1  Local / Biete / Rasperry pi 3, anyone? on: March 21, 2016, 08:20:01 PM

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Very Old Wallet - will it update flawlessly? on: March 18, 2016, 01:25:41 PM
Hey there.

In a couple hours i will receive back a laptop from the police that was seized in 2011. The computer contains an old bitcoin instance, if i remember correctly it should be around version 0.28, just short of 180k blocks. The wallet on said installation should contain several hundred bitcoin, so obviously before doing anything I'm gonna back the whole thing up.

My question is -

A) the computer in question runs windows xp and a debian etch or lenny... Will a current bitcoin-qt run on windows xp?
B) if i just upgrade the bitcoint client(i know there was some break in wallet compatibility and probably more than one libdb upgrade in between, which normally should have just transitioned)… will it convert the wallet to current standards and be able to use it?
C) if not, is the old pywallet still around and compatible allowing me to just dump the private keys?
D) if none of the above, what should i do?

Ps: i know for certain that the wallet isnt encrypted - the feature was too new for me back then to be used, besides the root partition is crypted(and i still have keys)

4  Economy / Goods / More Anonymous Polish Debit Cards with IBAN Account on: April 15, 2015, 09:48:58 PM
So, I got about a dozen polish prepaid debit cards here, Bank brand is Pekao.
I got PLN and Euro ones
The cards are the usual deal:

Yearly Limit: 10.000 PLN(2500 EUR)
Daily Limit: 500 PLN(150 EUR)
Cards Valid for: 3 Years
ATM Withdrawal: 3 PLN (2.50 EUR)

As usual, Cards come with their own IBAN bank account, and since this bank is rarely being used by the other sellers here, they can still successfully be used to verify Paypal and withdraw from a paypal account.

Why am I selling? Simple. I bought some of these cards in January 2013, paid about 15 BTC per card back then(pretty much turned out 120 dollar per card). It felt like a rip off back then, but the cards were worth it. This time I decided to get them myself, a) to save money since I already had a trip to poland planned, b) since I wanted the same brand again. Bought a couple more, since I figured some of you guys might want some too(and I can at least turn a small profit :-))

As we're used to, cards come in sealed envelopes, you have to register them yourself, Bank's website accepts fake data or your real address(within the EU), Bank has an english language version of their banking interface.

Now the most important stuff:
Cards Prices: 0.11 BTC per card(about 25 Dollar)
Shipping: Europe in a neutral envelope: 0.01 BTC
Shipping outside Europe in a neutral envelope: 0.02 BTC

If you buy multiple cards, I'll ship them in a single envelope, so shipping cost stays at the above rates

6  Economy / Services / Affordable phone verifications (Text Message and Voice) on: April 01, 2015, 01:24:46 PM
Hi,

I am offering affordable phone verifications. I am currently planning on making this a fully automated service(Posted an inquiry on this and got some PMs showing interest in such a service). Until my service is up I'd offer this on a per customer basis.

For 0.01 BTC I will receive a phone verification call or text message(preferred) and get you the code.

PM me or contact me here!
7  Economy / Digital goods / Service Discovery - automated text message/phone verification on: April 01, 2015, 10:51:39 AM
Hi, I read another thread the other day about people offering bulk phone numbers...

I had the idea for some time now, and I want to know whether there's actual interest in a service like this:

basically, I'd provide a service that you guys can use to verify whatever service that needs a phone verification.
You would go onto my page, pay 0.01 BTC, and get a number in return. You enter the number with the service you want to verify with,
and as soon as the call went through or the text message arrives you'd be able to play/view it in browser.
The number would get deleted afterwards(unless you need it to stay active and are willing to pay about 0.01 BTC per month for that)

My service would not require an account for basic use, could have an account feature for bulk use and discounts on bulk use though.
I would also provide an API where you'd just poll a bitcoin address, make arrangements to transfer btc to that address, once it's visible you get a phone number, you make your arrangement, once the message/call went in you can poll the text message/phone call.

Is there any interest in a service like this?
8  Economy / Invites & Accounts / WTS uploaded.net accounts(2x 3 month access) on: March 31, 2015, 08:50:46 PM
Hi, I have two uploaded.net accounts here. I bought them today using phone payment(wanted to see whether referal works, was advised to do so by ul.to support on wjunction forums), however I dont need those accounts, so I'm offering them here.
The new price of those accounts is 25 euro, I'd say if I get rid of them for 20 euro I'd be happy (so about 0.09 BTC for each account)

If you're interested please pm me or answer here
9  Economy / Digital goods / Ingress Badges/Medals(Darsana, shonin, Hank Johnson) on: March 31, 2015, 08:33:29 PM
Hi, I have some medals leftover, in particular Darsana badges(code, but physical card can be shipped), Shonin Badges(code, but badge card can also be shipped) and Hank Johnson Badge codes(they came on a white piece of cart, if anyone really wants this, I can ship it, but I guess there's rather limited point in it)

Codes will be sent as a photograph of the actual badge, if the buyer wants it, the paper card can be mailed at buyers cost(either unregistered/letter or registered with tracking).

Price range for the anomaly badges: about 0.5 BTC - can be negotiated. I have more than one badge left, since I attended multiple sites
Price range for the Hank Johnson badge: 0.1 BTC

Escrow is well accepted, deal could also be closed using localbitcoins.com in case we cannot agree on an escrow service(I guess we'll find someone trustworthy)

For inquiries PM me or post here!

EDIT: I am willing to trade Hank Johnson codes for Susanna Moyer codes/Dr Oliver Lythen Wolfe codes
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / copy of the SC2 blockchain needed on: August 07, 2014, 07:44:00 AM
Hey there, I know you guys never liked solidcoin2(most of ya at least), still, does someone still have a (at least partial) copy of the solidcoin2 blockchain?

I would need like the first 300.000 blocks(that should in theory be enough)
11  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTB] BTC/LTC with neteller on: May 04, 2013, 10:05:02 PM
Hi, just got my payout from my gambling site, got $106 in my neteller, want BTC or LTC.

If anyone wants a trade, PM me. I'd go somewhere between mtgox weighed avg and last(which is between $105/coin to $113/coin) , maybe a little higher.

I'll go first on people with Reputation, Escrow via bitmit is ok as well.
12  Economy / Currency exchange / Anyone accept WMZ? on: November 02, 2012, 01:59:45 AM
hi there, I'm currently looking for some exchange/individual who will exchange WMZ (to BTC or LR). with btc-e having their WMZ purse locked, it seems like there's no place left that allows WMZ funding.

So if anyone here knows an exchange(r) that still accepts WMZ, I'm sure I'm not the only one interested
13  Local / Biete / [B] 2x PSC 10 Euro, je 1 BTC on: October 22, 2012, 04:34:38 PM

15  Economy / Services / Update: Bit-Host! Buy Rapidshare/Uploaded/Netload premium with bitcoins on: August 30, 2012, 10:43:51 PM
Hi there,

I'm proud to announce to my customers:

Bit-Host!

I have been selling Those rapids on bitmit for a while, and built a decent reputation there.

However it came to my mind lately that many people might not order due to the time between payment and delivery(we're humans here, too, so instant delivery simply wasnt possible). That is why we put up our new, automated shop,

Not only are you now able to extend your premium termtime for an amount of time YOU choose, but you will also save money when buying from us.

The delivery of your account will be instant after the transaction has 1 confirmation, and we are way cheaper than other resellers/rapidshare direct.

You are now probably asking yourself how we can be so cheap, and whether we are legit? YES we are. Our Rapids are a leftover from the time rapidshare paid a commission for each download, and each of those commission points was converted to 10 rapids when they stopped their affiliate program. Our rapids have since been lying around on those accounts, and if we were to use them ourselves, we'd be premium for more than the rest of our lives.

All of our rapids have btw been generated with our own content, NOT with files infringing copyright.

But do not trust us. Trust our Feedback on bitmit. To prove that I am the same person as I am on bitmit.net, I have added links to our auctions:
https://www.bitmit.net/en/trade/i/4259-1000-rapids-30-tage-rapidshare-premium-instant-delivery/description

Check us, our auctions, and most important, check our Feedback!

If you still dont trust us, you can place an order on bitmit.net directly, which will not be filled instantly, but you will have escrow for that instead!

PS: we are currently working on integrating bitshare and uploaded.to premium accounts as well. These can be purchased from us directly(either bitmit or PM here!)

PPS: Our site doesnt work with internet explorer. This is kind of expected, but since IE is a crappy browser, there are no plans to change this for now!

08-02-2012 - Added automated support for netload.in premium vouchers and support mail address!
08-30-2012 - Netload.in is currently out of stock
08-31-2012 - Now accepting manual orders for uploaded.net accounts. PM for more info!
09-23-2012 - restocked Netload.in vouchers and switched uploaded.net to automatic!
