I posted this thread in early 2015 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=925649 - titled 'Monero under 25 cents? What the hell are you waiting for?' For some reason it got locked which is a mystery in itself but hey I respect that. Now I'm posting this thread for the discussions started in that very thread to continue. If you were around at the time did you buy some XMR for yourself and lock it away? I mean 1000 XMR for $250 wasn't so much. Anyone could have dropped some into it and it absolutely made sense at the time as it does today to use that coin The coin is simply such a good one |

It's the only real reason BCC exists.
so easy but seems like I didn't understand it before! actually I think this is an ingenious idea in the first place.
It's also why they told everyone not to keep your BTC on exchange. Because the Bitcoin Cash devs and their friends did just that.
Selling 1 BCC for 0.44 BTC --> more BTC --> more CASH. It's an ingenious idea tbh, and it worked! Millions were made. Millions are still made, even at 0.1!

Have you ever thought about quitting this completely? My friend just bought some Monero and BTC and he said NO! Screw the altcoin guys! I'll work and relax and check back yearly. Cool dude. Needless to say he made more than 90% of daily traders in the year

Bitcoin's price is irrelevant for its functionality
We can do anything Bitcoin does regardless of the price being $10000 or $0.001 / BTC
I held n hold a lot of Bitcoin and I like the price and I like the price to increase

I'm a strong believer in the SMF Forum theme that we have here on Bitcointalk.org now because I think it is time proven, classic, and ingenious.
It should not be changed.

It's ok but please don't ever say you believe in decentralized crypto for the people.
If you do you certainly don't buy that ICO and support the folks from the banks.
Yes, 1-2% of ICO project teams may be genuinely interested in the roots of crypto. at least 98-99% r not.
