Does this thread belong in Off-Topic?

I've been thinking about this for a little while.

Does the "Did you earn bitcoin today" thread even belong in Beginners/Help? I can't really find any ties with the thread to being helpful to beginners, nor a help request/helpful. It would belong more in the Off-topic section, IMHO.

Let me know if my thinking is wrong.

Also, I have a feeling that the thread would have a huge decline in posts if it was moved to Off-topic because most signature campaigns don't pay there.

I feel your concern. But I see this topic as just just spammy by nature. Some threads are like this. It is not off-topic when you are talking about bitcoin, and this is bitcoin forum after all. But in this case I too think that this thread is not bringing anything to the table anymore...

IIRC (not entirely sure if it was that exact thread) I reported that thread months ago saying exactly this:

this thread is becoming a spamfest. it's not about beginners or help so it should be moved to off-topic.

as a result, my accuracy went down.

It's one of those threads where account farmers usually post daily to increase count and make it to the next activity increase.

honestly , from the the pages that I red, the comments are just somehow repeating over and over from different people just with a few tweaking and it shouldn't been made in the first place...the only reason I'm seeing why its still there is mainly due to the fact that in the official post , there's a question of " how did you do it ? " and that's the only reason I see that makes it to be on Beginners & Help section as this way it gives some pointers for new comers to get familiar with different ways of earning bitcoin
