62  Economy / Computer hardware / (WTB) All Old AsicMiner USB Miners on: November 28, 2014, 04:58:56 AM
Hi Everyone,

I am once again buying the old USB miners from AsicMiner.  As we all know, these miners don't make anything anymore, so why not let me take them off of your hands, and give you a few dollars in the process?

I am willing to pay $4 per unit.  This is over a fair price in my eyes and will be more than you will get by letting it run.

If you have any questions please post them below, I am only buying the AsicMiner USB miners, any solicitations for other items will be ignored.

They will also need to be shipped to KS zip code 66221.  Please factor that into before posting as it will probably not be economical to ship overseas for only a few units.  If you have enough units, I am willing to entertain the idea of working out shipping costs.

Thanks for taking the time to look!

63  Economy / Currency exchange / (WTB) Need Paysafecard or Ukash have Bitcoin on: November 13, 2014, 05:45:47 PM
I have .075 Bitcoin and need a Paysafecard or Ukash in the amount of 25 Euros.

This is a very small amount and as such I will forego the use of escrow and say that you must send first.  (Please look at my feedback before posting about scam for not using escrow).

Would like to get this done quick and can pay immediately once I have code.  If there are any questions please post below.

EDIT:  Sent in the UK

Thanks,

64  Economy / Services / Possibly Looking For Someone To Collect On Debts Owed To Me on: August 21, 2014, 02:34:05 PM
I have an Ebay customer who bought an S3 from me.  Ebay told me the payment was made and so I shipped the item only later to find on Paypal that the payment was an Echeck and had not cleared the bank yet.  Today, the payment was denied and not put into my Paypal account.  To me, this is a problem on Ebay's hands as they told me to ship the item as payment was made and everything was good when in fact it wasn't, they do not seem to think so, and have referred me to ic3.gov to file a complaint.
I was assured that they would handle it and either get me my money or my item, but after reading up on who they are and what they do, I am not so sure, and even if they do, I doubt it will be timely, so I am guessing I can expect to receive my S3 back sometime next year when it is worthless.  That is why I am potentially looking for someone to visit this person and collect on debts owed.  The person is in Springfield Gardens, NY and I have a name, address, and will get the telephone number from Ebay soon.  I suppose the payment for this service would be based on amount of work required to get my item/money back, I would obviously take the item back, but am thinking at this point this person should pay for missed mining time and any other fees (like this one) I incur as well, but that can be determined later.

This is a feeler thread for now until I see what Ebay will do or if the person contacts me back to get this resolved.  If interested, please post below with qualifications and why you think you can handle this, and also a rough idea of your fees for this.  Obviously time is of the essence in this mining game, so I will be making arrangements sooner rather than later once I hear what Ebay will do.

Note:  To my knowledge this type of thread is not against forum rules.  I have seen many others posting similar threads, but if there is something I am missing, please let me know and the thread will be taken down.
65  Economy / Computer hardware / (WTB) Older and Outdated Equipment on: July 11, 2014, 01:18:07 AM
Hey everyone, I am looking to continue to add to my collection of used and older miners.  This is an excellent time to get rid of some old miners you have sitting around that are gathering dust because they are unprofitable to run anymore.  Since I do not really want to update this everyday, I will post the price I am willing to pay in USD, and the amounts will be converted into bitcoin when a deal is struck.

Right off the bat, please do not PM me with what you would take for the items I have listed.  I am sorry, but I have priced these out (most of them cost more to run than they make anyway, and my price is more than they will make in the rest of their life times), and that is the max dollar I am willing to pay for them.  In other words, prices are not negotiable.  Please also note that these must be in good condition with none to minimal visual scratches (basically normal wear and tear is acceptable).

Here is my list of things I am currently buying, if you have something not listed, please leave a message on this thread (not a PM) and I will look into if I am interested in buying it...

Butterfly Labs Equipment

Jalapeno's - $45 each
Must run at least 5 GH/s and come with all original parts, PSU, and USB cable.

Little Single - $75 each
Must run at least 30 GH/s and come with all original parts, PSU, and USB cable.

Single - $150 each
Must run at least 50 GH/s and come with all original parts, PSU, and USB cable.

Will take all butterfly labs equipment without USB cable, but will take off $8 of price per missing cable.

Bitmain Equipment

U1 - $7 each
Must run at least 1.6 GH/s and come with original box, will take of $2 per missing box.

U2 - $8 each
Must run at least 2 GH/s (or whatever they are not overclocked 1.7 GH/s?) and come with original box.  Will take them without the original box, but will take off $2 per missing box.

Gridseed Equipment

Gridseed Blade Miner - $300 each
Must mine at 5.2 MH/s and come with original parts

5 chip Gridseed units - $25 each
Must work perfectly, must include USB cable, does not need PSU.

DualMiner USB Sticks - $20 each
Must mine scrypt and SHA-256, original box is preferred.

AsicMiner Equipment

Original AsicMiner Blades - $20 each
Must run above 10 GH/s.

Asicminer Blade Backplane - $45 each
Must include all original parts for plug and play action.

Block Eruptor Cube - $40 each
Must run 37-38 GH/s.

Block Eruptor 49 Port Hub - $90
Must have proper fuse and work flawlessly.  No melting of fuse.

Block Eruptor - $2
I am need of certain colors to round out my collection, but really these aren't even worth shipping, so I am buying these with either you pay shipping or whether you are selling something else and throw them in the box.  Need the original jewel case they come in.

BlackArrowSoftware Equipment

Minion Chips - $25 each
Buying only in pairs of 8, must have in hand or tracking for them.

I hope to add to this list and refine it and keep it as up to date as possible.  If you are interested in parting with your items then please either reply below or send me a PM.  We can do escrow on your dime, or you can trust me and send first (please see amount of trust I have before making a decision).  Shipping to me will be on a case by case basis, but I will try to make it fair, usually splitting costs with you (I highly doubt this will make sense to ship from out of the US, so lets limit interest to US only).

Thanks for your interest and please let me know!

67  Economy / Services / Need a "Tax Flag" Made for my Group Project on: June 10, 2014, 05:34:02 PM
Hi Everyone,

Looking for someone who is good/decent with photoshop.  I need a team flag for a company project for my group called, "The Tax Evaders" (we are the tax group for my company).   Use your imagination, and make it fun!

I am willing to pay .02 btc to the person who I select as our winner.  I do not care what you make it in, as long as I can print it on a 11 x 17 piece of paper in color.

Please post entries below, and I will select the one I like the most and send money once i receive the file to my email.

Thanks!
68  Economy / Computer hardware / Buying Jalapeno's and some Block Eruptors on: June 09, 2014, 10:35:03 PM
Hey Everyone,

Looking to add to my collection of some older gear and to round off my collection of some other stuff.  Please note right off the bat, I will not send payment first.  I have very good rep here from being around for a long time and doing many of these type of deals.  If you do not trust me, we can use escrow at your expense.

Please also take shipping into consideration, you will be sending to 66221 KS.

1) I need certain colors of block eruptors as follows...
0 silver
3 red
1 black
1 shiny red
9 blue
9 gold
10 of whatever last color I am missing

They must be in excellent condition with no scratches anywhere and must come with the jeweled case (also in good condition).

For the bounties above, I am paying .005 btc per eruptor on the list and .0025 per eruptor that is not part of the colors I need.  If sending more than 5, I will add another .01 btc for shipping costs.

You can view the expected payout per eruptor https://tradeblock.com/mining/a/143ac3cc09

2) I am buying jalapeno's, they must get at least 5 GH/s and be in good condition with all original parts and must include power supply and USB cord.  They can be faster than 5 GH/s models, but the price is still the same.  I am paying .05 btc per Jalapeno.  If you sell more than 5, I will add .05 btc to help with shipping.
The expected payout on the Jalapeno is https://tradeblock.com/mining/a/7cbbc7a3b1
As you can see, given the very favorable conditions (ones that will not happen as 15% increase a month is unrealistic, and no electricity cost) you will still make more selling to me than mining with it.

I reserve the right to cancel the deal at any time for any reason.

Thank you for your interest in reading this thread and please let me know either through PM or posting here if there is any interest.  Have a great day!
69  Economy / Lending / Want to Borrow 6 Btc for 6 Days (CLOSED) on: May 06, 2014, 05:34:58 PM
EDIT: I have closed this down, got it from a friend and no longer need it.

Thanks for the interest.

I am not sure if this loan will be fulfilled, as it is based solely off of my reputation, but I am looking for a 6 bitcoin loan.  I hate asking my friend for it, but if this gets a poor response I might have to.

Basically, I have orders in at coinbase for 2 btcs to be delivered this Friday the 9th, and 4 btcs to be delivered Monday the 12th.  The problem is, I would like those bitcoins now, as I need to do a few things with them.

So here is my offer, I can either repay the entire 6 bitcoins on Monday, or the 2 this Friday and the 4 on Monday. (By the end of the day)

I am asking for a 5.95 btc loan today, for 6 btc repaid in less than 6 days.  I am not sure what the APR comes out to on that, but if someone would like to calculate it be my guest.

I have nothing currently to offer as collateral, which is why I am not sure if anyone will take this loan based on rep alone.  I have somewhere around 100K Doge, and some invested btc.  But I have plenty of cash and a stable job, and since the bitcoin is already purchased from Coinbase (and the cash taken from my bank account) I am not worried about being able to repay this.  Can send pics of buys on coinbase if requested.

Please let me know if there is anyone interested.

Edit:  Dropped loan amount to 5.9 bitcoin loaned and will return the 6 bitcoin next Monday.
70  Economy / Computer hardware / (WTB) Antminer U1 USB Sticks Paying 150% What They Will Make on: March 09, 2014, 08:44:06 PM
According to
http://thegenesisblock.com/mining/a/b80c6218f2
a 1.6 GH/s USB stick will only mine .02 btc in the rest of their life, and that is under very generous conditions..  I am willing to pay .03 btc per stick.  If your selling more than 5, I will also throw in .025 extra btc to take care of shipping.

Please PM if your interested, and we can get something set up.

Thanks,

71  Economy / Computer hardware / (WTB) AsicMiner USB Miners!!! on: February 26, 2014, 06:36:52 PM
Got a bunch of extra USB miners laying around not making any more bitcoin?  I will take them off of your hands, at a price that is beneficial to you!  I am currently paying .01 btc per USB miner!  Please figure in shipping to KS 66221 when you ask to sell as it may not be worth it to send only 3 or 4 of them to me, when you are only getting .03 or .04 btc total, but for larger orders, it could be worth it.

I will promptly pay for all miners once they are in my possession and I have verified that they are in working order.  Usually within 24 hours of tracking saying they have arrived at my address.  If interested, please post here or PM me.

Thanks for your interest and take care!
72  Economy / Currency exchange / Do You Want to Buy Btc With Cash????? on: February 23, 2014, 08:31:14 PM
I would like to help some people who are having trouble buying bitcoin by selling it for cash.  I have noticed a lack of reputable people on these forums that offer a service like this, so I would like to help those who want to buy some btc.

Here is how it works, if you live in the United States, and want to buy bitcoin with USD, please send me a PM with how many btc you would like to buy for cash.  I will respond with the how much you need to mail to me, and if accepted, will provide the address to send the money to.  You mail the cash, and once received I will send the agreed upon btc to whatever address you provide.

Special Notes:
Price will be coinbase price + 5%
I accept USD or cashiers check, Western Union is also a possibility.  Other forms of payment may be accepted, feel free to ask.  I will not accept paypal though.
You will be given the agreed upon btc no matter what happens to the price during transit of the money.  The btc and payment amount are set before any deal is made.  I also need to have the money before any btc will be sent.
Refunds will not be provided, I am not a hedging service, and as such all sales are final.
It is highly recommended that you use tracking with any cash sent as I cannot be held responsible for any lost payments due to mail issues.  It is also recommended that you wrap the cash in a piece of paper to make it less visible when held up to light.

I have a lot of good rep on this forum, and have many users who have left kind words and who would vouch for me.  For these reasons I offer this service for people.  To be able to buy from a trustworthy user who will insure you receive your btc.

If you have any questions please let me know and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

Thanks,

DebitMe
73  Economy / Computer hardware / (WTS) Prospero X-3 Batch 1 Unit on: February 17, 2014, 08:16:16 PM
I have for sale a Batch 1 Prospero X-3 that I am looking to sell for bitcoin.  Black Arrow has announced that the unit will run without overclock at 120 GH/s per chip, which would bring the 20 chips in the X-3 to 2.4 TH/s  This unit comes with the extra 25% hashing for 6 months. which brings the total hashrate for it to 2.8Th/s, and was bought through Minersource.  I am currently gauging interest and if an offer grabs my attention I will sell it.

Note:  This item is slated for batch 1 delivery from BlackArrow on May 1st.  I bought it through minersource along with 8 X-1's, and as such I will have to reship the item to you from US, as I cannot transfer control of the account to buyer.  Shipping costs will be included at time of bitcoin transfer, which will be when we make a deal and coins are sent, not when the unit ships.  In the event that more delays happen, the buyer assumes all risk of not receiving unit, but is also awarded any extra incentives that BA gives for late delivery.  This is not a thread to discuss the merits of BA and as such, any posts off topic will be deleted, they have a thread for that type of discussion.

I reserve the right to refuse any offer and can change my mind about selling up to the point when bitcoins are transferred to my account.  After bitcoins are sent, the unit is the sellers, and can only be reversed by mutual agreement between both parties.  I will reship the unit immediately after receiving, but can test for as long as buyer wants to ensure working unit, to my own pool, before shipment.  After shipment I am not responsible for miner in any way, and any claims should be directed to MinerSource and BlackArrow.

If there are questions please post them in the thread and I will do my best to answer them.
74  Economy / Computer hardware / SOLD (WTS) Sapphire R9 280X GPU on: February 13, 2014, 06:04:02 PM
Hi guys,

I have an extra Sapphire R9 280X GPU sitting around that I would like to sell for btc.  Was planning to put it in my rig, but things did not quite work out and I now want to sell it.  Mines stably at about 700 KH/s for scrypt coins, was only used to mine with for about 3 weeks, still in perfect condition.  Here is a link for the card...
http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Version-PCI-Express-Graphics-11221-00-20G/dp/B00FLMKNE0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1392314418&sr=8-1&keywords=sapphire+280X

It contains 2 6-pin PCIe connectors for power.

Will ship anywhere in the United States 2 day priority, or faster if you pay for it.

Looking for .7 btc for it, and that includes shipping.  Thanks for your interest!

EDIT: I reserve the right to change asking price at will up to the time the coins are sent, based on current market price.

EDIT 2: I actually have 3 of these, really only want to part with 1, but if the price is right for 3 I may let them go, feel free to offer for any combination from 1 to 3 Smiley
75  Bitcoin / Mining support / My Computer Burned I Think on: February 04, 2014, 04:55:12 PM
I am having some trouble with the computer that I build a few weeks ago.  For the last 2 days I have been finding it randomly shutting down and restarting, which I was attributing to Windows Update installing updates, but last night my gf said she smelled burning plastic when it shut down and resat and I turned it off overnight and was planning to look at it this morning. This morning I decided to turn it on and start mining, since it usually takes a few hours to restart, and went to go work out in my living room.  About 20 minutes later there was a strong smell of burning and I ran into my room to find that it had shut down again.  This smell of burning though was much stronger than last night, but the weird thing is, I am unable to find anything that actually melted.

I proceeded to open up the computer and check all of the connectors going to and from the PSU.  They all seem to be intact and were not too hot to the touch.  Here are the specs of my computer...

1200 Watt NZXT PSU  (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817116022)
3 r280X Sapphire Edition
4th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-4770K 3.5GHz LGA 1150 Processor
GA-Z87X-UD4H Socket LGA 1150 ATX
16 gig RAM
a CD drive and a 2 TB harddrive

My only thought is that the power supply could not handle the load, and inside the power supply is where the melting happened.  Does anyone else have any ideas or other places that I should look?  Hopefully its just the power supply and I can buy a higher rated wattage to get back up and running, but I am not totally sure.  Any ideas would be appreciated and welcomed.

Thanks!
76  Economy / Computer hardware / (WTS) 400 GF/s worth of BFL Gear on: January 31, 2014, 05:49:13 PM
I am looking to offload some BFL 65 nm gear that I am having a hard time selling for cash, so Ill try for Btc.  Currently I have...

3 60 GH/s units
2 50 GH/s units
3 30 GH/s units

(There might be another 30 GH/s unit in there I would have to check)

Please post offers below, I reserve the right to refuse any offer that I do not deem acceptable.  Shipping will be from 66221 USA so please add shipping costs into your offer.

I have a lot of trust on here and have many instances of sending coins after goods were received.  For this reason do not ask me to ship first, worst case scenario we will use an escrow such as DyslexicZombie, Bobsag3, or someone else we can agree on.  It would be faster to not use escrow but I understand concerns and am willing to work with people.

Please post offers and have a nice day.

Also I have about 50 or so block eruptors I am looking for about .03 btc ea for, price is non negotiable on these so dont ask.  Although a deal may be struck if you buy bulk.
77  Bitcoin / Mining support / Having Some Trouble Getting GA-Z87X-UD4H to recognize 2nd GPU on: January 12, 2014, 10:39:03 PM
http://www.microcenter.com/product/414773/GA-Z87X-UD4H_Socket_LGA_1150_ATX_Intel_Motherboard

There is the link to the MOBO, I can get it to detect the first Sapphire R9 280X GPU, but cannot for the life of me get it to detect the 2nd card.  The card has power going to it as the fans turn on and I even have it plugged into a monitor just in case.

Currently have only used it with a riser (tried a 1x to 16x riser in the 1x slot as well as a 16x to 16x riser in the 2nd PCI 16x slot) and getting nothing with either method.  I am going out tonight to buy a new wireless NIC card to replace the one that occupies the PCIe slot so that I can put it directly onto the board and try that, but otherwise I am not sure what else to do?

I would appreciate any suggestions from someone who has the same MOBO or someone who has any ideas.  I thought I might have to go into the BIOS and change a setting but I cannot find anything to change that would relate to detecting multiple cards.  Any help or advice or things to try is welcomed and thanks for your help Smiley
78  Economy / Computer hardware / (WTB) AsicMiner USB Eruptors on: January 07, 2014, 04:16:23 AM
Hi all, I am in need of more asicminer USB Eruptors.  I have made many purchases of these in the recent past, check my trust, and as such will require shipping or at least a tracking number before I pay.  Note: If you do not have any trust, do not even ask for me to pay before I receive units.

Here is what I am paying...
1-10   - .025 ea
10+    - .0275 ea

Based on the genesis block calculations at a mere 30% difficulty increase per month (very low, will not happen.  Try at least double that) these will make .0144 Btc assuming no power and no other costs such as hubs and whatnot.  Based on these calculations, this is a good deal IMO.

If you have any questions or want to make a deal, please post here or message me.

Thanks

BUYING AGAIN!!! PAYING .01 btc per USB stick!

I will buy all of your block eruptors at .01 Btc ea.  If your interested in selling please let me know.  I will pay for shipping as well which will be determined when we figure out how many block eruptors you have, but they should fit pretty well inside of the flat rate shipping boxes in the US.

Thank you for your time.
