Hi everyone! Haven't been on bitcointalk for over a year. I see nothing has changed Cheesy
2  Economy / Reputation / QuickSeller / Panthers52 back to their old tricks on: December 15, 2015, 01:05:42 AM
See this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1175806.20, started by QuickSeller.

They used their alt Panthers52 to necro it 2 days ago. And they're trying to obfuscate that they control both accounts yet again. Come on, QuickSeller, are we really going to do this again?

If you want to know how the scammer/bully tspacepilot hypothesized that I am someone else then you should ask him, however he probably will not want to admit as to how much he was willing to stalk someone else that he was attempting to bully. There are one or two possibilities as to what he did, however that is off topic in this thread and is speculation.

...
PS: Can I ask you why are you using this alt-account and not your 'main' account Quickseller?
...
Which main account are you referring to?

Kind Regards
Panthers52

Here are they admitting it's their alt:

giant off-topic wall-o-text

And a bump and signature for it (wrong account?)

^^^This is clearly off-topic in this thread about whether new feedback should override old feedback and the cute little feedback war that Wardick seems to be perpetrating.

@QS: I think you're looking for this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1174567.0

Mods: can we get some help in here?
I am not looking for another thread. Although there is a portion of what I said that does not have to do with the OP, at least one statement in my post does (which is the threshold for it being on-topic), and is therefore appropriate. I was responding to a post that responded to P52, and the normal thing to do is to use that same account to issue a response. For clarification, I used the stronger reputation of QS (that has been damaged as of recently, but is still one that contains a large amount of trust that has not been breached  - eg no theft, no information leak), to back a statement made by an alt of mine that was outed.
3  Economy / Service Announcements / Paleo Food Delivery & Wholesale in Bangkok on: June 16, 2015, 06:51:48 AM
http://paleorobbie.com/

I just found this from a colleague and I'm quite impressed. They offer a great service by delivering fresh and healthy (following the paleo diet) meals in Bangkok. It is tasty and very convenient! And they accept Bitcoin. Don't expect 40 baht meals though. Quality comes at a price.

Have a look and if you're interest have a go at their 3-meal trial if you're interested.
4  Other / Meta / Trust spam happens on: March 23, 2015, 10:12:44 AM
I guess I stepped on someone's toes enough to warrant some old-fashioned trust spamming! Someone actually went through the effort to create several accounts only to give some negative feedback to me.

I'm flattered, impressed and disappointed at the same time.
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Scam accusation : FuckIdolPlus - Illegally selling Microsoft Product keys on: March 20, 2015, 06:00:12 AM
What happened:
FuckIdolPlus is one of the many people on here selling Microsoft product codes they generate from MSDN subscriptions. These subscriptions themselves are also obtained in fraudulent ways.

They opened a normal sales thread, but apparantly they didn't like me pointing out that they're not allowed to sell those codes. They actually went as far as to threaten me in a pm. Then they decided to request that thread to be deleted and they opened a new moved back to a self-moderated thread instead. And of course they have deleted my reply there.

All the keys are 100% genuine and will NOT be blacklisted under any circumstances.

This is a blatant lie. You're selling keys that you produce from an MSDN account. It is not allowed to sell those. That means Microsoft can, at any time, revoke those keys.

Keys bought come with lifetime replacement warranty.

Once again a lie, see above. Unless with lifetime you mean, "As long as I can be bothered" which most likely translates to about 1 week.

Their behaviour and attitude show typical signs of being a scammer. I strongly advise not to deal with them.

Payment Method: BTC only
Proof of Payment: N/A
PM/Chat Logs: N/A
Additional Notes: This user claims to have sold a legendary account. They may have scammed with it, then sold it and are now back to scam some more.

Edit: Actually the self-moderated thread existed already. They just moved back there when they didn't like my feedback in the new thread. Updated the post to reflect this.
6  Other / Off-topic / Bankrun causes Banco de Madrid to close on: March 17, 2015, 02:20:46 AM
After the US accused its parent company of laundering money the Spanish authorities announced a deep investigation into Banco de Madrid. That in turn caused customers to lose confidence and massively withdraw funds.

This is what happens when people lose confidence. Of course, in this case, the money mostly went to other banks...

Article:

Quote
... The decision comes less than a week after the lender’s entire board of directors walked out as a result of an incipient investigation into suspicious transactions, leading to a run on the bank.

This Bank of Spain probe was in turn triggered by the US authorities’ actions against Banco Madrid’s parent company, Banca Privada d’Andorra (BPA), for suspected money-laundering activities. ...

Edit: Locking, someone posted about the same item here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=993789.0
7  Other / Beginners & Help / There is a button to delete my own thread, right? on: February 06, 2015, 02:52:02 AM
If not I will have to lock it...

Edit: Oh, crap. I guess I can't simply delete my own topics here. Locked instead.
8  Bitcoin / Press / [2015-01-16] Random Darknet Shopper seized on: January 26, 2015, 12:36:21 AM
So the art project that was randomly buying one item a day on the dark net (using BTC of course) was seized when the exhibition ended. It has apparently got some media attention for buying ecstasy.

Read the article here: http://animalnewyork.com/2015/drug-buying-robot-artwork-seized-swiss-authorities/

Normally I would search before posting, but search not working. Meh.
9  Economy / Speculation / What will the price be on the 31st of December 2015, midnight? on: January 09, 2015, 03:21:33 AM
Since this a speculation subforum, let's speculate. Nothing serious. Just something fun to look back to in one year and say, "Wow, I was off so far!" or "I actually nailed it!". No explanations needed, but if you want to share go ahead.

Here's my totally unsupported guess:

On the 31st of December 2015, midnight BTC1 will trade for $666

11  Economy / Goods / Thai honey on: July 14, 2014, 02:16:31 AM
I came across some old (by bitcoin standards ancient) thread of someone selling Thai honey on here. It seems they stopped selling a long time ago. Is there still any interest in buying Thai honey on here?

I am in a position to get my grubby hands on that sweet nectar on a regular basis and wouldn't mind sharing/shipping some of it across the globe.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Hi, I am ABitNut on: May 15, 2014, 02:27:53 AM
Hi everyone,

I just joined the forum (obviously). I first heard about Bitcoin a few years ago but I was young and stupid (in hindsight!) so I didn't act on it Tongue.

I've been watching Bitcoin again for about 6 months since it's been getting more and more media exposure. Even if a lot of the exposure may seem negative we should keep in mind that even negative attention is still attention and it may help to make Bitcoin better known by the masses in the end. So I'm interested in how this develops and hoping to see Bitcoin becoming bigger.
