Basically, all standard blockchain raffle rules apply (with a few corrections).

Twice daily — once in the morning and again in the evening — I will announce the start of a new daily raffle. The first 16 forum members to request a ticket will receive one free ticket to that daily raffle. After all 16 tickets are claimed, I will choose a future block number to decide the winner. The last character of that block hash will be the winner, and his or her prize will be one free ticket to the Mega Raffle for a chance to win the Grand Prize.

Free daily raffles will be announced twice daily, based on EST (New York). The official start time of each free daily raffle will be announced with a phrase similar to “Free daily raffle #3 starts now!”

Players must have accounts which are at least 30 days old.  

Players must wait until the start of each free daily raffle is officially announced BEFORE requesting a free ticket. All requests posted before the official starting announcement will be invalid.

Free tickets will be assigned in the order that they are requested. For example, the first person to request a free ticket will receive ticket “0” for that free daily raffle. The next person will receive ticket “1” (and so on and so forth) until the final ticket “f” is claimed by the 16th and final player.

Players may win as many free daily raffles as good luck will allow. Each win will give them one ticket to the Mega Raffle.

Due to a national holiday, there will be no free daily raffles on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 28).

Starting in 2020, our classic Copper Collection will increase in size from 23mm to a slightly larger 25mm. This size change gives us a larger palette for more intricate designs. Plus, it’s easier to apply our custom holographic security stickers to your beloved DIY Mini Physicals (our physical bitcoins). In addition, the metal content is also changing from the previous 97% copper to a brilliant .999 FINE COPPER! And to add a tasty cherry on top of all this coppery goodness, our 2020 Copper Collection will be minted by the very same mint that produces our stellar Prescious Metals Collections! (And that means many more MS68 grades and above!)

While these changes do increase our production costs significantly, we plan to continue offering our little coins at the same low prices as always.

To help offset our increased production costs, we are auctioning seven (7) individual sample coins that we had minted in advance of next year’s release. These sample coins were minted in the same 25mm size and .999 FINE COPPER purity as our upcoming 2020 Copper Collection. They feature the double-sided SILVER EAGLE designs from our 2019 Precious Metals Collection — both the Right-Facing Eagle and the rarer Left-Facing Eagle. (We already had those dies in the 25mm sizes, so naturally we used them for these samples.)

Only ten (10) of these sample coins were ever minted, so they are quite rare. The remaining three (3) are currently being used for patina and packaging experiments.

NOTE: Once again, these sample coins are made from .999 FINE COPPER. They are NOT made from 1/4 OZ SILVER as stamped on the coins.

Welcome to our 3rd Annual Bitcoin Penny™ Daddy-Daughter Doodle Project!

Our first Daddy-Daughter Doodle Project (DDDP) began two summers ago as a super fun bonding experience with my youngest daughter. She and I co-doodled a total of ten (10) special doodles, and we auctioned them off with 100% of all proceeds going to her for new art supplies, art classes, and/or whatever art stuffs that might help further her dream of becoming a professional artist. Welcome to another Bitcoin Penny™ Commemorative Coins auction!

One of our favorite traditions here at The Bitcoin Penny Company is to begin our official minting season with the production of eight (8 ) special proof coins. These eight special proof coins include four (4) rare, double-headed Bitcoin Penny™ Commemorative Coins and four (4) equally rare, double-tailed Bitcoin Penny™ Commemorative Coins.

These 2019 special double-headed (DH) coins showcase both front designs on a single coin, featuring both the new AMD mint mark and the limited edition SN signature script mint mark below the 2019 date, while the double-tailed (DT) coins showcase both reverse designs on a single coin, featuring both the standard MINTED IN USA as well as the limited edition S. Nakamoto signature script.

Only four (4) of these 2019 special proof sets were (and ever will be) minted, so they are quite rare. However, only THREE (3) complete sets will be available for public auction. The last set will be kept in our archives.

This auction is for one COMPLETE SET of these special DH/DT proof coins, including one (1) double-headed 2019 Bitcoin Penny™ Commemorative Coin and one (1) double-tailed 2019 Bitcoin Penny™ Commemorative Coin as described above.

The Rooster Pack was autographed in-person by Bobby Lee at the 2018 Crypto World Con: Vegas. A few of us lucky forum members were treated to a VERY nice (and expensive) dinner by Bobby Lee while at the Vegas conference. As a special gift at the dinner, Bobby presented each of us with a white 1K bits BTCC chip, which I believe he mentioned was a prototype chip. The chip comes in the white signed paper envelope as shown in the photos below.

This auction is for a physical copy of the Wired Magazine issue from August 1996 with the cover article title “Nanobucks: Big Deal or Pocket Change?”

The six-page article is actually titled “The Buck Starts Here,” and you can find it beginning on page 133.

While the article was inspired by the idea of micro-transactions in a future where it may be commonplace to make small online (nano) purchases, the article is chiefly about the complex payment technology which would make that possible, specifically describing cryptographic digital currency (or ecash). In other words, this article is about the early forms of BITCOIN!
