81  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB S9 Front Fan 120x38mm 4pin on: November 26, 2016, 02:00:50 PM
Hi,

I'm after a front fan for an S9 the larger blade type not the smaller blade type. I think they were fitted to the S7 aswell.

Only after one as I've got a feeling it's dear fan that causss the whining.

I'm in the UK so a UK seller would be preferred.
82  Economy / Currency exchange / [W]0.2btc [H]Paypal Trusted members only. Small trades welcome on: November 09, 2016, 06:37:46 AM
I'm after 0.2btc via PayPal. It will be sent as a gift/family and friends unless requested otherwise. I will only deal with trusted members who I deem suitable for this kind of trade. If you have little or no trust you will send first.

For all the people trying to get post counts up on farmed accounts please don't post your comments about how PayPal is reversible etc as I have been here for quite a while and have traded in this way many times. Please check my feedback if you need too.

84  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS maybe] S7-LN (sidehack modified). on: November 04, 2016, 05:27:59 PM
Just wondering what you guys would think is a good price to sell a Sidehack'd S7LN for?

Currently underclocked at 445m getting 2Th (but will run at regular and overclocked crews aswell) Really is a quiet machine running under my desk.

HW Error rate over the past 12days (since I restarted it after a clean) is 23errors which reads as 0.0000% so it works really well.

Sidehack adjusted the board voltage so it would run more efficient than original. Its currently pulling about 430w (at 445m) from the wall through an EVGA 850 P2 psu (not for sale)

Any help on a good price for it would be nice.

Thanks.
85  Bitcoin / Mining / Bitmain and customs declaration on: November 03, 2016, 05:57:59 PM
So do Bitmain actually fill out the customs declaration with the miners full value or do they reduce it to try and help customers out and save money on import duty?

Anyone know?

86  Economy / Services / Need some 3D printed duct for Antminer S7 (UK) on: October 18, 2016, 10:02:40 PM
Hi everyone,

First time posting in this section so apologies if it's in the wrong place or format.

Basically I'm after someone in the UK to 3D print some ducts for the Antminer S7 (and similar machines) so I can attach ducting easily.

I know someone on here somewhere has done it before and left the "drawings" for download. The only ones I can find available are in the USA and the postage is a killer.

Any help would be appreciated.
87  Bitcoin / Hardware / Fan details for S7 on: October 16, 2016, 08:52:34 PM
Has anyone got a picture or the details for a fan on the S7?

I'm after the Amps if possible. Any and all info welcome go single and dual fan models.
88  Economy / Computer hardware / **FREE**Antminer S3+ parts on: October 16, 2016, 07:05:23 PM
Hi everyone,

1 x Hashing Board (no heatsinks)

1 x Control Board (with ribbon cables)

Came from one of my old S3+ miners that I broke for parts.

Not sure if they are working as the miner wouldn't recognise a board. Couldn't figure out if it was the controller or this particular board so no guarantees if either piece of equipment is working.

Not looking for any money for the parts, just to cover shipping. Happy to post worldwide but would need to get a postage quote for each enquiry so please give me some time to respond.

Please comment here (no PM's unless asked for) so I can keep track of enquiries.

Pictures can be posted if needed.

Thanks.
89  Bitcoin / Hardware / PWM splitter from control board on: October 05, 2016, 08:12:45 PM
Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had used a PWM splitter from any Antminer controlboards? How did it react? Obviously it would run at the same speed as the attached fans but just wondered if it was possible.

Thanks.
90  Bitcoin / Hardware / Are S7LN and S7 hashboards the same? on: October 02, 2016, 09:53:34 AM
Hi everyone,

Well my S7LN has decided to drop a board. Just stopped working all of a sudden. Havent had a chance to take it out yet and inspect it but got to think of the possibility of a replacement.

So are the regular S7 boards the same as the S7LN boards?

Thanks.
91  Economy / Service Discussion / Can't access bitmains shop? on: September 29, 2016, 08:14:56 PM
Just tried to look to see if they have got new batches available and I can't seem to view it. Main site is up but "antminer" section isn't accessible.

Anyone else having problems?
92  Bitcoin / Hardware / S9 blade on S7 controller? on: September 27, 2016, 08:55:04 PM
Yet another curiousity question from me  Cheesy

Now I'm not very computer savvy when it comes to in depth things but I'm not stupid and open to learning etc

Basically can you run and S9 blade on an S7 controller? If not why not?

Thanks.
93  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / What's better? High freq or more ASICs? on: September 22, 2016, 08:03:54 AM

I'm limited to how much electricity I can use, mainly because of the price but also because of the heat and ventilation of it aswell. So this is a curiousity question more than anything and I'd like to hear people views too.

What's better:-

More ASICs at a lower speed

Or

Fewer ASICs but at a higher speed.

Now I know you can have the same hashrate with both but from my view more ASICs at a lower speed would be better because you've got more little guys working things out and not generating the higher temp (but of course more volume of heat as there are more of them).

What are your views?
94  Bitcoin / Hardware / Anyone got hands on an R4? on: September 20, 2016, 08:10:49 PM
Just wondering if anyone has an R4 and what the experience is like so far. Does it perform as expected? Have you had any problems similar to the ones that have plagued the S9?
95  Economy / Scam Accusations / "NetflixGifts" PayPal money request on: September 18, 2016, 11:07:17 PM
Not posted in here before but thought I should tell everyone.

I did a trade with a relatively new account which had some feedback :-

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=841740

Trade went ok for $21 of btc. I got the btc and he got my PayPal.

Well I have just received a PayPal money request from the same user saying they "could not get access to the funds to send to accounts" and could I send the payment again and they will refund the first one.

Obviously I've declined the request and messaged the above account (which has had everything removed, no posts, no feedback etc) asking what the hell is going on.

I've yet to get a reply but will update if I do.
96  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitcoin Toolbar Price Ticker on: September 12, 2016, 05:20:41 PM
Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the right section but mods feel free to move it Wink

Just wondering if anyone knows of a toolbar for Internet Explorer that has a bitcoin price ticker. It would be a useful thing to have.

Thanks.
97  Bitcoin / Hardware / Has anyone found a block with S9 or BMminer? on: September 09, 2016, 11:08:58 AM
Hi everyone,

Just a curiousity question really. Since Bitmain have changed the GUI and developed their BMminer and not shared it in accordance with open source regulations, I was curious to know if anyone can confirm they have found a block with a miner running their version of software.

May sound a stupid question but I've never dealt with them before. How easy is it to buy from them?
