45  Bitcoin / Mining / When to go solo? on: June 02, 2011, 07:57:58 PM
When would you say is a good time to go solo.
Interested in hearing your stories of luck and misfortune, especially when compared to your estimates.
How do you feel given the current difficulty level and are you considering joining a pool in the future if difficulty levels continue to rise at a large %?
46  Bitcoin / Mining / Hidden web miners are ruining my life. on: May 31, 2011, 03:23:56 AM
I'm serious, who the hell decided it would be a good idea to embed hidden miners on every other bitcoin related web site?

You are causing visitors to leave your site and never return. Not to mention stealing their CPU power and electricity, or the increased risk of causing a fire, killing their cat & children.

Is this REALLY what BitCoin is about?

Can anything be done against this monstrosity?
47  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Building a 4x GPU setup. Need some advice. on: May 20, 2011, 02:02:12 PM
Hi guys & gals.
I'm wondering while building a new rig should I just use the 4x x16 PCI-E slots and wedge my cards apart with an item? Or do you recommend buying flexi risers? I'm just a little worried about damaging the pcie slots from wedging the cards apart.

Thanks for your time!
