41  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / "Too many values set to temp curoff." Miner help please, cgminer. on: December 07, 2012, 07:03:25 AM
I am only trying to run one card right now, and I am familiar with running CG and reaper, but  Ican't underfstand this effort and how to fix it and very difficult for me to find help on net, me and a friend have been working for about five hours I DID get my LTC rig from cplete failure and majorly increased speed.

Please, any help. I will pay LTC or BTC. PM me if you have time to chat or skye for this, I can even call.

Looking for something for my girl (engagement ring), but I thought why not solicit Bitcointalk first! Then we can do business in BTC and be happy! Smiley

Here are some examples of things she likes and why she does.

http://www.etsy.com/listing/63769466/montana-blue-sapphire-lotus-flower?ga_search_query=montana
I love this design. I have seen her do it with multiple stones and they are all beautiful. I especially love the way the center stone is held. I like that it has a matching band, though it leaves something to be desired. Also a bit much in the bling department. I want something feminine, but not in your fave. I'm not a real housewife of Orange County. Tongue

http://www.etsy.com/listing/51316171/venus-lotus-ring-rose-cut-rainbow
http://www.etsy.com/listing/77513301/peacock-lotus-ring-in-18k-rose-gold
These two are similar the difference being the stone obviously. This ring is a little too simple, but I like the rose cut and the dark peacock pearl. The lotus setting is feminine and is heading towards something I would like

http://www.etsy.com/listing/112384523/acadia-wedding-ring-set-engagement-ring
Really like this but would want it made in silver and with a larger stone

http://www.etsy.com/listing/76678881/wedding-ring-set-delicate-leaf?ref=sr_gallery_8&ga_search_query=leaf+engagement+ring&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_ref=auto1&ga_search_type=all
I really like the leaf pattern and how the engagement ring and band fit together like puzzle pieces. I also like the setting of the stones, because it looks like the leaves are holding it.

http://www.jeremy-hoye.com/designer-jewellery-rings/women-s-silver-rings/silver-hedgehog-flower-toadstool-ring.html#.UL0srIbF6xo
This one is a bit far out, I don't like it, but she loves hedgehogs and said it could be "inspirational".

Things she likes: nature, slytherin (mostly colors Tongue), hedgehog quills maybe?, flowers (lotus setting), leafs

She would like, verbatim :
"Would like something unique. Lotus, leafs, nature, even slytherin themes.
Like Dark colored pearls, most green stones (jade, tourmaline, emerald) both cut and raw
Sterling silver primarily, though also like rose and white gold
would prefer center stone to be about 6mm"

Any crafters here of the sorts?

47  Economy / Goods / [WTS] BitCoiner2012's Silver Selling Thread - Canadian Maples for BTC or PayPal! on: November 19, 2012, 05:41:47 PM
Note: I will ship internationally if you pay the additional costs associated with it. If it absolutely must be, PayPal can be accepted. But expect me to charge fees or higher prices to cover the hassle costs associated with it. I am also open to bank deposits, money orders, etc for larger purchases or even moderate ones depending on how much hassle it is for me to take the payment.

Good condition Canadian Maples from various years. Most in great condition, but will detail specific conditions of coins if necessary for the buyer.  - 1 Ounce per coin. Looking to exchange for BTC. Can work out a deal for one or multiples, PM or post here.

Also check my signature for a chance to win a Canadian Maple courtesy of myself and the games at http://TAABL.net either through a one time bet or an ongoing raffle.

UPDATE 12/4

Here are some photos of the current maples I have. Some are nice and shiny, others have some small tinge. I buy for the content of silver and nothing more, barring mass disfigure of coins, so I expect to sell in the same manner. If that's not for you, no problem, some of mine are in visibly better shape, but those that want silver for silver, I also welcome your BTC business.

Here is a sample of current stock - Maples from various years of varying conditions:

And

https://i.imgur.com/1bfjc.jpg

Sorry I would post images exactly, but they are huge and take up tons of screen estate. Any tips on how to post small size? Is there a command to shrink them like HTML? Thanks..

49  Economy / Gambling / Chances to win Canadian Maples, .1-.4 bets [UPDATE 12/17 - Last chance!] on: November 17, 2012, 10:13:59 PM
Let's get ready to play and win some silver, something I consider just as good as Bitcoin!

--------

New update:

12/22 Last game finished, winner has contacted me and verified identity. Feel free to post here if you'd like to let everyone know! Congrats on winning a maple! I have no plans, due to the holidays and a little early difficulty with signing/verifying, to ship out anytime sooner than Wednesday, but still a nice gift for new years for a small bet! Thanks for playing! The new Pick 3 has started and has reached 4 bets at (1PipemCUjxq9LKww7CaLWUMeGVZL3bD3VM) so far.

----------

GAME ONE This is a PICK3 based raffle courtesy of the fine folks who also run the Amazing Anonymous Bitcoin Lottery (http://www.taabl.net)

Fine print: TAABL is hosting the raffle. Please contact me for completing the transaction

I'm hosting up 1 Silver Canadian Maple (the "5 dollar" maples) .999 silver for raffle. The entry is .1 and it's a pick 3 game, so each .1 is worth one random number (you can customize your pick by placing the appropriate bet hex in satoshis on your .1 bet).  Once the raffle hits 40 entries, it is live and one of the entries will win the price. Shipping is included in the United States.

* Please remember, the Game One raffle only starts at 40, not ends. Anyone can add more chances at .1 BTC per entry . The raffle isn't over until a winner is chosen! *

LINK FOR GAME IS HERE
http://taabl.net/pick?_=50a7aa888127a8153a89bb4c

Or you can just send .1 to 1PipemCUjxq9LKww7CaLWUMeGVZL3bD3VM for a random number bet.

--11/28 After the initial raffle, subsequent Canadian Maples will be of varying years and conditions, but desirable condition.

GAME TWO

Game two has had a winner :
http://taabl.net/pick?_=50a81b4f8127a829f95dc77a

So if the owner of the winning address would please contact me.

Go to

http://diceoncrack.com/address?_=1Pipeb5iNYmURifrxPZfvwHsTiw9rEb2iu

Or send .1 BTC  to 1Pipeb5iNYmURifrxPZfvwHsTiw9rEb2iu

And bet .1 BTC for a chance to win, once again, a Canadian Maple 2012 Silver Round .999 Troy Ounce, near mint!

--11/28 After the initial raffle, subsequent Canadian Maples will be of varying years and conditions, but desirable condition.

This game is live from the moment it starts - a Pick 4 style Bitpick. So even with five, ten, or twenty bets a winner could be had with a little luck. Again, no 40 bet requirement, this could payout anytime.

GAME THREE

Bet .4  BTC for a chance to instantly win a Canadian Maple Silver Round. Just send .4 BTC to 1Pipeb5iNYmURifrxPZfvwHsTiw9rEb2iu

Results of bets can be seen on the http://www.diceoncrack.com website at the bottom of the page listed as "Minefield | b5iN"

PLEASE NOTE: Game Three is NOT a raffle, it is merely a .4 gamble to win a silver troy ounce, minted in Canada. Thank you.

UPDATE on GAME THREE! First roll looks like it was a winner! Check this post for details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=126396.msg1342094#msg1342094

All silver rounds won as a result of this raffle will be Canadian Maples from varying years of varying (but desirable) conditions.

Feel free to post here and discuss or ask questions, especially about what else you'd like to see raffled.
50  Other / Meta / PM Limit!! on: November 17, 2012, 09:15:31 PM
How is one to do business here with this insane PM limit? I know we can exchange contact information, but sometimes I neglect the messages a couple hours and have to have a couple conversations without thinking. Next thing you know I'm in the middle of it and I'm locked out for a solid 30-50 minutes depending on how unlucky I am. Plus it's downright irritating to have to get ahold of every single person's info and write them in e-Mail when that's what this forum is for - to connect us and allow us to talk. I am not spamming anyone, I am having legit conversations with voluntary individuals, so I just don't understand how we can't figure out a way to fix this issue. I am simply venting.

Trying through the banks, but would much rather BTCers Smiley

12/5/2012 Finance update - Secured 5,000 USD investment from outside this venue, 33% of what I need to open, 25% of what I need to comfortably open. Have talked to several others and will update for any developments. BTC or USD is acceptable (as the BTC must be converted to USD for me to utilize it for the purpose), however repayment in USD or BTC is acceptable.

12/8/2012 Fiance Update - Secured an additional 5,000 USD investment from the same outside venue. I am now at the 10,000 mark and can open the store, period. I won't have as much as I could potentially stock with just a bit more, but for all intents and purposes - all systems go.  Much more updates to come.

Coca Cola is scheduled for the coming days and I will post updates on cooler installation as well as with other companies and goods. Please, once again, contact me if you think we can help one another. If you sell physical products I would be glad to offer them to my community and do business in BTC, as I will accept BTC for any item in the store barring legality.

---- Original Content Continues ----

3215 hwy 319 south 32327

maps.google.com that address and my store is on the left. It is an old photo, but the store is in great shape and I shall open it whether or not I receive the help I seek here, but every bit that can help here can help reduce my capacity for relying on banks directly, which charge high interest rates (at least what I've been quoted so far for the unsecured loans - my vehicles are "too old" to blue book value them for effective loaning of more than around 6 thousand dollars).

I grew up there in the 90s and ran it with my father in the 2000s. We sold the property in 2006 and now I have it free and clear of debt for the time being, so overhead will be nill.

I have contracts with LAMAR billboards guaranteed until 2015 that amount to 7000 between my two commercial properties (the other of which consists of a mechanic shop which has been in business on my land for 4 years - a contract obligating him to pay rent monthly until December 2013 is available for those who seek serious interest in this investment on any substantial level) and a storage unit which I manage myself that brings in some hundreds monthly on average. I plan to post photos shortly of the Coastal Storage facility and Gibson Auto shop on one of our commercial parcels south of the main town in the county. The contracts with LAMAR make my property taxes and insurance between BOTH commercial properties net neutral, so my overhead literally will be zero, aside from obvious things like electricity or internet and phone within the business. I plan to pay my self little to no labor in payroll unless required by my accountant whom can also be contacted upon request to me. Additional sources of labor for the long hours will be supplied by my significant other, sister (whom is also familiar with the business of a station as well as I), and my mother (who also worked in my father's station for over a decade), none of which are required to be directly paid unless the business begins to do phenomenally well, but even at that point I still expect that I would do at least 60-75% of labor hours in any given week. It is my baby. I have every intention of being in that building around 15-18 hours a day for at least the first three months. I know and understand entirely the requirements for operating a store - things must be done and the early stages are the most important for customer relations and making sure all transactions are lubricated well enough.

I am familiar with this business and have been in it since the age of 5, I'm looking to cater many and offer a type of store none have seen for quite some time. I expect many legacy customers as they have verbally harassed me to open my store (a bit harsh, not quite harass Smiley. I will sell products that were popular at our old store (same property and location - 2.5 acres C2 .25 miles south of the court house in Crawfordville, in a county with a population of about 30k-38k. I can easily supply public records to anyone that asks that indicates that I am the owner of these properties and the president of the management company that oversees the two commercial properties. I may update them to the post, since they are quite public at any rate.)

For now this is a Google Street view address for my second rental property that houses the auto mechanic and my storage unit.

2757 Coastal Hwy 32327

Turn the camera to the left and the buildings and LAMAR advertising billboards can clearly be seen.

If the investment is substantial, I would consider a potential share in the business (but not an awful lot to be frank). I would much rather offer a reasonable interest rate and payment schedule for investors.

I have a variety of equipment from our previous operation before sale, such as freezers, multi door coolers, racks, etc. However the majority of the hardware will be supplied by given companies, IE Coca Cola/Pepsi Cola will do much of their own advertising be it inside, window, or on the roadway as well as providing machinery for coolers. Community Coffee will provide ice coffee machines as well as basic coffee grinder and dispensers. I also plan to offer custom lattes, but that requires little more than a few additional goods. My point being is that much of the heavy lifting is done by suppliers, I must simply manage the other hardware such as register, POS, etc if we have it not available from previous operation. Please ask with any questions.

I will also update and finish this list as it goes so you can have some idea of how far along I am:

Occupational License to do business (this allows me to legally open today technically, to sell almost anything but tobacco and alcohol).
County Inspection of building - Done
Existing S-Corp for business purposes.
Occupational License certification (additional fee for tax collector to verify and place into records)
Register with the State of Florida to collect sales tax at a retail location.
Install/Construct Counters (pending for second weekend in December - that would be the 8th or so)

Move Coca Cola coolers inside (pending one week as of 12/3)
Turn on electricity to facility.
Decide on payment processor/merchant account.
Contact Pepsi Cola
Acquire Alcohol/Tobacco License
Apply for Lottery license
Order interior grocery from HACKNEY

Image time:

The logo on the side of the storage facility. The mobile number needs to be changed as my father passed, but the local number is for the mechanic on site as he handles any walk in business for the center (I do adverts or actively seek tenants for the storage units).

Here are the units from the side. The back has 4 small units not visible and the side opposite of the visible small units has two more small units, so six more not visible here. I actually have *most* of the metal material for another building of this exact size, doors and all, just sitting but no capital extra to erect it. It's not massively profitable, but it is renewable income for years from a one time investment.

Here's a photo of the front of the store location that I hope to open. This is our old BP - you can still see the paint (which I plan to keep unless way too much money falls out of the sky) for at least the first operating six months or so until I can do something more fitting to the general theme. There also sits the old BP Sign, but I am in talks with designers to make a new cover/wrap therefore we can utilize the old inner lighting system to have a light up sign without a lot of the cost associated with constructing a new one. You can also see what light landscaping we have left.

And because I adore Sentry plants, here's a closer up photo of the frontal landscaping that lines the major highway (319- for this area) in front of the storefront. I will also be selling plants as noted, these are some of the type that I will be selling in addition to flowers, vegetables, saplings, and herbs. Cacti are surprisingly popular in Florida to the right clients, though most of the botanical business will indeed go to hanging baskets, flowers, veggies, and regional favorites like the Sago palm or banana tree, as has been my experience in the past.

58  Economy / Services / Opening store, need certain skills (web design, etc) and will pay in BTC/USD/Slv on: October 31, 2012, 04:17:21 AM
Opening a general store and I'll need certain online facilitations, web design, maybe ecommerce site (I hope to accept BTC in my physical store and provide what goods make sense to do so online for the BTC community at large to add to that marketplace - barring legal trouble I want to accept Silver and BTC in store physically (advertised next to VISA).

At any rate, please post here what sort of skills you offer that could be related, if you are near 850 area code please let me know as well if you have a skill for trade. Other online skills, international is perfectly fine. Please be able to provide examples of work, an estimate on cost easily without too much hassle (doesn't have to be TOO accurate, either), and any feedback you have (preferably here, but if we use off site I may want additional verification depending on the cost of the transaction).

Be creative and think outside the box. For example, I want a non traditional register system - I would like to run the software from a netbook with USB scanners. I have no idea how to get that going but don't have a lot of time to Google it (but will if I have to here shortly, depends on time). But that may be very easy - so we could even do small fractional transactions for bits of knowledge and so forth. That's an example of eccentric things I could need from users.

Appreciated. I have feedback from two users and pending from Bigal.
