1  Other / Meta / What do you think of the Bitcoin Discussion section? Does he need to change? on: August 13, 2021, 10:30:13 AM
Recently I found that many posts in the Discussion section are locked. And I saw some comments on this section a few days ago, so I want to post a topic to discuss this matter.

1)As of 10:11 am UTC time, a total of 21 posts have been locked in the bitcoin discussion section, accounting for 26.25% of the posts on the first two [archive page1][archive page2]

2)A few days ago, I saw somebody made such an evaluation of bitcoin discussion.
As I said, I don't like ignoring Bitcoin Discussion.  It should be kept clean as far as low-quality posts, but it isn't and we all know it.  It ought to be a section that no one would even want to ignore, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has it on ignore.  I think it's probably improved since the inception of the merit system, but it's still got a cockroach problem if you know what I mean.

I remember when I joined, I mainly post on two boards, 'Bitcoin discussion' and 'Beginners and help'. It was kind of psychologically taken by me which I believed same to most newbies. If I did not go deeper to study and know more about bitcoin, I might not have started posting on other boards. Also the newbies that later become stale members but bounty hunters will like the old way, they will like to post where they were posting before. If you check many of the threads on those two boards, maybe the first page discouraged you, but the third and so on pages will more discouraged you as it will be full of bounty hunters posts which are of low quality. What I usually do is to read only good poster's contents there and also correcting some OP posts. I have noticed checking every boards on this forum is not easy, this can lead to some good active posters to ignor some boards full of low quality posts of the newbies and bounty hunters to focus on boards full of quality posters.

I don’t know what others say about bitcoin discussion. But at least, for me. I checked this section almost every day when I was a novice.

But gradually I found that the quality of the content in this section is too mixed, and gradually I tend to read posts in other sub-sections, such as Beginners & Help, Development & Technical Discussion.

For those who come to the forum for the first time, bitcoin discussion is definitely one of the most important sections.(It's still like this for me now).I still shared my first Bitcoin shopping in this section a few days ago,Of course, sometimes there will be posts that I am particularly interested in, as I mentioned in the previous topic.

But as I gradually deepened my understanding of the forum, my enthusiasm for bitcoin discussion diminished.

Do we need to make any changes? In other words, I have observed that the moderator has locked a large number of posts. Is the moderator cleaning up and rectifying this section?

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / My first bitcoin shopping on: August 12, 2021, 08:37:52 AM
I want to fully record my first Bitcoin shopping experience

About a month or so, I joined the Bitcointalk.

At the beginning, I only acted in the Bitcoin sector and the Beginners & Help sector.

One day, I read the post as usual. And I found this post by accident:[Merit] Hey Bitcoiners! Can You Send Encrypted Messages?I have to say that this really sparked my interest. What a cool thing to send encrypted messages. After 3 attempts, I finally sent the encrypted message to OgNasty correctly.(This encrypted message task made me know the name OgNasty for the first time.)

Then I learned from Og’s My 10 Year Bitcointalk Anniversary that he has an online store.Since this is my first time shopping with Bitcoin. I ended up with the cheapest item in his store, a T-shirt.

But due to a mistake in my operation, I forgot to fill in my contact information.Fortunately, Og sent me an email, I sent him the correct address.

A month later, I received a call from the courier. I was curious at the time because I had not bought anything recently (I have forgotten that I bought this T-shirt 1 month ago.)
Really surprised when I got the package.

This is my T-shirt, there are OgNasty stickers and postcards in the package.

This is a shopping experience full of surprises, and also my first Bitcoin shopping experience. This t-shirt is cool!

edit:kryptqnick asked some interesting questions, these questions will make this topic more complete, so I plan to add them to my topic.
how much was the transaction fee?were there any additional fees from the store?
transaction fee: 0.0002412BTC.
T-shirt: 0.0004
Courier fees:0.0007
Quote
Was it a payment method (like BitPay) or was it a BTC address to transfer BTC to?
Transfer bitcoin directly to his Bitcoin address, without using any third-party platform.

Quote
Was the price fixed in BTC or in USD, and did you win or lose due to volatility?
The price of T-shirts is fixed at 0.0004 BTC, and the price of international express delivery is fixed at 0.0007 BTC.In other words, this store is priced in bitcoin, has nothing to do with the dollar.

If you want to convert it into U.S. dollars, obviously I am profitable. Because the price of btc a month ago was lower than it is now

Quote
Personal experience like yours is valuable and useful to motivate others.
I am enjoying this Bitcoin shopping, this T-shirt means a lot to me. Cheesy

Quote
I'm surprised that you decided to use Bitcoin as money so soon after getting on the forum, as most new people are only here to get rich.
This may have something to do with my own personality, I enjoy trying new things.

3  Other / Beginners & Help / Reading is more important than replying on: August 09, 2021, 10:03:08 AM
Last month, I was addicted to bitcointalk. I kept posting 5-7 articles every day. A lot of time on the forum every day.

Initially, my goal was to become a Hero Member/Legend Member as soon as possible.I even asked the stupid question of whether merit can be bought or sold.

After that, I get merit as much as possible according to my goal, such as
1.Participate in some reward topics
[Merit] Help newbies and those who have a little left to the next rank
[Merit] Hey Bitcoiners! Can You Send Encrypted Messages?

2.Publish some knowledge I just learned to get merit, even though I didn’t fully understand it myself
Asymmetric encryption(signature)--DSA(A novice explanation)
Asymmetric encryption--RSA(A novice explanation)
It may be difficult to understand this knowledge without programming skills. I just published this knowledge simply by performing mathematical calculations.

As I read more and more posts in bitcointalk, the more I feel that I know very little and the more knowledge I need to learn.

In the past month, I spent 8 days and 10 hours on the forum. In other words, in addition to sleeping and eating, most of my time is spent on forums.I read a lot of posts, and sometimes I even check someone’s historical posts for a long time.

This is really interesting. This forum has a history of 10 years. There are a lot of stories and love, hate waiting for me to discover.I really like this time to look through old posts.

So what I want to tell newbies is, read more and then reply.

There are many questions you want to ask, most of which can be found in the previous topic.Only in this way can we better understand and integrate into the forum.

Taking this opportunity to thank those who have helped me and corrected my mistakes.

(Special thanks to DdmrDdmr's statistics website:Bitcointalk Merit Dashboard

I am very grateful to those who affirmed me:@The Pharmacist,@DdmrDdmr,@Ratimov,@LoyceV,@Welsh,@lovesmayfamilis etc.

At the same time, thanks to everyone in the forum for their dedication and contribution!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [Metamask teaching]Add different chains on metamask on: July 31, 2021, 10:56:10 AM
The reason I published this topic is that I donated to a project party yesterday. They provided the receiving address of bnb on the bsc chain, but when I transferred the money successfully, they said that they did not receive the bnb sent by me.

So I sent him the transaction hash, showing that the transfer has been successful.

When he sent me the screenshot, I guessed that he was checking the balance on the eth chain.

So I taught him how to add other chains to metamask. I think there may be other people who need this part of the knowledge, so I wrote this topic.

If you use metamask for the first time, you will find that there are 5 initial chains, 1 eth mainnet, and 5 eth testnets.

I used the search function and found this information about metamask:

5  Other / Meta / Check out RainbowKun's article to see if forums really need depth knowledge. on: July 29, 2021, 09:42:27 AM
A very touching thing happened on the forum yesterday. Hero member MV1986 has recommended RainbowKun's several posts in [Self-moderated] Report Unmerited Good Posts to Merit Source.

In the recommendation he gave RainbowKun a high rating, saying that he contributed to the effective discussion of Bitcointalk, and that he put in enough effort that he deserves more merit. But it is clear that RainbowKUN current merit is not matched by his current contributions to the forum.

Hi guys,

coincidentally came across this thread and one guy who I am also in touch with via PM because of all the research he does came to my mind as someone who really contributes to fruitful discussions on Bitcointalk. He also initiates discussions with a variety of topics, is super responsive and deserves a lot of merits if you ask me. He puts a lot of effort into his posts obviously and he isn't a once in a month poster. Sadly, we don't have very many newcomers who seek healthy and fruitful discussions about the core characteristics of Bitcoin as a higher order global system. I hope you give him some credit for his efforts.

User: RainbowKun
Activity: 28
Merit: 17

Few selected posts:

Bitcoin and Keynes Plan
Take a look at the future of Bitcoin from the gold standard system
Is Bitcoin possible to build a new "Bretton Woods system
Do you think Bitcoin has matter property?
Why do many people call Bitcoin "digital gold"?
Do you know any game theory tucked inside Bitcoin?
Is the Bitcoin community a DAO?
Why can Bitcoin change human relations of production?

Thanks, cheers and enjoy the green candles! Wink

MV
Quoting myself here just to say a big thank you to you guys for sending all those merits to RainbowKun. He seriously deserves it and I can tell you he is planning on expanding his series of articles even further. I allow myself to quote a little part of his PM in which he also said thank you to me for recommending him to you guys.

"To be honest, my articles are not as popular in this forum as I originally thought. Many of them are purely philosophical thinking, and they are not the type that existing forum users like"

I think this is exactly what many of us complain about on this forum. This guy just came here to find like-minded thinkers or at least people who are open for deep and substantial discussions.

Again, nice to see this thread work as intended!

MV
When MV1986 recommended him, RainbowKun's merit at that time was 17. When I wrote this topic one day later, his merit increased to 66, which directly increased by 49 in just one day. This is a very proud achievement for both the old legend members and the forum novices.

Apparently, with the recommendation of MV1986, many old members recognized RainbowKun's article and generously awarded merit. This is a very moving thing. Bitcointalk members find good knowledge, recommend it to others, and gain recognition from more people.

loyceV gave away 12 in Bitcoin and Keynes Plan, and COOLCRYPTOVATOR gave away 8

But at the same time, I was wondering, do we really need some depth of knowledge in our forum?

RainbowKun is a rising star of BitcoinTalk.

I have been paying close attention to his articles, and I gave him his first merit. I just briefly read his article information, he posted 24 separate threads in 28 days in July, which is close to one per day. In addition, each of his articles is more than 500 words, which is an amazing output of creation, which also shows his contribution to our forum knowledge.

I read almost every one of his articles, though in many cases I didn't really understand what he was saying. The content of his article is very logical, and the content is basically around the deep thinking about bitcoin.

He always makes a point, then builds his argument based on that point, and finally comes to a conclusion. No matter whether his views or arguments are correct or not, he can always write out his thinking process, which inspires me.

For example
Do you know any game theory tucked inside Bitcoin?, he talked about the game theory knowledge contained in the Bitcoin network, and he talked about a lot of things THAT I hadn't thought about.

Bitcoin and Keynes Plan, he talked about the relationship between bitcoin and the Keynesian plan, which made me associate bitcoin with the Keynesian plan for the first time

Why do many people call Bitcoin "digital gold"?,he talks about why bitcoin is called "digital gold." We often hear that bitcoin is "digital gold". He summed up the similarities between bitcoin and gold, and also summed up the advantages of bitcoin over gold, pointing out that bitcoin will replace gold to become a new generation of world currency.

Each of his articles inspires me in a different way and makes me think more about bitcoin.

But, in fact, as MV1986 said, his article did not get the recognition it deserved. Before being recommended by MV1986, RainbowKun only got 17 Merit points, and some articles were not well read or responded to. This got me thinking, does bitcointalk really need some depth of knowledge? What kind of knowledge is most popular in our forum?

I'd like to take a simple poll, where you can write your real thoughts and discuss the topic further.

1. I have never read RainbowKun's articles, and I am not interested in his articles.
2. I often see RainbowKun's articles, but his articles are just word wall, which is hard to read.
3. The ideas in his articles are very original, but often difficult to understand.
4. The forum was flooded with so many low-quality articles that I had a hard time finding anything worthwhile.
5. I don't want to answer too complex questions, which will consume more energy.
6. I randomly read forum topics and reply to any post I see.

These are some of my thoughts on RainbowKun's article, and I hope more similar in-depth knowledge will appear on the forum. Although I don't understand a lot of knowledge at the moment, I will keep learning. Learn from heroes, legends and other great members and contribute more to the forum.

6  Economy / Economics / What are the difficulties with Amazon accepting Bitcoin payments? on: July 26, 2021, 08:35:05 AM
This may be a rumor,But does not hinder our discussion.
Amazon may soon allow users to pay in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin

The most important news today is Amazon’s focus on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and will accept Bitcoin payments at the end of the year.
Within a few hours of the news, the price of Bitcoin rose from 32,000 to 40,000.

So what difficulties will Amazon suffer from accepting Bitcoin?
1.btc must solve small retail transactions,it must also be a large number of small transactions.I don’t know which solution to use,Maybe the time node of accepting btc payment at the end of the year is to wait for Taproot to complete, maybe even plan to use the P2P trading model of centralized exchanges.

2.If Amazon wants to release its own cryptocurrency, it is likely to be suppressed by the United States. According to previous experience when Facebook planned to release libra, issuing its own cryptocurrency may be a restricted zone in the United States.(btw I feel the "richest man effect" continues)

3.Can U.S. regulators pass Amazon’s idea? They accepted Tesla's Bitcoin payment before. But, Amazon and Tesla are different. Tesla may have fewer customers and a single product. But Amazon’s customers are thousands of ordinary people.

Regardless of whether this goal can be achieved in the end, at least it is a good thing for the short-term or medium-term market.

The impact of this news on the market has the following points
1.When the news was just announced. It is now. This is a very clear good news, which directly increases the price of Bitcoin.

2.Will more companies accept Bitcoin payments in the future?

3.Companies really make Bitcoin payments a reality.

In short, such news is a good thing for Bitcoin.
So what do you think are the difficulties that need to be overcome in order for companies like Amazon to accept Bitcoin payments?

https://purse.io/shop
Although Amazon does not directly accept Bitcoin payments, it seems that you can purchase gift cards through Bitcoin.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What nft functions can you think of? on: July 23, 2021, 07:27:39 AM
I seem to have heard such a saying before:
Quote
The development stages of NFT can be roughly classified into the following 3 stages:
1.Art collection
2.Financial, data, and identity information NFTs will gradually occupy the mainstream of the market, and the proportion of artwork NFTs will decline.
3.Programmable and operable NFT will be the focus of NFT 3.0

Several nft usages I can think of:
1.Information storage:Such as bank passbook, ID card, passport,VIP card
2.Games:Game equipment, game characters
3.Patent:Make your own white paper etc. into nft

Can you tell me the usage of nft you think of?
8  Other / Beginners & Help / How to quote a locked post? on: July 22, 2021, 09:44:28 AM

When I reply , if I want to quote a person’s reply, I sometimes click the insert quote option to quickly reply to a person.
This citation will automatically enter the author information and time information

Code:
Quote from: somebody on June 05, 2021, 09:41:54 PM
When quoting a person's words, there will be the poster's information and posting time in front of the quotation.

Code:
[quote author=somebody link=topic=0000000.msg57167268#msg57167268 date=1622929314]
Its original code is like this.Contains the author's uid、time、post uid

My problem is when I want to quote a locked post, how do I edit the author information and posting time of a post?(I can’t use the insert quote function, so I can’t enter the time and author information)
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Does bounty really make money?/Who are participating in the bounty? on: July 17, 2021, 06:52:32 AM
I'm thinking about the purpose of the bounty.

I have a simple understanding of the bounty program a few days ago. When the users who participate in the bounty have completed some tasks, the project team will send them some tokens.

These tasks are generally to help project publicity, such as helping the project to repost Twitter, posting about the project on reddit, using project signatures, etc. Of course, some will also publish a translation bounty task.

But according to my observation, most of the people participating in the bounty program are bountyhunter, and their twitter/facebook/telegram etc. friends are also their account. I don’t think the bounty task can have a promotional effect.

They generally have a lot of activity, but almost no merit

Even if there have merits, it is an account before 2018. The previous accounts automatically get merits

They have dozens or even hundreds of pages of responses,90% of the response content is about the participation and completion of the bounty. But they haven't posted a post

This is their twitter concern

Most of their fans have the word followback

So I think that the promotional effect of the project’s bounty is very small. The amount of tokens obtained by normal participants is not worth our time to participate.Unless there are many accounts together with special methods to participate(Even many projects don’t send bounty tokens at all), you can get considerable profits.

When the bounty ends, the project party only gets a large number of coin holding addresses

10  Other / Meta / I'm very curious if there is a similar Fraternities in this community on: July 16, 2021, 02:14:45 AM
As the number of people in the forum increases, it may be inevitable that some small groups (groups of like-minded people) will form.

I want to ask if there is such a group in Bitcointalk to join.

My explanation of this post, about being questioned as plagiarism
  • Introduction
https://www.programmersought.com/article/7824960278
Thanks to ICopress for pointing out this link. This sentence is about the history of DSA.archive
Quote
In August 1991, NIST (Nation Institute of Standards and Technology) proposed a digital signature algorithm (DSA) for use in their digital signature standard (DSS)
Code:
DSA is an algorithm, and DSS is a standard. The standard uses algorithms, algorithms are part of the standard.
But NIST’s announcement has caused a lot of condemnation, and these condemnations are more political than academic. Many large software companies that have obtained the RSA algorithm patent license have also against DSS. They have invested a lot of money to implement the RSA algorithm. Of course, they do not want these funds to be lost in vain.

This is a more advanced method of verification, not only public key, private key, but also digital signature. The private key is encrypted to generate a digital signature, and the public key verifies the data and signature. If the data and the signature do not match, the verification fails. The function of digital signature is to verify that data is not modified during transmission. Digital signature is an upgrade of one-way encryption.
  • Mathematical logic
Quote
(1).The public key y consists of 4 parameters
y :y= gx mod p
p:512~1024 bit prime number
q:160 bits and a factor that is relatively prime to p-1
g:g=h(p-1)/q mod p, where h is less than p-1,h(p-1)/q mod p> 1
The public key is (p, q, g, y)

(2).Private key x in DSA signature:
x:x<q

(3).Message digest h(m)

(4).The signature process in the DSA signature algorithm:
r:r (signature) = (gk mod p) mod q
s:s(signature) = (k-1 (H(m)+xr )) mod q
The signature is (m, r, s)

(5).The verification process in the DSA signature algorithm:
Verification: (m2, r2, s2)=(m, r, s)
v = (( gu1 × yu2 ) mod p ) mod q
w = s-1 mod q
u1 = (H(m)×w)mod q
u2 = ( r w ) mod q

If v=r, the signature is verified

12  Other / Off-topic / How long do you spend on bitcointalk every day? on: July 10, 2021, 01:42:47 AM
I admit that I am a bit addicted to bitcointalk recently, and I have spent a lot of energy on bitcointalk in recent days.

I usually read many posts before reply,

I read a lot of old posts about legends and heroes.

What surprises me is that they reply to more than 10 posts per day on average,I tried to do this too, for about a week.I find this is too hard. There is too much knowledge that I don’t know in the forum. I have to spend 30 minutes to learn before replying to a post.

So now I want to do a simple survey, how long do you spend in the forum every day?

Of course, if there is a way to directly count the background data, please let me know. I am willing to take the time to count.Thanks.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Asymmetric encryption--RSA(A novice explanation) on: July 08, 2021, 02:06:44 AM
First of all, let’s briefly introduce what asymmetric encryption is composed of.
  • information:Information that needs to be encrypted
  • Public key: an encrypted password that everyone can know
  • Private key: an absolute password that only the party who needs to decrypt knows
  • Encryption algorithm: how these passwords interact with the information that needs to be transmitted
  • Ciphertext:Secret information after the interaction of information and password

A more detailed explanation can be obtained from here
Asymmetric Encryption Vs. Symmetric Encryption!

Below I will explain the working mechanism of RSA

Quote
(1) Data sent: Input

(2) Encryption method F1:Inpute/N——Remainder C;

(3) Data transmitted: C

(4) Encryption password: e

(5) Decryption method F2: C d/N——Remainder output

(6) Decryption password: d

(7) Obtain information: output

(Cool The key core: Obviously the most important thing above is how e, d and N come from:
1) Choose two prime numbers (prime numbers), P and Q, P*Q=N
2) y=(P-1)*(Q-1)
3) Choose a number e,   e∈(1,y), e ⊥ y
4) Calculate a number d; d = (y*k+1)/e; where k is any integer,
the purpose is to make d an integer (obviously as long as there is a lot of k,
also You can get a lot of d that meet the conditions, we only need to take one of them!)

The above is the whole content of RSA. In fact, it is relatively uncomplicated and easy to understand.

Almost all of our current banking systems, radio frequency card encryption systems are based on this principle.

The security of RAS lies in how a large enough number can decompose prime factors. As above, even if you crack C, you also know N. However, if you can’t figure out which two numbers (P and Q) N is calculated from, , y also cannot be known, and d cannot be solved naturally.

Sorry I am not a native English speaker, if I use any words wrong, please correct me, thank you.
The topic data comes from this article:Principles and examples of RSA and DSA algorithms
14  Other / Meta / Is it necessary to set up a separate TOKEN sub-section on: July 03, 2021, 09:42:31 AM
I admit that I am an ICOer, I have never made any comments in the ANN section, but I spend part of my time every day to look for good projects in the ANN section of bitcointalk, and participate in some presales and private sale. Grin

The question I want to raise now is, is it really necessary to set up a TOKEN option separately?

In my opinion, there is no difference between the sub-section and the mother section. They are all made up of a large number of ANNs, (like looking for a small amount of gold in the sand)

Now it’s different from before. Due to the emergence of a large number of ICOs and IDO platforms, the number and quality of Bitcointalk’s ANN projects have decreased.

I totally accept that we can appreciate the ANN of those magnificent projects in the past,I want to think about the difference between the mother board and the child board. The items in the token are simple but the items in the ANN are larger?

if you are also an ICOer, it is a pleasure to be friends with you.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is Bitcoin decentralized? on: July 03, 2021, 08:21:36 AM
Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin wrote an medium trying to explain the concept of "decentralization".

He discussed in three dimensions from the perspective of software. And this three-dimensional dimension is also three rulers for judging whether a thing is "decentralized":

Code:

Architectural (de)centralization — how many physical computers is a system made up of? How many of those computers can it tolerate breaking down at any single time?

Political (de)centralization — how many individuals or organizations ultimately control the computers that the system is made up of?

Logical (de)centralization— does the interface and data structures that the system presents and maintains look more like a single

This is an article written by vitalik in 2017. I went to the field of cryptocurrency in half a year and began to gradually understand what is decentralization, what is anonymity, and what is a hash function. Bitcoin is indeed a magical thing and There are still many areas worth exploring.

Of course, as usual. I searched the keyword “Three types of Decentralization” in the bitcoin Discussion section to make sure that no one has sent the same content before.

Okay, then I will discuss the degree of decentralization of Bitcoin from the above 3 aspects(I only discuss the first two points, I am currently unable to discuss the third point).

  • Architectural (de)centralization — the right of accounting is scattered on several nodes in the Bitcoin network, rather than relying on certain centralized servers. Less than 51% of node failures will still not affect the operation of the Bitcoin system.

When Satoshi  designed Bitcoin, his initial assumption was that 1 CPU and 1 computing power. Everyone can participate in mining as long as they have a computer. Satoshi Nakamoto used his computer to mine the genesis block of Bitcoin and received 50 btc rewards. But as the value of Bitcoin was recognized, starting with 10,000 Bitcoins to exchange for $25 pizza coupons, the price of Bitcoin continued to rise. The market believes that it is profitable, a large amount of new computing power is pouring into Bitcoin mining, and the mining competition has become increasingly fierce.

When the computing power of the entire network is increased to a single node or a small number of nodes cannot obtain block rewards in the Bitcoin network, some people are encouraged to develop a method that can combine a small amount of computing power to jointly operate mining, using this method The connected nodes form a mining pool to keep warm.

from:btc.com

It is checked and balanced by the upgrade voting logic of the Bitcoin program. When there is a bug in the Bitcoin program or new features need to be added, the Bitcoin core development group , will propose a solution.
The node is marked by the block header. Voting is conducted, and only miners (mining pools) are able to mark votes at the block header. From here we can draw four conclusions:

1Bitcoin program fixing bugs or modifying the protocol is determined by the Core development team
2Whether the Bitcoin program update takes effect is determined by the mining pool.
3You don’t have the right to vote if you own Bitcoin.
4Core development team and miners can jointly modify the program.

  • Political (de)centralization — major changes to the Bitcoin program require nodes to vote before they are allowed to take effect.

Going back to the Bitcoin expansion problem, the mining pool and the Core development team battled wits, and a series of expansion plans were not successfully implemented.
The biggest reason here is that the collaboration between the mining pool and the Core development team cannot reach a consensus, and each is considering its own profit.
But the user who suffers is the user who has no right to participate, only the right to use it.(Of course, ordinary users themselves can also compete for computing power with major mines. but...you know ) A large number of transactions are blocked, transactions have not been confirmed for a long time, and transaction fees have increased.

In my opinion, Bitcoin is not completely decentralized. But it is still the most important step in the decentralization process.

  • Logical (de)centralization
I am not qualified to comment on this, I will comment when I learn more

I also have many functions that need help from the veterans,This is very useful to me, thank you all! ! !

I know the question I am asking is the most basic.

But I really want to understand the function of every option in the Bitcoin forum.

Pray everyone will not laugh at me because of my idiot question.

Below I have listed all the functions of the Bitcoin forum text editor. There are many options that are easy to understand, but many of them are more complicated.

If you have the patience to tell me what to do, thank you very much!!!

17  Other / Meta / Why does the signature look a bit weird? on: June 30, 2021, 12:48:05 PM
I have checked a lot of signatures in the forum, but they are very strange in shape!
Is it because of my resolution or the signature itself?
When I zoomed in and out of the webpage, the characteristics of the signature changed,When I reduced the page to 50%, I saw all parts of the signature.
I want to ask everyone, what is the correct way to check the signature?
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Craig Wright is real Satoshi? No way! on: June 29, 2021, 01:39:10 AM
I think this is a big joke,https://u.today/craig-wright-wins-bitcoin-copyright-lawsuit-against-pseudonymous-developer

Bitcoin.org, a prominent website that supports the development of the leading cryptocurrency, will have to remove all references to the Bitcoin white paper in the U.K. following the court’s decision.

Cobra, a pseudonymous Bitcoin developer behind the project, chose not to reveal his identity to defend himself in front of the court. Hence, a default judgement was given to Wright.

Apart from taking down the flagship cryptocurrency’s founding document, Cobra will also have to pay £35,000 ($48,655) in legal fees.

In January, lawyers representing nChain’s chief scientist demanded that Bitcoin.org and Bitcoincore.org remove the white paper due to alleged copyright infringement.

Their letters sparked a major outcry within the cryptocurrency community, with companies and even governments moving to publish the copies of Bitcoin’s white paper on their websites in a rebuke to Wright.

I even think this thing is a means of BSV marketing.

If this thing is true, then it proves that bsv is the real Bitcoin,

Please log in  your bitcointalk account,Then verify your identity, otherwise I won’t believe you are Satoshi!

19  Other / Meta / Where should i start? on: June 09, 2021, 02:01:36 AM
As a newcomer to the community, I would like to ask about the levels of bitcointalk and the functions of each level.
I understand that merit needs to be rewarded by others. Do I have other channels to obtain merit?
I saw a few posts with new ideas ,I like them and I want to give them merits. Can I use btc to buy merits?
