1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Worlds first monero based private algorythmic stablecoin. on: March 13, 2021, 02:02:31 PM
I would like to give out this info as its relatively unknown at this stage. I recently discovered a project called Haven Protocol, and immediately I got excited about it as it puts to the table something that is a first. As evident by the title what got me excited is that they managed to create the worlds first monero based stablecoin where anyone can store their money privately just like in monero, but without worrying about its volatility as its pegged to the usd. But they wont stop there as they will soon add many more xAssets as they call them, like $xCNY $xEUR $xBTC $xGOLD $xSLV and many many more (there actually is no limit to what they can add). I believe it will have a huge market as it will operate as an offshore bank with the privacy of monero.

Im very hyped about this, thats why im giving this info out to whoever might not know about this yet. For more info you can visit their website: havenprotocol.org

I have 150$ on my steam wallet. I would like to liquidate that money so I decided to start this service. I will buy you any game or ingame skin (within the price range) in exchange for bitcoin or any other decent cryptocurrency. We can discuss prices and escrow is not a problem for me.

The games will be bought as gifts.

You can pm me or reply on this thread. Or contact me on telegram @VeryBrave

I made a list of consumer PSUs from a few top brands, focused on the number of PCIe connector and Peripheral (4-PIN), capacity, and efficiency. Maybe can be PSUs buying recommendation.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Again, OP was gone! on: April 17, 2018, 03:54:45 PM
Today I found a few threads (I have a few comments in that threads) in this section [Altcoin (mining)]. Opening post with variety trouble, Newbie till Legendary has given their best advice, but OP was gone, how dare you OP.  Angry

This is a simple thing, but an active discussion is one of the ways to reduce spamming nor jumper-poster, but we can't deny that those kinds, related to personality and motivation (self-awareness).

For You, that want to Open new Topic with your whatever (mining) trouble:

Be responsive
Because the result of the discussion will be a good reference for other people that have the same problem. Respond every advice you got. As long as it makes sense, try it then report it.

Be responsible
In the end, confirm your final condition, you have fixed or not, which suggestions that make you fix it. Or may you have your own way? Confirm it.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Miners were reacting to ASICs Expansion. on: April 07, 2018, 09:19:32 AM
In the last few weeks, I have seen many threads discuss ASICs expansion that affecting miners (especially GPU miners). Many of them influence the other for boycott ASICs even boycotting coin itself. And the other reacting calmly. In every situation, there will be two different views. And that is normal.

Then, what would make you different? That's your act.  Each people has own decision and also individual action. Some people willing to lose their profit for paying their believe. The other one doesn't want to lose their profits, then trying to survive in the current situation, some other even didn't care about all of this, there is also a surrender. And many other things.

Personally, I believe in this:

Whatever happened and whoever cause, we need to face the fact. Keep running, cause we are human, we grow and expand. If we are skilled enough and hopper, we can survive.

Keep learning and keep running.
How about you buddy?

7  Other / Meta / How to get merits (guide) on: April 05, 2018, 06:30:18 AM
I felt a bit sad about how people tried to get merits. A day ago I found a newbie thread asking "HOW TO GET MERIT?" that's the exact title (capitalized). I saw almost similar suggestions from other members in a few pages. Somethings like this:

make a quality post,
make useful info,
help to solve another member trouble, etc.

even some people suggesting unuseful one such as:

buying an account,
merits exchange, etc.

And this is the wise way to get merits (Geraldo Version).

1. Just say's, Merits is nothing. Why? Because merits came to you when you were doing something useful, doing the right things, whatever good things. Don't be burdened by Merit, remember cause merit is nothing (that's only prize of what you do).

2. Keep spread positive things.

3. Post on the topic that you really mastered.

If you are GPUs miners
Go to Altcoin discussion, help other people that troubled with their rig, when you have useful info, give the community that info, and so on.

If you are the coders
Go to software sections (I don't know where is that, since I was only active in Altcoin mining,  Cheesy).

If you are traders
Find some board that discusses trading, give your positive view, give your analysis about future price, or whatever.

And so on...

4. How lucky you are?
Whatever it is, luck is exists. I know a few members that have a good knowledge and always post useful things but receive a bit merits. But no problem, even they didn't care about merits, -they just want to be useful-.

And remember the main important thing is Merits is Nothing, so Don't be burdened by Merit. Do your best.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How to ask for help with troubled GPU's Rig (Guide) on: March 24, 2018, 07:13:49 PM
I often find OP ask for help with troubled GPU's Rig with a bit info they gave. Just tried to make it clear, that kind of post won't help.

Applies to anyone asking about troubled GPU's Rig and tried to find the solutions.

First, we're not a mutant with mind-reading ability, and we can't read your minds.

Second, Troubleshoot isn't simple. Not so simple while you hit Enter with your foot finger.

...and many more reasons.

So, please describe to us your problems as clearly as possible.

Describing your devices and software, including:
  • GPUs (including Series, Type, Brands, Memory sizes, Memory type, everything that you know about)
  • Motherboard (including Series, Type, and everything that you know about)
  • PSUs (including Series, Type, Brands, Wattage, etc.)
  • Processor (including Series, Type, etc.)
  • RAM/Memory (Including Sizes and everything that you know about)
  • Storage Drive (Including type and whatever that you want to tell us)
  • Risers (whatever, as clear as possible)
  • Operating Systems you are using.
  • GPUs driver you are using in the current situation.
  • Overclocking Utility software (Including setting you are using)

Some people assume this info above isn't needed, but I can say for sure, it's essential things.

Describing your problems, including:
  • Your act that was causing this trouble, in other words, what you are doing with your Rig before you get in trouble. (If this trouble suspected caused by your act before)
  • If this trouble comes itself, just describe to us as clearly as possible.
  • What have you tried to do to fix that problem? Tell us as clearly as possible.
  • Add pictures when possible.

Don't forget to Say thanks, when solved and lock the thread after.

Additional tips: If possible, provide testing tools needed and also devices spare (PSUs, RAM, Storage drive, even mouse, and keyboard).

Maybe someone wants to add more info required, go ahead. It now seems enough.

If it's a duplicate post, I'm sorry! Just tried to make this forum better. Let's start with little things, if you don't care, Ciao Adios!

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / A new coin idea. Tell me what you think. on: November 02, 2017, 04:35:29 PM
Hello there, I had this idea yesterday while on the toilet, of making a website where everyone could sell their own goods online, digital or physical, and get payed in "Nespo" (as I called it) by the buyer. Something like ebay but for crypto. Dont know if something like this exists already.

It might be a stupid idea but its been rolling in my head for the last day. What do you think?

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀 Next BIG MOON Landing! 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀 on: September 24, 2017, 12:44:29 PM
The next big rise will be XBL.. or billionaire token. A 2 day old coin that sold out on the ico before it even ended, has a total supply of 3,315,372 xbl and is currently traded in cryptopia for only 0.36cents or 10k satoshi. It already is at positive 250%+ from its ico price of 10 cents.. But this is only the beggining.

Just to give you a comparison with other coins that have a similarly low supply.

Zcoin :   Currenlty traded for 11$

Cloakcoin  :    Currently traded for 7$

And there are many more coins, even shitcoins with low supply that are above 5$..

Basically low supply coins all have a value of above 5$, thats what they are designed to be, high value coins. So I see this going to more than 3 dollars in the next 2 months or less. Due to its low supply, with only 3 million $ marketcap it can go to 1$ of value. And it is currently only listed in cryptopia, but devs are moving lightning fast in this coin and are planning to list on other bigger exchanges in the next few weeks.

I would suggest you get in on the rocket asap, the low price will not last for long. But of course, as always, do your own research and decide on your own.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / EOS is another centralized clusterfuck. on: May 24, 2017, 10:41:41 AM
Quote
Dan Larimer introducing his project, probably the same they tried to collaborate with you with a couple of months ago:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uPzTk5f5w4

No worries it is the same DPoS governance crap:

https://youtu.be/4uPzTk5f5w4?t=797

Dan can not do what I am creating.

The EOS thread is here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1904415.20

(why did he name his project after a  camera. I worked on EOS Photomodeler in the 1990s)

To elaborate, DPoS is a winner-take-all clusterfuck of whales same as for Steemit. Dan has done nothing to solve the centralized problem, which is the same problem PoW has as right now the whales (which are the miners as I explained to @Dorky) are fighting over who will control Bitcoin (and Litecoin) and thus be able to raise the transaction fees exponentially with a constrained blocksize. For Steemit, the whales siphon off all the collectivized witness fees and collectivized voting rewards (I had explained in my Steemit article why the math makes it impossible for it be any other way for voting renumeration design). For Dash, PIVX, etc ... same centralized clusterfuck.

Dan's design does not charge transaction fees directly, but they are charged collectively.

Dan's designs will always be top-down controlled disasters, same as Steemit and can not be the world changing decenrtralized blockchain that Bitnet will be.

PoW, (D)Pos, and Ethereum's faulty consensus design... none of it is decentralized.

More ICO nonsense and more throwing our money away.

This will all be explained better and more exhaustively on Bitnet's documentation eventually.

Bitnet is coming... no ICO ...

I was right on Bitcoin.

No you are not. 2MB does not alleviate the exponential demand increase. And SegWit enables Lightning Networks which will put more demand for on chain transactions.

You will always be wrong. Sorry. Eventually you will respect me.

Also I hope you saw the Coindesk article that even the miners are sending transactions to themselves to bloat the blockchain and force the fees higher. The 2MB is a joke.

PoW is a centralized winner-take-all design. Satoshi designed it that.
