21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Blockchain on Lending system on: June 02, 2021, 01:02:19 AM
Defi has been very popular these days. Finance structure can be decentralized with Defi.
However, Defi is a peer to peer financing system where no bank or intermediaries are required. However, is it possible that banks are running some sorts of blockchain based platform, which can help them to reduce the rate of default loan?
Or, how blockchain technology can help in managing non performing loans? Share any idea you got or share any project you know.
22  Economy / Web Wallets / Coinbase donít allow to withdraw on: May 27, 2021, 05:59:28 PM
One of my friend had 0.10 BTC in their coinbase account from long ago, he bought it for $35 as far as I know.
Recently, they had a few transaction in April although all of those transactions were very small but from few days ago, he can't withdraw anymore.
When you use coinbase to withdraw fund, after pasting the withdrawal address and amount, the "continue" button get enabled but now, itís not enabled.
I'm nit getting the below point yet.
It says BTC balance is 0.09***
But above, it says, you donít have enough fund.
What can be the problem?

23  Economy / Service Discussion / Paypal is going to allow users to withdraw coin to other wallet on: May 26, 2021, 06:16:39 PM
Earlier paypal have started to allow people to buy sell cryptocurrency (a few) but that was totally a stupid idea (not allowing users to withdraw fund). But they are going to change their decision and allow users to withdraw fund. I think this is great decision.

25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Who was pizza seller? on: May 21, 2021, 03:33:40 AM
Laszlo purchased 2 pizza for 10000 bitcoin. If I'm correct, I have read about the whole story a few days ago but I forgot the name of the seller. In an article here in bitcointalk, I have seen some details when the seller have sold most of their bitcoin etc.
Can someone give me the link of that article in bitcointalk or share details about that seller?
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What can be mined with GPU on: May 20, 2021, 06:58:56 PM
I know about Ethereum and Ravencoin which can be mined with GPU. However, there are a lot of coins which can be mined with GPU but which one do you think is better to mine with GPU. I'm not a pro here. I'm analyzing possibility of mining with GPU. I have planned to have as much as GPU on the board and start my first mining project.
Note- Please report/move the thread if this isnít the correct board to post this.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / IOTA, why no pump yet on: May 12, 2021, 05:06:34 PM
BTC domination has been down to get 42% and almost all of altcoins are pumping significantly. If you look at the top coins, some of them got new ATH, most of them close to the new ATH but despite IOTA having a good project, what's wrong with IOTA? Why no significant pump? Is it still a good choice to invest in?
28  Other / Beginners & Help / What's the mathematical puzzle miner solve? on: May 03, 2021, 05:56:07 PM
When we read article on mining, we get a term "solving mathematical puzzle". To get a block, miner needs to solve the mathematical puzzle and whoever can solve the puzzle will be able to get a block and thus the reward (I can be wrong technically, this is what I know).
What's this puzzle all about? What do miner exactly solve? Please try to avoid technical term if possible, I would like to know in easy way.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Github activity on: May 01, 2021, 03:33:19 PM
What does github activity actually refers to? According to this- https://www.cryptomiso.com/, there are many project which have very active updates regularly in the github. Is it a good sign of having great futures? I have seen many coins which I count as shit projects are in good ranking according to the github activity.
30  Other / Meta / Confused- Should I report it as off topic or not on: April 20, 2021, 01:19:30 PM
Referring to this post- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=631891.msg56822758#msg56822758

In our local thread, one user posted about ongoing issue with ESL (European Super League).
In the local thread, we usually discuss about crypto. So, based on that perspective, this is offtopic.

However, in the gambling discussion section, there are few threads in which people discussing about the same. From that perspective, this is not an offtopic post.
What do you think?

I could simply report the post and explain in report note but I have created this thread to share that discussion in a single thread is impossible and a separate board is very much needed.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Litecoin wallet help on: April 16, 2021, 08:24:40 AM
I had generated a litecoin wallet with the android app litewallet. From that wallet, I got seed words (itís written as paper key in the wallet).
However, when I tried to used the words as seed key in ltc-electrum wallet, I can't. I can't click the next button after putting the words.
What am I missing here?
32  Economy / Speculation / It's not the end, $60k again on: April 10, 2021, 04:29:15 AM
After reaching ~$62000, BTC had a pullback and now again it got backed to $61k again. Many have shorted at this price, I had too (long ago). But it doesnít seem stopping anytime soon. If I can remember, @100trillion twitter account posted few times that we are very early stage of the bullrun. We may see a huge bull of another few more months, very likely this whole year. If he is true (till now, he is very true), I think we will soon see the $100k mark.
What do you think? Is it still a good time to get in?
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Enj getting listed on coinbase on: April 07, 2021, 06:06:10 PM
Coinbase announced they will list ENJ, 1INCH and two more asset on 9th april. This is certainly a big news. From my experience, usually coinbase listing gives a huge pump. What do you think about ENJ? Will it break $4 sooner?
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Kraken founder Jesse Powell mentioned Polkadot as next ETH on: March 31, 2021, 01:28:32 PM
On an interviews of Kraken going public, Kraken talked about Polkadot. Although he didnít directly said Polkadot is the next Ethereum. He said, "Polkadot is the next Ethereum, many people think."
What do you think? Will Polkadot be able to replace Ethereum or Ethereum will be there and more powerful with the ETH 2.0?

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Risk associated with Exchange Native Token/Coin on: March 30, 2021, 01:01:28 PM
If we look at the history of exchanges native coin/token, we can see that they all have pumped huge. For example, BNB, KCS, FTX coin, Okex, BTMX (bad I missed this, I was about to purchase at $0.12).
One thing is certain that they will pump and they are here to stay. They won't go away simply unless thereís a significant damage happen like got hacked or stop their business.

What are the possible reason which you think is risky when you are purchasing an exchange coin/token? I'm planning of investing on exchanges coins once the market is in a bear cycle. Please share the risk of holding exchange native token/coin.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Why we should avoid low liquidity exchanges on: March 24, 2021, 02:38:04 PM
Damn, I have been scammed, indirectly.

I have purchased RNDR token when I heard Kucoin will list RNDR token. I used bilaxy exchange for buying RNDR. I was able to buy @$0.69 per RNDR. RNDR had a pump when Kucoin listed them but I didnít sell them. Today, RNDR pumped to $1.02 and I was trying to sell my RNDR at bilaxy but bad luck for me, I had to sell $0.72 per RNDR as there was very low liquidity. As RNDR withdraw fee was 46 RNDR which was more than $46, I didnít dare to.

So, basically it was a loss for me as I had to pay fee, I had to pay withdrawal fee. At the end, I got what I had deposited.

We must avoid using such low quality or low liquidity exchanges. Most of the times, you will be ripped.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Jumpnet and Enjin coin on: March 21, 2021, 06:19:22 AM
Just recently have read news on Enjin. So far, Enjin is one of the best performing altcoin. I just learnt that Enjin will move to Jumpnet on April 06. Can someone share the details what Jumpnet is? Basically they are focusing to fix the scaling issue with ERC20. At some point I see mention of ERC1155 (what's this).
And finally, what do you think? Will ENJ have a good pump on the Jumpnet move? I have been thinking of investing now as ENJ is now in dip. Please share your thoughts on it along with the details on Jumpnet and ERC1155 if you are familiar with these.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bep20 token sent to ERC20 address. Can recover? on: March 20, 2021, 04:20:57 PM
One of my local guy mistakenly sent a token from Bep20 to a coinbase address of ERC20. He used trust wallet to send the token. Now, as far as I know his tokens are lost forever.
I donít know any way of recover the token. I anyone of you knows, please tell me the process.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Grayscale trust address list on: March 17, 2021, 02:25:04 PM
Grayscale just have updated their list with 5 more asset. Here's the tweet- https://twitter.com/Grayscale/status/1372173307924123649?s=19
That's not my main focus on. I am looking for their total holding on different coins. They used to update the holding time to time but that doesnít say the exact amount they are holding.
Are all of their holding public? Like people maybe know their public address of Bitcoin but what about other altcoins fund they have? Does anyone know the list of addresses for other holdings like LTC, ETH etc.? If possible, please share here. It would be good to know about their holdings.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Where's the altcoin bull on: March 12, 2021, 03:30:18 PM
Few old projects have made the ATH, like enj, doge, bnb, eth but most of the old projects are still far away from the ATH. Can we call the current situation bullrun for altcoin?  I think no. Most of the times, itís the affect of bitcoin rise.
So, when are we having altcoin bull where altcoin will be outperforming bitcoin? Or no more such things happening at all?
