SCAMMERs are shameless. It is sad because a respected faucet for BTC / LTC / DOGE ( http://moonbit.co.in/) works now with them. Moonbit.co.in propose to the customers to use the so called Bitcoingenerator v.4.5 When you visit the SCAMMER's website, you have as option to mine Bitcoin with CPU (!)  and the minim amount for withdrawal is ... 1 BTC  Obviously you are able to do this only after you pay the 0.18 BTC fee with your REAL BTCI recommend to avoid any faucet and especially this: http://bitcoingenerator.com.ru/V4.5/about-us.htmlAfter the explosion of Bitcoin price, other cryptocoins were affected too therefore IMO all the faucets and other location, where you can receive FREE coins, now either are closed (e.g.: FaucetBox.com), either the owners try to rip off their customers. IMHO the age of generosity has gone therefore if you want Bitcoin, please avoid any headache and buy from the authorized exchange or consider to invest into an ASIC. Bitcoin is $9000+ today and still climbing so I say it's worth to do that. Eventually you can put your grandma to pedal in order to generate free electricity Hugh you tight! SCAMMERii nu mai au nici o rusine. Cel mai trist este ca un respectat faucet pt BTC / LTC / DOGE ( http://moonbit.co.in/) lucreaza acum cu ei. Pe langa faptul ca platile sunt de mizerie acum si se fac doar odata pe saptamana, desi tu poate strangi mai devreme minimul de coins, pe care il poti transfera la adresa ta, Moonbit.co.in propune userilor sai sa foloseasca asa zis-ul Bitcoingenerator v.4.5 Cand intri pe site-ul SCAMM-erilor, ai ca optiune sa iti mineze Bitcoin cu CPU (!) iar suma minima pe care o poti retrage este de... 1 BTC Asta numai dupa ce evident le transferi la proprietari taxele aferente pt. ' efortarea' lor, care nu sunt mici deloc: 0.18 BTC RECOMAND: evitati ORICE faucet / chilipir si in special asta: http://bitcoingenerator.com.ru/V4.5/about-us.htmlALTA RECOMANDARE:Dupa explozia pretului la BTC, alte crypromonede au fost si ele afectate, asa ca multe faucets si alte locuri, unde se dadeau coins gratis, fie s-au inchis, fie acum incearca sa pacaleasca clientii IMHO epoca generozitatii a apus, asa ca daca vrei Bitcoin, fie cumparati de la exchange-urile autorizate ca sa nu va luati teapa, fie investiti intr-un ASIC. Salut !
De curand m-am apucat de scris, iar in curand voi publica pe Amazon. Problema este ca vreau sa o fac si in engleza, insa am mari lacune, in special in ce priveste gramatica. Ca sa nu mai vorbesc de faptul ca asezarea in fraza a cuvintelor este total diferita ca in romana, iar in loc de liniuta de dialog, se folosesc ghilimele duble. Oricat de bine m-as stradui, tot nu stiu daca va iesi multumitor, iar bani sa platesc pe cineva sa imi faca o traducere profesionala, chiar nu am. Am inteles ca tranlsatorii folosesc smartCAT, dar eu nu m-am prins cum se face, desi am trimis la support cereri peste cereri de ajutor. Aveti idee cum functioneaza ?
Multumesc anticipat si va astept cu un raspuns!

Just found some info on dogecoinfah.com about the project folding@home
According to this, you can: " Help scientist simulate folding proteins and dig for cures. Compete with other diggers to earn Dogecoin rewards"
I installed the software on my PC couple days ago hopping to earn some Dogecoins.
Money wasn't the motive. I want to donate these coins.
Unfortunately I have some doubts regarding the fairness of the payments.
My FAH client shows an average rate of 7700 points per day, but in 36 hours I earned only 800 points...
And I didn't received any DOGE in my MultiDoge wallet.
My attempts to contact the support of folding@home was without success.
Shall I continue with this project or not ?
Has somebody received any [confirmed] dime from folding@home ?

Hello world, I need your help ! Just reinstalled Win7 64bit. I downloaded the Dogecoin Core 1.10 ( dogecoin-1.10.0-win64-setup-unsigned.exe) and I wanted to use the copy of my old wallet.dat When I launch the dogecoin-qt.exe I have this error: " couldn't open socket for incoming connections (socket returned error 87)" then " Failed to listen on any port. Use -listen=0 if you want this." I added -listen=0 parameter to the dogecoin-qt.exe shortcut from my desktop and I was able to run it. Unfortunately I still have problems: "0 active connections to Dogecoin networks". I downloaded even the the bootstrap.dat from https://bootstrap.chain.so/ but my dogecoin wallet is still 54 weeks behind...  The installation stuck at block 957001 In order to solve my issues, I did these without success: - searched on Interned for help: no solution founded for my problem - read docs about Dogecoin: the Troubleshooting section didn't help me too much - asked for help on Reddit.com : NOBODY reply to me !  - firewall checked: OK, I even forwarded port 22556 - socks5: I don't use proxy connection - created a dogecoin.conf file (which I didn't need it before on the old Dogecoin Core 1.08, the wallet synced properly) : addnode=162.246.5.128:22556

Nu prea mai sunt la curent cu noutatile, insa am remarcat ca pretul la Bitcoin a sarit de la $400 la $500 si inca continua sa creasca.
Are legatura aceasta crestere cu apropiata injumatatirii a celor 25 BTC / block sau sunt si alte cauze ?

I find very sad that this part of "Economics" section of the forum it is now full of trolls and there is a huge lack of well written articles.
I believed this section was about the Bitcoin price. When it is down or up, I want to find here answers not to Google.
IMO you can't find anymore USEFUL information here. Only mindless flame wars between trolls and HODLers.
There is no admin to restore the order here ?

On Monday 25/08/2014, the price jumped to $19.99, and today, Wednesday it is $24.99
Any explanation ?

I propose to organize all the altcoins by their corresponding algorithms : scrypt , scrypt-N, scrypt-jane, X11, SHA3 etc.
This will be more easy to search a particular coin.
Please vote and I hope an administrator will take this request in consideration.
