1  Other / Off-topic / Captchas question- Health related on: December 15, 2016, 08:11:26 PM
I want to know if by solving captchas can cause damage to your brain. I googled a bit and all sort of things came up. I like to hear opinions from people from this forum as I know a lot of persons use them here.

It's not much I make with them but 2 USD per hour in bitcoin is good is about 0.0025 btc which is better than S9 miner with energy cost in my country which can produce in 24 hours 0.012 btc. With 6 hour of work I can do more. Is it bad to my brain? I am using a 40 inch Ultra 4K HD Panasonic as my monitor just for reference.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Is CPU mining bad for my processor? on: November 10, 2016, 07:21:29 PM
I have a new processor and it gives me about 52 H/s by mining Bytecoin. So I am happily letting it run through the miner incorporated in the wallet I downloaded from bytecoin.org .

My question is , will this make the life of my brand new cpu shorter or it's not a problem at all ? Also my processor only uses about 50 watt so the electricity is almost non existent I guess .... ?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What can I mine with this CPU ? on: November 07, 2016, 08:04:40 PM
I just recently upgraded my PC and I have an intel i3 6100 without dedicated card (this coming soon as project cars crashes sometimes with Intel HD530 which is integrated) but until I get the dedicated card RX 460 or RX 470 or maybe a GTX 1060 I want to ask you guys is this CPU good enough to mine Ethereum or whatever coin it's profitable to mine with this.

I have a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit here but soon will upgrade to latest version of Windows 10 released just now in October.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Computer for GPU mining ? Is this enough? on: November 02, 2016, 06:43:43 PM
After failing to set up a solar panel fueled antminer now I move on to my next challenge, this one is a whole lot more achievable.

I have (or it will be finished after 2 weeks) built this PC for GPU mining.

1. Core i3 6100
2. SSD Toshiba 120 GB + HDD 250 GB (I Know this is not important but just to tell you everything)
3. G.Skill 8 GB DDR 4 RAM 2400 Mhz
4. Corsair PSU 550 VS
5. Case: Not decided yet but it will be a well ventilated Mid-tower from Thermaltake or CoolerMaster
6. RX 460 as GPU

I choose this because when I saw mining calculator for Ethereum, I see that RX 460 has 15 Hash and in the end it can give me a profit of about 60-62 USD per month.

My electricity cost is 0.15 USD per K/watt.

I choose RX 460 as GPU because maximum it consumes is about 83 Watt when is on full power. Also the Core i3 6100 in extreme conditions and maximum power it consumes 65 w. SSD, RAM and HDD are all handpicked and almost 0 watt consuming.

I think I am building a perfect GPU mining rig (well GPU will be replaced as many times as needed because it may be worn out from mining but RX 460 cost in Italy is 140 Euro so no problem).

Have I done everything right or I am only dreaming here is my question to you ?

Edit: I didn't knew my real energy cost and now it's more than double so I think this is not profitable at all , damn you Italy, damn you , always going down and more down in every aspect. In fact we are the only country which to pass a law from the small senate room and up to the big one takes an eternity. I think migration is the only option left for us here
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Can I receive money in my credit/debit card by selling bitcoins ? on: October 19, 2016, 05:39:25 PM
I usually sell through the Skrill system. I received money from Skrill to my bank card with 3 business day no matter that Skrill says it can take up to 7 days based on my bank account. The problem is lately I have sold again bitcoin through Skrill and money received in skrill no problem. Problem with transfer from Skrill to card now it's been 6 days, first time such thing happening.

So I want to ask any service where I can sell bitcoins and receive the money directly in my credit/debit card ?  No stupid answers like localbitcoins please. Only constructive and helpful ones.
7  Economy / Services / I will pay for referrals. on: October 19, 2016, 05:25:49 PM
I need someone with very good network marketing skills to bring me lots of active referrals in the website freebit.co.in

I want 50 active referrals. State your price here. I also want these referrals to be humans and to be interested in bitcoin. To be active daily, I prefer Indian, Bangladesh referrals.People with twitter and facebook accounts can be advantaged.

I will pay up front if you have proven record of such work. In other case I will use only escrow, you pay the fees.

50 active referrals for freebit.co.in is what I am asking.

Usually I am online more at night and all my bitcoins are in my hardware wallet so I cannot pay you in the morning as I am working. I will be online another good 2-3 hours here.

Waiting for offers.
8  Bitcoin / Mining / Solar panel powered mining ? on: October 19, 2016, 05:03:31 PM
Maybe this is already been asked here but my question is a specific one. I live in a well developed country which has more than 200 days of sun. I am thinking to buy an antminer S9 to try out mining bitcoin but without using electricity cause electricity is super expensive here. The antminer to operate well I have been reading guides and watching videos all over the internet needs a good 2200 WATT PSU.

What is the cost of a solar panel capable of fueling such power to the Antminer S9 ? I will not use that solar panel for anything else. I am asking this question mainly to European users as there is where I am also located.

Waiting impatiently for your answers.
9  Economy / Speculation / Did I do wrong or right ? on: September 12, 2016, 07:59:27 PM
I sold almost all my coins today for about 200 USD (that's what I had in my electrum wallet) and have very few coins sitting on my hardware wallet. I want to build a medium-high end gaming PC and this money is need for me to buy it. Did I do wrong that I sold a high amount of bitcoins about 0.35 to achieve my goal ? I am also happy that I am near fulfilling my goal but also sad as maybe the price of bitcoin skyrockets soon after I did this.

What ever I am the person who wants to achieve my goals no matter the cost so f it whatever the case with the price of bitcoin.
10  Bitcoin / Electrum / Can't send funds from electrum on: July 30, 2016, 06:54:48 PM
Every time I try to send funds from my electrum bitcoin wallet it gives me this message

Error:
u'a9cf46cf1dda4c8c97078829b9a5740d36b4eb30f8a6a854b975a27d0c361c52:1'

What can be the problem, my funds are stucked there, the seed is ok, the password is ok and I have them in Linux, Electrum version 2.5.4
I am going to try from my laptop by restoring the seed but what could have gone wrong here ?

Edit: Tried from my laptop and transaction went smoothly directly.

Strange situation ? Ubuntu 12.04 desktop, Linux Mint latest in Laptop. I restored it from seed in the lap just now.
11  Economy / Service Discussion / Hashnest calculator ? on: July 21, 2016, 07:06:53 PM
Good evening everyone

I do not open very often new topics, but lately I have been investing a good part of my bitcoin in Hashnest. I know and I have read is not profitable but I just wanted to try. Now I don't see any calculator for the earnings or anything related which can help me view better my investment and to give me advice of how much additional investment I can make again to Hashnest. I checked all the tabs in the website and couldn't find out so I am seeking help here from the more knowledgeable people of this forum.
12  Economy / Service Discussion / Halving did its first effect on mining websites on: July 09, 2016, 06:54:28 PM
I have a friend of mine who is complaining to me why the reward depreciated enormously right after the halving happened. I think it has yet to happen but he is insisting he used to made 0.002 bitcoin for a day in eobot, and now the he can barely make 0.0006 bitcoin per day.
If this is truly the case new generation of mining are needed or all the mining websites will close down really soon now.

14  Economy / Currency exchange / Where to find a trusted exchanger? on: May 24, 2016, 03:56:20 PM
I am sorry if I posted in the wrong section, but don't really know where to post this, any trusted exchanger where you can directly exchange your bitcoins to skrill, paypal or payza. I know where to exchange them in perfectmoney but don't know any trusted exchanger to exchange to skrill more specifically. Is it Mistermoneybrazil safe to use ? And what are some other options ?
15  Economy / Service Discussion / How do you rent hashpower from a pool / on: April 30, 2016, 10:17:49 AM
How can you rent hashpower, example from nicehash in order to use it on a pool and then to withdraw even with a loss your earned bitcoin with this renting contract? Not much into technology so I would love to hear a nice explanation to this.

18  Other / Meta / Buying Bitcointalk Account??? on: January 18, 2016, 03:56:08 AM
Just a simple question, I rmb we can't use more than 1 acc in here (apart from Meta Section) at the same time,
so what is the reason for buying another acc?

just use the higher rank acc to replace, and earn more in signature camping? But I can see some user buying few accounts at the same time.

Or for some special case you can use them all in once???
