I've got a couple of spare BTC for speculative coins that have something interesting to add.
I mined GRS shortly after launch to test the energy saving benefits. It is by far the best.
What's the general plan for GRS?
general plan is to keep optimizing and developing groestl mining on all platforms: AMD+NVIDIA+INTEL+ARM some short term plans almost certainly include: 1. android + iOS wallet combined with optimized ARM NEON miner. The ARM miner is no gimmick and early testing indicates ARM mining already has same power efficiency as GPU mining (hashrate/watts) (see above) 2. new paper wallet / logo refresh (see above) 3. soft relaunch with a little rebranding + PR push 3. change the tagline to: [ANN] [GRS] GroestlCoin: Democratizing Mining | AES Accelerated | Ultimate PoW4. Go to Austria to eat some Groeestl. 5. Kick some crypto ass!

Hi Cryptonit! NOMP pool software supports coins switching right out of the box (see my NOMP post on previous page). You just need to provide a script to detect which coin is more profitable and figure out what to do with login address. I was planning to implement this feature on my cryptohunger pool after you launch. Thanks srcxxx

im not talking about coin switching im talking about merged mining one miner that mine 2 coins at the same time like bitcoin and namecoin litecoin and fusioncoin i want diamond and groestlcoin mining hashes created are counting for both coins merged mining https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Merged_mining_specificationi think u should see that as an additional promotion and value added to your coin (and ours) me paying a bounty for it is only a little bonus

Hey,
Does groestlcoin have a block explorer with api?
Hi! We have this block explorer: http://grs.42tx.com/ (don't think it has API though) And I was planning to add Abe Block Explorer when I have time. Do you need it for something or just asking? (If you need it, I might try to add the Abe explorer asap) Thanks srcxxx

i dont care who is parent blockchain as long as hashrate do the work to secure network on both networks but im afraid its much easyer to implement if diamond is the parent because we have POS too and it could be trycky doing it the other way around but basical i dont care i just wana add value to both coins

Then let's make GroestlCoin the parent. To reasons: GroestlCoin had the first Groestl algo implementation, so it makes sense. Also, it means I don't need to make any changes to GRS wallet :-) Topping up my bounty offer to 50,000. Now that's 100,000 GRS! Thanks

someone teached us first coin with groestl algo was myriadcoin........ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580725.msg6411448#msg6411448really if it doesnt matter what coin is parent and which one is aux hashing we should choose by decide in which code its easyer to implement and the non change wallet reason is poor.... but the increased bounty is welcome

Hi! Are you using version 1.0.1.3 from here: http://www.groestlcoin.org/downloads/? We used to have this problem, but I believe it's gone with that previous update. Perhaps you just need to wait a few seconds? PS: I installed two new Linux wallets yesterday (while setting up the NOMP pool), they synced no problem. Thanks

Quoth gruve_p … our Satoshi gpu miner for this already exist, see myriad
myriad groestl algo is not "pure" groestl... in myriad groestl is used groestl+sha256 OK. Then let's make GroestlCoin the parent. To reasons: GroestlCoin had the first Groestl algo implementation, so it makes sense. Also, it means I don't need to make any changes to GRS wallet :-)

I am wondering about what my 7970L should be mining at. sgminer says about 11.5Mh/s for my 2x 7970L. using -g 1 -I 19 TC 22400
