1  Economy / Reputation / A new kind of trust farmers? on: December 28, 2015, 04:24:43 AM
Does anyone get the feeling that the people who keep taking micro loans from the Lending section over and over and over are just farming trust? They are mostly the people who create the threads instead of posting something in the countless loan threads - makes me think that they're looking for new loaners to get positive feedback from. It's continually small loans like 0.1BTC, but positive reputation keeps piling up - sometimes even a DT1/2 person sends them a loan feedback.

I'm not trying to point out everyone who creates a thread in the loaning section - just the people who take loans out continuously every couple of weeks without real reasons - often things like "buying gifts" or "renewing a miner"... etc.
2  Other / New forum software / Report history on: December 27, 2015, 11:58:29 PM
It'd be nice to have a list of reports and if the reports were marked correctly or not.

I know that people like Vod have massive report lists so it'd be fine if the list was limited to the 100/50/10/25/etc. recently reported posts.
3  Economy / Services / [WTK] Buy/Sell marketplace script on: December 21, 2015, 03:06:40 AM
Hi everyone!

I'd like to get a price quote on what a buy/sell script (similar to PayIvy, slut.io, etc.) where a seller can create products, link his buyers to the product listing, and get paid through whatever currency he selected.

The idea is still in development and I just want to get a price quote from someone who'd be willing to work with me - it might fall through. Feel free to send a PM over my way for some shaky details.

Thank you, and regards!
4  Other / Meta / Is this a new feature or have I been missing this the whole time? on: December 12, 2015, 12:09:29 AM
I'm not sure if it's me actively looking for possibly new features, but I just discovered an edit icon on the right of all my posts. When clicked, it opens up some "quick edit" field. Is this one of the features implemented in the forum update a few hours ago, or have I been missing this nifty feature this whole time?
5  Economy / Currency exchange / 1:1 PayPal to Bitcoin on: December 11, 2015, 01:32:29 PM
I have $25 in PayPal that I'd like to trade to bitcoin. 1:1 Preev rates. Unless I trust you, you'll have to go first/use escrow.

LMK.
6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Loan scammer on: December 11, 2015, 02:47:43 AM
This user has defaulted on a loan and doesn't have any -reps from DT members. Can anyone on DT tag him so that it'll show up as red for most people?

ranochigo gave him this loan.

8  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] hostbyte.co on: November 30, 2015, 12:47:23 AM
I'm selling hostbyte.co. It's a great domain name for any hosting company; web hosting, server hosting, wallet hosting, file hosting, Minecraft hosting, game server hosting, etc. I'll push the domain to you via Namecheap (it's free).

Expiration: November 2nd, 2016.

Send me offers.
9  Economy / Auctions / BitFall.co | Fully functional faucet | Referral banners | Great design on: November 26, 2015, 08:57:38 PM
Today, I'm auctioning off my previous faucet, BitFall.co. During its run, it had almost 3K users and 7.3K+ payouts. I had installed Google Analytics to it (stats) and you can check its stats.

I think the two most defining features that you'll get with BitFall is the design and the two referral banners that will come with it. The design uses a custom Bootstrap theme (Lumen by Bootswatch) and you can change the theme any time you'd like by changing up the CSS files. Feel free to change up the design itself, too. The site is a clean, beautiful theme that many users have said is likable. It's easy to navigate and the CAPTCHA is FunCaptcha, which is the CAPTCHA that typically doesn't get botted often. (Won't get into more details on that because it's up to you on what you want to use.) It has a table of possible rewards (instead of the traditional boring rewards list by FaucetBOX - however, you'll need to go into the code and edit it. It won't update with the settings). It has four advertisement slots; feel free to remove or add slots. There's a lot more to the design that I've taken the time to do!

Referral banners - they aren't spectacular by any means but IMHO, they're better than most faucets. You won't need to create any.

Here they are.

I've decided to auction it off because I've lost the energy to operate it - it's gone to other projects of mine. I don't want to waste the potential and work I've put into the design and all, so I've decided to auction it to someone who seems like he'd operate it well.

Auction details

Starting bid: 0.01BTC
Bid increments: 0.005BTC
BIN: 0.2BTC

Hidden reserve price. If it doesn't reach it then I'll just let this auction fall through.

Looking for a very quick BTC to PayPal. I have 0.13BTC up for exchange, so not a lot; I'm looking for $45 from PayPal, but it's negotiable.

Thanks; send me a PM or just drop a reply here.
12  Economy / Scam Accusations / Trying to trick a signature campaign on: November 18, 2015, 10:20:32 PM

He's pretending that the sig code is in the signature so that he can get earnings without having the signature. I think it's pretty obvious that he knows exactly what he's doing; why else would be put the code a couple of lines below his application?

The last bitcoin to PayPal trade I've posted was a couple of months ago, I think.

Here's a specific part I want you guys to see, in case you skipped over the majority over the PM (wouldn't blame you!):

my PayPal funds 100% NON credit card or bank deposits but only and only from PayPal balance so never possible any charge backs whatsoever.

For those of you who know how PayPal works, it's possible to chargeback anything if it's related to bitcoin if you were buying bitcoin with PayPal.

Just a heads up to those who might have been sent this PM from this user as well; avoid him at all costs.

Check this guy out. Most of his recent posts are composed of 3 words and an emoticon. Surely 777Coin isn't paying for those posts...?

This guy is a picture of the average signature spammer.
15  Economy / Micro Earnings / [ANN][CLOSED] BitFall.co | Clean Design | Referral banners! on: October 19, 2015, 10:11:15 PM
BitFall is temporarily closed.

Yes, I know; I'm really sorry. I am focusing on a different project ATM, but BitFall will almost definitely come back, soon.

Sorry again guys.

BitFall.co - Free Bitcoin Faucet - click me!

With a clean, non-intrusive design and definitely no popups! Smiley

As of right now, we're offering 400, 444, or 500 satoshi rewards every 360 minutes (along with a 20% referral bonus). Keep an eye out for reward boosts (they're definitely coming)!

Giveaway

10,000 satoshi giveaway coming soon! (Really soon.) Update: I'm having some trouble brainstorming how to do it, so it may come a bit later.

16  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] Huge YT Channel on: October 19, 2015, 08:23:22 PM
I have a YouTube channel that I am selling. It has 20M+ total views and 23K+ subscribers. It is in good standing in all aspects.

I was previously selling it to another member, but he has not been responding for a couple of days.

Escrow is mandatory. I prefer SebastianJu, but any reputable member should suffice.
17  Economy / Micro Earnings / [Q] What do you like to see in faucets? on: October 16, 2015, 12:18:54 AM
I'm currently designing a faucet, and I'm pretty much in the final stages now. However, I'd like to know what you guys would like to see in my faucet, or in any faucet in general.

Here are some examples you might want to consider.

What CAPTCHA/anti-bot do you prefer? I'm currently using AreYouAHuman since I personally thought it was the one that was the least boring to do.

What kind of rewards to ads ratio do you like? I currently have rewards all over 1000+ satoshi, and I have 3 advertisements. Do you guys think I should decrease/increase any of them?

How long should the reward times be? Obviously, if the time decreases then the rewards will decrease as well.

Give me other feedback as well; I want to make this upcoming faucet customized to what you guys would like.
18  Economy / Micro Earnings / What is the best advertising platform for faucets? on: October 15, 2015, 01:28:49 AM
I've been thinking about creating a faucet, but since Google AdSense seems to revoke most faucet sites to add ads onto, I've been looking into other advertising platforms. I've heard of MellowAds and AdBit; created accounts on both. The only thing I dislike about AdBit is that you are basically wasting impressions/clicks until you get an advertiser. I haven't heard of the payouts for MellowAds, so I'm a bit hesitant to use them.

Is there any other advertising platform for faucets you can recommend to me? I would like to know payout rates for them as well if you can include it.
19  Other / Meta / Signature Campaign section? on: October 12, 2015, 07:05:30 PM
I am tired of having to wade through countless signature campaign threads in the Services section; I would say the first couple pages would be roughly 60-80% signature campaign threads. The reason why this is bad is because those threads are constantly bumped by people joining, leaving, updates on payments, and/or updates on the signature campaign itself. People with personal services are constantly being pushed down by these signature campaigns, and, let's be honest, there are an absolute huge amount of them.

So what about if we created a signature campaign section? I can see maybe a few cons of this but personally, I think it's a good idea.

Opinions?

Edit: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1206905.msg12674501#msg12674501
20  Other / Meta / Does this thread belong in Off-Topic? on: October 10, 2015, 05:40:34 PM
I've been thinking about this for a little while.

Does the "Did you earn bitcoin today" thread even belong in Beginners/Help? I can't really find any ties with the thread to being helpful to beginners, nor a help request/helpful. It would belong more in the Off-topic section, IMHO.

Let me know if my thinking is wrong.

Also, I have a feeling that the thread would have a huge decline in posts if it was moved to Off-topic because most signature campaigns don't pay there. Roll Eyes
