i paid $100 for my 750 watts like 6 months ago

i guess those didn't have a crappy MIR though, but this one says 'Receive a $20 mail-in rebate check from SeaSonic! Expires on 5/8/13 ', so I guess maybe at least it isn't one of those prepaid cards

Never Settle Reloaded bundle.  It says that the Far Cry 3 code will be emailed to the address used to register with when it is released.  Bioshock & Tomb Raider steam codes would be sent immediately.

The AMD Unique ID is submitted on the http://www.amd.com/neversettlepromo site to obtain the Steam® Key Codes for BioShock® Infinite and Tomb Raider™ and the Ubisoft® Uplay Key Code for Far Cry® 3 Blood Dragon. The Steam Key Codes are redeemed at www.steampowered.com/getsteam and Ubisoft® Uplay Key Codes are redeemed at http://shop.ubi.com/amdfarcry.

(further down, but contains some more info)

To Receive Key Codes: An internet connection is required. Upon receipt of the AMD Unique ID, Participant should visit www.amd.com/neversettlepromo, input the AMD Unique ID (referred to as a “Unique ID” on the website) and the other required information, and submit the web form. THIS WEBSITE MAY BE PROVIDED IN ENGLISH, JAPANESE, KOREAN, GERMAN, ITALIAN, FRENCH, AND SPANISH ONLY. Participant will receive an email from Rayment & Collins (noreply@amd4u.com) at the email address provided on the web form which contains the Key Codes. If Participant does not receive the Key Codes via an email from Rayment & Collins within seven (7) days of supplying the AMD Unique ID on www.amd.com/neversettlepromo, the Participant should contact support@amd4u.com.

I have never heard of Uplay, so I dunno if the Far Cry code is just for Uplay or works on Steam as well, don't play many games (uh, I have a total of two on Steam).

The bundle sells for an average of around $37 on eBay over the last week, but I'm sure I could list it buy-it-now and get $40 for it (I see three buy-it-nows sold at $42, $55, and $45 within the last 48hrs).  Yeah, that'd be like $35 after eBay fees... which is why I'm trying to sell it here.

Anyhow, I'm looking for either $40 in BTC or I'll take a $39 MtGox USD coupon code instead (as I'd avoid the 0.6% commission and not have to deal w/ the hassle of fluctuating prices).

I'd want the MtGox USD coupon/BTC first, then I'll provide the coupon code for you to enter into the www.amd.com/neversettlepromo site.

PM me if interested
85  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 7850 MSI Twin Frozr Radeon HD 7850 2GB @ $170 after MIR on: April 09, 2013, 08:01:54 PM
http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/93162/newegg-msi-twin-frozr-radeon-hd-7850-2gb-gddr5-pci-express-3.0-video-card-far-cry-3-blood-dragon-bioshock-infinite-tomb-raider-game-coupons

just editing this post that was already here (it used to be about 7770 for $70, hence the reply below)

MIRs suck.

but if you actually used it and sold those game coupons on ebay, I guess it'd be under $150.

buy this if you want a decent card for gaming (2GB RAM), not to put together some new mining machine.

link fixed to not take you to page 2 comments, hah.

87  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] *FANS* for Sapphire 5830 xtreme's on: February 20, 2013, 06:58:49 PM
I assume the regular non-xtreme Sapphire's use the exact same fan?  anyway, I need 4 of these to get them ready to resell (well, make that 5, in case another breaks down in the next month or so)..   Most of my 5830's I've been running fanless @ 0.95v for a while now..

anyone have a batch they'd want to sell, or could direct me to some guy on ebay?

thanks
88  Other / Beginners & Help / "Chemical smell" on: February 14, 2013, 07:23:35 AM
yeah, so I just got a visit from the PD (two cars, no less) about the "chemical smell" coming from my open window (in the room w/ all my computers)

i thought that whole shit was an urban myth

anyway, i lolled
89  Economy / Marketplace / The possibility of someone buying all my mining stuff in bulk? on: January 31, 2013, 06:32:27 AM
In the forthcoming weeks, it'll become unprofitable to continue mining with my GPUs, so I'll be wanting to get rid of all the stuff I've been using.  I don't want to spend the time doing it myself, and I also don't want to just throw it all in the storage shed w/ the rest of my old computer parts.

So I'm exploring two options, 1) having someone sell the stuff for me on commission, 2) having someone buy all the stuff from me in bulk (it would ALL have to be bought) at some % of market rate (somewhere around 40-60, I haven't decided).

Is there anyone out there that would do either of the above?  I got one response to my commission post already, but it may just be easier to sell in bulk.  Obviously the details on all the equipment would be provided, which are "custom rigged", which have all original materials, etc...

treat it as a question of if it's something that you'd do, if you had all information required in regard to equipment condition

i'm also open to any other suggestions on how to move this stuff.  i guess a pawn shop would be one
90  Economy / Services / Selling stuff on eBay for commission? on: January 31, 2013, 05:53:01 AM
Is there anything like that out there?

i.e. if I sent someone 20 GPUs, half a dozen PSUs, half a dozen motherboards, and various other junk, someone sells it on eBay for me, and we work out a commission rate?

Are there companies that do that?  Or would I have to contract an individual?

I'll be turning off all my mining equipment soon and I'm not too keen on wasting time selling it myself, but I also don't want to add it to my junk pile in the storage shed

**********
edit:

it seems like this will be more than a week or two away.  probably a month or two.  though if you're interested, feel free to post.. i'll still want to sell all this stuff after enough ASICs hit the market.  the value right now is around $5k.. well, maybe more like $10k (i guess I could take the old i3's, geforces, and what not out of storage)

i bet junk like boxed copies of darklands and battle tech: crescent hawk's inception even have some value.. jaja

92  Economy / Currency exchange / (closed - vile linden dollars have been transferred) on: January 26, 2013, 06:24:35 AM
Is there a way to give these to someone w/o actually making a Second Life character?  I have something like 1000-1200 of them left and it won't let me buy fractions of a bitcoin so they are useless to me.

If anyone wants them and can tell me how to transfer them to you, they're all yours.  I'd rather do that then convert them to $3 or whatever then pay another $1 transaction fee.

the shenanigans and chicanery on that website is enough to last a person a lifetime

oh, I see.. send money works

first person that gives me a working virwox account to send to gets my chicken quesadilla's worth of linden dollars

oh, i have 17 cents too

94  Economy / Goods / dedicated servers for bitcoins on: January 13, 2013, 06:17:45 PM
I was checking out some of the dedicated hosting offers on webhostingtalk (looking for something in SE Asia or around Russia) and stumbled across this:

http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1227127

We now accept Webmoney and Bitcoin!

the prices arent too bad if managed is your thing, but i have no clue as to their reputation.  according to their faq, it's not a reseller.

just figured i'd post it on here as I didnt see much else, except a couple of ppl trying to resell them for bitcoins (and some OVH post from 2010).... but I didn't look too long  Wink

though that search brings up quite a few more things
95  Economy / Computer hardware / 5830 sapphire reference fans? on: December 26, 2012, 01:58:09 PM
Does anyone know where to buy these... or selling some yourself?

I'm getting ready to sell my 5830's and if I could get the fans for $10 or less, I'm thinking that'd probably increase the value $15-$20 vs having some 120mm fan ziptied on (plus I get to keep my $5 120mm fan!)..
96  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB 5970 (everything BUT the card) on: September 23, 2012, 11:32:45 AM
heat sink, backplate, etc.

i also have a 5870 that's trashed that I can sell if anyone's interested.  it's missing the backplate, but everything else is there.  I'll even leave the fan on it, I suppose.  the card itself is trashed, but I could include that as well

PM me if anyone is interested, I don't check this section often (too tempted to buy more GPUs that I don't really want)

Trying to determine which upgrade path to use...  whether or not I want to pay a ~58€ relocate fee or just upgrade without parallel operation (I'd rather not, but..)..
