1  Bitcoin / Group buys / [INTEREST] [US] Antminer U3 .18BTC each (You supply shipping label) on: May 28, 2015, 05:24:12 AM
Just gonna throw this out there and see if people might be interested.

I'm thinking of picking up 20 Antminer U3s to resell.  I want to be fully transparent with you guys so my cost after bitmain gets their shipping charges is (at current BTC value):
2.535 BTC
( 598.26 USD )

Which comes out to about .126 each.

With packaging costs and taking a little profit for my work I'm thinking .18 is a reasonable price to charge at current BTC rates and you would email me a shipping label to print and slap on the box.

I don't know what dimensions the packaging for these guys is and if someone out there knows I would love to know.  I'm thinking maybe 2 would fit in a med flat rate box but I have no idea.

Since I would be able to front the initial cost of the miners I would be happy to use escrow if your more comfortable with that till I get a bit more trust rep but I have been a member here for a long time and anyone who has ever delt with me knows I'm a stand up and legit guy.  I would also make it a point to get the miners shipped out asap and I can't guarantee 24 hrs that would be my goal.  Oh the lady at the post office is gonna love me and my boxes   Grin

Any thoughts, questions, concerns, trolls?  I'm here.

I would be shipping from 57701

3  Economy / Gambling / Interest in a regular raffle? on: September 27, 2014, 11:10:21 PM
I want to see if people would be interested in a regular raffle program.

We can raffle off things like Mining Rigs, PSU, GPUs...  whatever the people want.

I would be happy to use a escrow if you guys want.

Just wanted to throw the idea out there.  Maybe have a raffle once a week or something.

What do you guys think?

10  Bitcoin / Mining support / Control Multiple Antminer S1s with Minepeon!!! on: April 06, 2014, 06:19:28 PM
Figured it out!!!  Cheesy

I've seen other people asking if it's possible and we got it working.

So many people have tried using the "--http-port 8330" at the end of the setting code but would only get rejects.

Simply change "http" to "stratum"  so  "--stratum-port 8330"  point your antminers at the Pi's IP address with port 8330 and use a different worker name for each S1 and that's it.  worker/pw doesn't matter what you use just have a different worker name for each.

Hope this helps out someone.
11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Asicminer??? on: April 06, 2014, 01:02:50 AM
Anyone know what the hell Asicminer is up to?  They don't have any relevant products right now that I know of.  Block erupter's and cubes.  They must have something coming out soon.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Bitcoin funded comapain against Manchin! on: February 26, 2014, 11:55:03 PM
This guy has to go.  He obviously has no idea what he's talking about and I feel there should be a bitcoin funded campaign against him next election.  Money could go toward his opponent and political ads.  We can call it the bitcoin superpact!

Toughts?

15  Economy / Economics / How does CEX.io distribute new Gh? on: October 30, 2013, 02:31:14 AM
I've been wondering how exactly Cex.io distributes more GH/s into their market.  Like when they put more hardware online or want to sell off some of their own hashing power from the reserves do they just sell it at market price because that would cause the price to drop dramatically every time they did.  So how do they balance new shares into the market without effecting price?
