1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Passive income on: April 19, 2021, 05:02:39 PM
What are some of the best ways to earn passive income right now? I was thinking about staking $CAKE, just staking it and not using liquidity farms. But not sure how profitable that would be, compared to some other methods. I have a 5000$ capital.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Decent signature campaigns? on: February 21, 2020, 08:50:34 AM
I would like to know if there are any decent signature campaigns running? I'm aware of the ones that pay with BTC, I want something that pays with altcoins, preferably not an ICO though, but an alt that has been running for sometime.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Stablecoins with HW support? on: May 21, 2019, 07:48:23 AM
Even with the big user base that these coins have, it seems like secure options to store these coins are nowhere to find so most of people store them in exchanges.

Is anyone aware of any Stablecoin that can easily be stored in an open source wallet (desktop/Android) or HW wallet?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Ethereum wallets for Android on: May 19, 2019, 04:25:11 PM
I'm looking for something secure and safe, which means preferably open source. I managed to found MEWConnect which is basically the phone version for Myetherwallet. Are there any other options that I should consider?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Debit card coins? on: May 19, 2019, 03:54:34 PM
I know there are TenX and Monaco out there, but I'm not sure how profitable are they to hold them and earn from the fees? (If that's in action).

I'm not interested in the cards themselves as I know most of them failed to go worldwide, but mostly in holding the coin to gain fees because apparently, that's the model these cards use. Would appreciate If you could list some other projects out there as well.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / There is no Flippening on: May 15, 2019, 09:27:09 AM
I've seen a few posts the last few hours where people are saying that people are switching to ETH and that's why it's increasing right now while BTC is declining a bit.

Just wanted to give my opinion about this matter, BTC and ETH are not meant to be for the same purpose to start with, one is meant to build applications on and the other is a digital cash system. Therefore, a flippening is not going to happen.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Jaxx Liberty on: May 14, 2019, 06:25:27 AM
I know there are plenty of other multicoin wallets options out there like Coinomi but have there been some critical issues with Jaxx? I'm no longer spotting threads about the wallet on the forums as If no one is using it anymore.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Dump the alts on: May 12, 2019, 02:34:21 PM
I'm not here to spread FUD before you start throwing accusations at me. I'm just saying though, Bitcoin is increasing in price, and it's probably a very wise idea to sell your coins and hold BTC at this point. I'm however not referring to alts like ETH, Tezos, LTC and the other solid ones out there. I'm mostly referring to the projects that have not followed the roadmap and didn't manage to deliver and let's be honest, there are plenty. Probably anything not in the top 15 in CoinMarketcap is not worth investing it (with few exceptions).

And apparently, there is some confusion within the community about price increases in CoinMarketCap and people think that everything is going up right now, which is not the case. The green numbers you're seeing in the price page don't represent much. If you click on the coin though, you'll see the price in Satoshi... that's the one that should be increasing.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Omni tokens and SegWit on: May 08, 2019, 03:02:39 PM
I've never heard of cases where people store Omni tokens such as MAID or USDT into SegWit addresses (specifically, the ones starting with bc1). Is it possible?

If yes, how can one spend the funds afterward? I was thinking about storing an amount of USDT in an Electrum address (bc1) and then spend them using Omniwallet, but I don't think segwit is supported there yet.
10  Economy / Service Discussion / Purse.io privacy on: May 05, 2019, 04:53:13 PM
For those who used the website before. How private our information's are? To be more specific, the addresses.

Whenever I want to buy an item, do I need to communicate on live chat with the seller, and give him my address or it has to be in my profile? In other words, does the website know about it or only the person I'm dealing with?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining VEIL on: May 05, 2019, 04:08:39 PM
I was looking at some POS coins and some people suggested VEIL (POS/POW), it's apparently a new privacy-based coin.

I was originally interested in staking but does anyone know how profitable is it to mine it? I have my computer online most of the time (1080 Ti - i7-7700k) and I was wondering If I could mine using that since it's a new coin and probably the difficulty is not that much.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / 10,000$ - Where to invest? on: May 04, 2019, 02:05:08 PM
I'm going to make this thread self-moderated because I know how spammy the threads with my kind of question could get.

I currently have about 10,000$ in holdings (BTC). I was wondering If someone could suggest what I could do to make them grow?

Take into consideration that I'm not interested in any type of interest based investment (MLM, Ponzi schemes, etc.) and I'm also not experienced with trading.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Alts worth staking on: May 03, 2019, 02:02:26 PM
I was looking stakingrewards.com and I'm honestly not familiar with POS coins so I was hoping someone could suggest something to use.

I thought about IOST or Livepeer but not sure. I would prefer something that doesn't require that much of an investment to start.
14  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Trezor used addresses on: May 02, 2019, 06:52:30 PM
I wanted to claim some forked coins (bitcoin) and I found this website where you could basically paste your address and it will tell you the coins that it contains and how much they're worth but I'm using a Trezor and I can't seem to find a way to get my addresses that received funds at a certain point, or that contains bitcoins at this moment, at least not without going through them one by one in the transactions list and check them in blockchain.info or a similar site.
15  Economy / Service Discussion / Gunbot reviews on: May 01, 2019, 04:03:11 PM
I want some reviews from people who used Gunbot. Are these bots designed to make you profit regardless of your expertise in your trading or you must have a certain level?

Capital is not a problem as I have enough money to start trading but I'm just not sure If it's worth it or not. I always thought that these bots are nothing unless you know you're doing but apparently, some people are trying to show otherwise, so I would like to hear from those who tried the BOT.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitcoin forks on: May 01, 2019, 02:12:51 PM
I wasn't around the crypto scene for some time. I was wondering If there are some forks that I missed and that are worth claiming?

I only claimed BTG and BCH and sold them instantly back in the day, are there are in others that are preferably easy to get access to and to exchange (without KYC).
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Don't follow the hype on: May 01, 2019, 12:43:18 PM
I've been here for years and I can say that following the hype never works for investors, this is simply an advise.

Few examples: Synereo, Savedroid, Electroneum.

Even though these projects managed to get the money they needed and much more, they still didn't manage to deliver what they promised. Or in some cases, not even get listed in decent exchanges or give ROI back.

Cryptocurrencies are not going anywhere and there will be more and more ICOs until these things get regulated (maybe years from now). So If you're an investor and you don't want to stupidly lose your money in the process, I highly suggest everyone to start researching about the projects he's interested in instead of taking his decisions based on Tweets from McAfee, press releases, scores in Icobench, etc.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are IEO's bad? on: April 30, 2019, 03:45:10 PM
My understanding for IEOs is basically instead of project handling raising funds etc. It will be for an exchange to do so.

An IEO hosted by Yobit or Binance can clearly not be compared. In other words, the exchange gives more credibility to the project regardless of whether it's worth it or not.

Am I the only one who thinks this is actually a bad thing and make people focus on the exchange hosting rather than the actual project and what the team is offering etc.?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Running MEW locally on: April 30, 2019, 11:11:21 AM
Has anyone tried to run Myetherwallet locally before? I want to know how easy the procedure is and whether it's as simple as downloading the source code from Github and running it in your browser? Also, is it possible to configure it to connect to your own node instead of using Etherscan.io or something else?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [WTS] Xera tokens (cheaper than ICO) on: April 27, 2019, 01:57:16 PM
I'm not advertising it as anything but It's an exchange token and we all know how these tokens are solid when it comes to the price, BNB is an example for that.

The exchange will be launching soon. The ICO price was 0.5 USD per Token. I'm letting them go at 0.4 USD.
