61  Economy / Trading Discussion / Regarding Mt GOX vouchers. on: October 23, 2012, 12:13:36 AM
I am confused on their payment funding page, it sounds like any funds from someone else could be suspect for account suspension. However upon closer inspection it seems mostly to be referring to financial institutions. My question is : Is it acceptable for someone to make a voucher at GOX For USD and trade them to me for redemption or vice versa? I was under the impression that I could make a voucher worth X BTC or X USD at GOX and trade, sell, keep, or do whatever I pleased, but I am concerned about account security first and foremost. Does anyone have any solid information on this subject ?

How in the world is one expected to do business with a limit of 10 PMS an hour? Is there even a counter to let me know when I can have the opportunity to PM again? Does this restriction ever lift? I understand spam, but whew.

If anyone is looking to get rid of any of these particular models, please just send me a message here or PM. I can pay Amazon Payment, PayPal, or BTC. I have a couple good trades here so far with established members and am working on two more.

Thanks,

Scammed 1k USD from me. I did two good transactions with PayPal earlier with a great member on this forum, but Epiks stole my money and refuses to respond. Here is his profile link, it has been over two days. This is just for everyone else to know.

I can take the fee, or gift, or whatnot. I am a 10+ year verified PayPal member. I did business earlier with a known seller here and it was fantastic, but it appears he has retired for the evening. Please don't post "lol PP newbie" posts, only PM or post if actually interested. I want about 250 coins.

I have several hundred dollars I'd ike into Mt Gox, but the best way I can seem to find is a CVS or Walmart from bitinstant will supposedly do it for 4%. That is a bit steep for me.. but is that the best way to do it this time of night? etc?

70  Economy / Computer hardware / Want to TRADE/Sell 5870 for 5850 or on: September 09, 2012, 04:16:29 AM
Looking to sell (USD PayPal or Bitcoin) my 5870 ATI cards of which I have two available. I am looking for either an amount exchange or a quasi trade including a 5850 card (I need up to 3 of these). Anyone interested or looking for a 5870? I have little feedback here, but plenty on eBay, gametz, PayPal, Neogaf.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Problem connecting with Bitcoin. on: August 09, 2012, 03:07:23 AM
I was using P2Pool quite finely for quite some time now. Got a 5850 card in the mail and dual installed by my 560 ti just fine. Appeared to be working, installed MSI to get some tweaks. Had the screen freeze and restarted. Now Bitcoin simply won't connect. I've seen it get 1 connection sometimes, but that's not enough to do anything obviously. But lately I haven't even been able to replicate that.

The main symptom I can see is that I can't shut it down. It locks at 25 cpu and 46k mem or so in cntrl alt delete. I have to use the command menu to end it, lest it never ends. I am wondering if it's not so much the connection as it just hanging somehow. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried restarting computer, modem, router, etc. Ports have been forwarded and have been working effectively, no changes were made! Sans video card... any familiar..? Did a lot of Googling but received little results... Thanks..

Hi !

A 560 ti nVidia, using GUIMiner -cuda, and p2pool.

Went through all the setups listed at the Wiki page here:

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/P2Pool

And everything seemed to be in working order. I get around 70-80 MHash a second says the GUIMiner, p2Pool seems to confirm this or did earlier when it was working. AFter some hours I noticed it telling me that the connection had been lost for several minutes. Over the hours I had collected some "shares" according to the miner, though I don't recall if the shares listed in p2pool were reflected. The speed seems to be about the same (P2Pool ranges from 60-200 mhash it claims). However when I restarted the programs I noticed there is no indication of previous shares. How does this work exactly? P2Pool claims "Shares: 0 (0 Orphan, 0 dead).

Suddenly and with no change of settings, my failure rate seems to be around 30-45% (DoA), this was not occuring a few hours ago. I tried restarting, but with no luck or change.

Here is an image of my command prompt.

Thanks!
