No need to suggest options from the solo mining category https://www.asicminervalue.com/categoryI am looking for options to launch a cheaper solo Bitcoin mining with a hashrate of 5 or more Terahash. I am ready to allocate 500 watts of constant consumption for this idea. My options are upgrading old ASICs from S9 and newer models. On old models, you can only use 1 motherboard with chips out of 3. I do not want to pay 500 dollars for Canaan Avalon Nano 3S, but I want to buy an old unprofitable ASIC for 20-200 dollars, upgrade it a little and launch solo mining. Any ideas?

Radeon RX 9070 will launch in March Not in January, not in February but March. McAfee’s announcement is likely to cause some confusion among GPU enthusiasts. Retailers have been stocking these cards since early January, and we have confirmed that some reviewers received them as early as late December. Imagine waiting with a new GPU without drivers for 2.5 months or so, I’m not sure if this has ever happened before. Thus far, AMD has announced only two SKUs so far: the Radeon RX 9070 XT and the Radeon RX 9070 non-XT. The company has not confirmed the name of the GPU these models will use; however, a render of the processor was shown. Unofficially, it’s Navi 48. In terms of specs, ASUS and other board partners have confirmed that both models feature 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The good news is, once officially released, the series should have large stock available. So hopefully, AMD won’t disappoint with pricing and FSR4 will be ready as well. https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-confirms-radeon-rx-9070-series-launching-in-march

https://lumoz.org/Modular Compute Protocol Celebrating the Launch of Lumoz PoW Testnet: Lumoz and ZK.Work Jointly Introduce PoW Mining Event On November 1st, Lumoz announced the official launch of its PoW testnet, with some miners currently participating in testing on a small scale. Join now: https://lumoz.org/zkproverThe launch of the PoW testnet is a significant update before the Lumoz mainnet goes live. At the technical level, the team has optimized the ZK-POW algorithm further, resulting in an approximately 50% improvement in ZKP proof efficiency. On the application side, the launch of the PoW testnet will provide a more stable, secure, and cost-effective decentralized computational power network service for over 20 Layer2 chains within the Lumoz ecosystem (such as Merlin Chain, ZKFair, Ultiverse, Matr1x, etc.). To mark this launch, Lumoz has announced a joint PoW mining event with the well-known mining platform ZK.Work. Initially, single mining for MOZ will be available, with potential future consideration for MOZ and Aleo dual mining, aiming to provide miners with more flexible and diverse income opportunities. In the future, Lumoz and ZK.Work will engage in comprehensive cooperation in brand building, community promotion, and other aspects to enhance the mining experience for miners. https://mirror.xyz/lumozorg.eth/JynGVosaYBBEa7cxjaiVMXs9fAv0r-oLKDmVo2RTSbAInformation for those who participate in the Lumoz testnet (mines #MOZ) To see your test coins in your wallet, you need to: Add Arbitrum Sepolia Mainnet: Arbitrum Sepolia Mainnet 421614 https://sepolia-rollup.arbitrum.io/rpcETH Click import tokens and insert the contract address: 0xFB81A910AAFE8f04242Bb364a8Cf7AC359e020bf https://t.me/journalmainera/4354

Bitdeer Taped Out SEAL03 Bitcoin ASIC with 10 J/TH Efficiency 21.7 EH/s of SEALMINER A1 and A2 in mass production Bitdeer announced that it has “successfully” completed the tape-out of its third-generation Bitcoin mining chip, the SEAL03, with an expected efficiency of 10 J/TH. In its October update released on Wednesday, Bitdeer stated that it anticipates receiving initial sample wafers of SEAL03 in the second quarter of next year. A successful tape-out of a chip is a critical step in validating its design and paving the way for production. Additionally, Bitdeer said it has commenced the mass production of its SEALMINER A1 and A2 Bitcoin miners, which total 21.7 EH/s and are powered by its first and second-generation Bitcoin mining chips. The company expects to deliver 3.7 EH/s of the SEALMINER A1 by January 2025 for proprietary mining. Approximately 0.4 EH/s of that output is en route to Bitdeer’s mining sites in Texas and Norway for full energization by the first quarter. Currently, an additional 1.7 EH/s of the A1 miners are in the production phase. Mass production for SEALMINER A2 has also commenced, as Bitdeer secured foundry capacity for 18 EH/s of hashrate, which will be allocated for third-party sales and proprietary mining. Last month, the company revealed the specifications of its air-cooled and hydro-cooled A2 miners, which boast hashrate capacities of 226 TH/s and 446 TH/s, respectively, both achieving an efficiency of 16.5 J/TH. https://theminermag.com/news/2024-11-07/bitdeer-tape-seal03-bitcoin-asic/

I came up with this theory while studying ASICs for mining Alephium, Radiant, Kaspa 1. At the first stage, before the release of a new ASIC, the price of the coin is pumped so that ASICs can be sold at a high price. The payback period of an ASIC at the time of sale is 90 days. 2. Since ASICs are sold much more expensive than their cost, the ASIC manufacturer has money left to prevent the coin price from falling too much. But eventually, with the increase in the payback of ASICs, the manufacturer is forced to reduce the price, but selling ASICs at this stage is profitable. 3. At stage 3, I thought that everything would end, but I was wrong. Using the example of the Kaspa coin, Kasplex KRC-20 is launched. This is an analogue of the classic Ethereum, where various profitable defi products may appear, the purpose of which is to reduce the sale of the coin on exchanges. ASIC manufacturers will earn again https://x.com/kasplex/status/18331145270401682954.At stage 4, I think there will be an outflow of liquidity, sale of coins on exchanges and disappointment of newbie miners who recently bought these ASICs. Do you like my theory?
