, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum stepped in as a replacement on October 10.

- The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption welterweight winner Jesse Taylor was expected to face Belal Muhammad at the event. However on September 13, it was announced that Taylor was pulled from the card after being notified by USADA of a potential doping violation. He was flagged after an out-of-competition drug test conducted August 22. He was replaced by Tim Means on October 11.

For neutrality's sake, I won't vote.  Enjoy.

147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / A Good Read About Ethereum and its Future (Demise) on: November 08, 2017, 11:14:41 AM
I usually don't care about the ideals (or its lack of) behind a cryptocurrency or what 'breakthroughs' they're trying to achieve.  I'm here to trade any coin or token as long as there's decent  volume and liquidity and make some Bitcoins (hopefully) in the process.

But I recommend all the people who has become blinded from all the bullsh*t to read Junseth's blog below.  Open your eyes.

150  Other / Meta / On Cleaning Up the Gambling Discussion Section on: October 18, 2017, 09:57:23 AM
Hey mods, I was wondering if it was possible to move those useless, 1000 page threads entitled 'Is Gambling a Sin?' (LOL), 'I Can't Quit Gambling' and all that to be archived?

I mean they're clearly not gambling discussion threads.  They're just off topic threads imho.

What do you guys think?
151  Economy / Speculation / Drug Money and the Rise and Rise of Bitcoin on: October 17, 2017, 02:57:46 PM
Ok, I know you're probably saying 'WTF man!', but here me out because it could be plausible.

I just saw the movie called 'American Made'.  It's about this pilot named Barry Seal who smuggled drugs for Pablo Escobar, and then guns for the CIA.  The thing is he made a lot of money that...  Like 'he doesn't know where to put them' a lot...  He buries bags full of cash in his backyard ffs, just like how Escobar did it.

Anyway, then I thought, it would be cool if Bitcoin was around during that time because they could easily store all that value in a USB drive.  Lol.

Then it occured to me...  Drug cartels today are bigger and better, what's stopping them from buying all the BTC they can get their hands on?

What do you guys think?
152  Economy / Gambling / Sports Betting Site Question on: October 14, 2017, 10:05:58 AM
Will there ever be a sports betting site that can beat Nitrogen?  I don't know how the rest stays in business because Nitrogen offers the best odds, offers the safest and most secure service and has one of the better selections of sports to bet at.

Tho they could use some prop bets to add some spice.  But still, I'm asking the rest of the BTC bookies, how could you beat Nitrogen?  I mean honestly...

154  Economy / Gambling discussion / America's Cardroom to Accept 60 Cryptocurrencies on: September 24, 2017, 06:44:22 AM
Yup!  You heard it right folks!  But which cryptocurrencies is still up in air, but I'm pretty confident with LTC and XMR's chances, which are two of my very long term holds.  I hope my other prospects of long term holds, (which I have been slowly accumulating) would be accepted as well.

And I also hope it would be mostly promising POW coins.  Anyway, good news.  ACR is setting the bar up for crypto gambling sites.

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Suggest Me a Coin, And I'll Tell You What I Think on: September 10, 2017, 12:35:19 PM
Hey guys, suggest me what to trade and I'll tell you what I think and also possibly post a chart to visualize my thoughts.

I'm in the sidelines for now as I don't see anything good to trade.  The whole market pretty much sucks.  But there might be a gem or two out there that's under the radar that I haven't heard of.

So help me find those gems.  Suggest me a coin to trade.  Thanks.

Edit:  Caveat Emptor.  All I say is not trading advice or any of that sort.  For all you know it all could be BS on my part.

In case you don't know, Bitcoin hedge fund, Pantera Capital, is investing in the ICO of a new blockchain project called Maecanas.  Maecanas is one of the first projects that's going to be with Cofoundit's platform for training and assisting new ICO startups.

You can read more about it in this announcement.
