I did not notice this Expires after in Receive tab of Electrum. I often open the Address tab to get my receiving addresses.

I am confusing to see it and search for documents but I still can not understand it. With 2 documents, I think Expires after is not important and it means nothing for my receiving address that always exist in my wallet. With one seed, I have one unique wallet and one unique set of receiving address.

I made trials with different time settings and click a few times and I saw different parameters in Request box with time=xxxxxxxxxxxxx&exp=yyyyyyyyyyyyyy

I think it is like scheduled receiving time (similar to locktime when send out my bitcoin).

Could you help me, please.

Set request expires to never or leave it unchanged. This option doesn’t do anything meaningful for on-chain transactions (i.e. not Lightning). People can always send you bitcoin and addresses don’t expire.

Months ago when I applied in a merit giveaway, my application post was deleted (by the merit giveaway manager) and my signature was still displayed.

Signature was not removed after I was demoted from Junior member to Newbie.

The rule is for Junior member. I applied when I have 29 posts and 1 or some merit (I don't remember). With the application post, I have enough 30  posts for Junior member. I ranked up later, add a signature but I thought manager deleted that post and I was demoted back to newbie.

Today I read that in the forum there are glitches so is it a glitch?

Think:
- Fill up weekly post quota
- Try to copy & paste & source to earn merit

My proposal

I am honestly sorry for the stupid quetions.

I updated my Electrum wallet to the version 4.0.2 and I get troubles with it.

- I can not find where to activate the option "Set fee manually" as previous wallet version.
- I can not spend my coin. What I do is "Choose an address, click on spend from". Then, I have to click on Send tab (previous version, after I click on Spend from, it will automatically direct to the Send tab). Paste a receiving address, cick Max, click Save.

I moved next by click on Pay, then Finalize, Sign, Broadcast. At the end, I get the pop up message.

The server returned an error when broadcasting the transaction.
Consider trying to connect to a different server, or updating Electrum.

As I read, change addresses can help to protect privacy leaks from transaction traces but not all exchanges provide change addresses for their customers.

Why they don't?

Are technology requirements or computation power to provide change addresses are expensive so some exchanges don't provide it?

Will they provide in the future?
