1  Economy / Exchanges / Does anyone have experience with the bitcoin shift debit card? on: October 28, 2017, 04:40:26 PM
I just ordered a bitcoin shift debit card and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it. The big problem with the bitpay one is many places online that put the number in, dont register it as a valid number. Has anyone ever had this problem with the shift US bitcoin card?

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN]Fart Token [FRT] the World’s First Gas Backed ICO on: August 24, 2017, 09:49:30 AM
Welcome to the world of Fartcoin, the new commerce system build for the future and backed by a tangible, smellable asset.

There will be a total of 511,350 tokens issued. This represents the number of days for the next 100 years multiplied by the average amount of farts a person has daily.

Each token is backed by a ball jar filled with a single fart and sealed to keep freshness and intrinsic value intact.

If you wish to claim your fart token for a jar of my farts you will simply sign a transaction with your shipping address and send it to the developers and I will ship it to you. There will be a minimal charge to cover the shipping costs and there will be a month waiting time before you can actually claim your jar of farts, in order to make sure I have enough supply and there wont be a run on the bank.

You may be thinking “How is the currency fungible, if every fart is different?” Well to that I respond that I will be eating the same diet that promoted healthy bowel movements in order to maximize the amount of farts and the consistency over a long period of time. True connoisseurs will be able to tell the difference between my brand and the brand of impostors who wish to try and pawn off their cheap stank as authentic.

The ICO will start in exactly seven days from now and we will limit the investment to 100 million dollars. Anymore than that im afraid we will have to turn down. We believe in a world where one day we can build an economy off the product of my hard earned eating labor. Tell all your friends about this once in a lifetime opportunity.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / coins with a distribution linked to bitcoin other than byteball or just airdops? on: April 29, 2017, 01:07:22 PM
I have seen the byteball project and lumens let you connect a bitcoin address and distribute coins that way. Are there any other coins with a distribution phase similar to that? Are there also any good airdrops coming up? It is hard to monitor all these coins, so any help would be apprecaited!
5  Other / Meta / Any way to get my old account back? on: April 25, 2017, 04:01:51 PM
My main account, calaber24p,  was hacked about a year ago and I have been trying to get it back since then, but found it near impossible. I have messaged theymos on reddit around 5 times (about once every month) in the last year, but he never responds. Has the forum had any change in ways to help recover my account, or am I still just shit out of luck? I can show the last post I made, I should only have 2 areas where the account was ever accessed ect. Things the person on the account wouldnt know.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Question about segwit on: April 05, 2017, 09:56:48 PM
This is a technical question so general discussion might not be the best place to ask it, but i figure ill give it a try. With the segwit code, is the effective blocksize increase from the removal of the certain code a side effect, or can it be removed while still fixing transaction malleability? Is there a way to just fix transaction malleability and keep the blocksize the same?
7  Economy / Computer hardware / WTS open air gpu mining cases and extenders on: May 23, 2016, 11:02:54 PM
I started bitcoin mining and altcoin mining around 2013 and I have a few leftover open air cases and pci and pci express extenders. These things have literally been laying around my house for years at this point Im willing to sell them for slightly more than the shipping cost. The shipping is expensive which is why I havent bothered to list them but If you are interested in them make an offer. Also let me know where you live so I can calculate the cost of shipping. One is a smaller 5 slot GPU open air case and the other case is a pretty big nice 6 or 8 slot (cant remember which) open air case from openrigs which doesnt sell them anymore. It took a while to get to me so I never opened it and it was just in my garage. I also have 5 pci extenders, 3 medium size 2 extra long and 3 pci express extenders. Here is the album of stuff I have on Imgur. http://imgur.com/a/Aiy1T  Let me know if you are interested. Ill accept Eth or bitcoin or dollars if you come to me to pick it up. Im in NJ if you are willing to drive to me ill sell it all for $40
