61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Tangerine (Ex-Mandarin) - Democratic Cryptocurrency Exchange on: November 09, 2018, 09:26:56 PM
The scammers have (maybe) resurfaced.

Preface: as a security and privacy precaution I'm always using different email addresses for every website I register at. They are random and unguessable, and all forward to my primary inbox.

A day ago or so, I received an email advertising an ICO called Aircraft.Travel to the email address I registered at Mandarin with. I never used this email for anything else (that's the point of using one-time addresses). I have never received anything to that address that wasn't Mandarin/Tangerine related. I have never heard of this AIrcraft.Travel thing, and never subscribed to them.

Therefore at the very least, those Aircraft.Travel guys somehow has access to email database of Mandarin/Tangerine. My friend who was a fellow investor in Mandarin, also received their email.

However, they do not seem to list anyone from Tangerine team on their website (although they do have a couple of Russian names).

So, just throwing this out here. Thoughts?

PS: They have their own thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4935341.340

Hmmm havent received a mail from them yet....ill let you know if it receive one in future...
Appreciate that someone beside me still keeps an eye open for them in the cryptoworld.

Check out this write up on SophiaTX and the Auto Industry
https://medium.com/@sethschachle/sophia-tx-automotive-industry-5dbbdab757f3

I hope you're right, but I haven't seen any indication that these companies are interested in SophiaTX. Speaking on a conference or being in close proximity doesn't really make a partnership more likely. Any large partnership announcement would be great though  Cheesy

Would have been awesome if SophiaTX was on a SAP NOW/Forum event like MODUM was last year in switzerland

Attention! Do not transfer your STE tokens between addresses after you've got them from the STE SHOP or they will be no longer qualified for the 20% pool part of the distributions!

Quote
It is very important to enter YOUR OWN wallet address from which you are going to send ETH and buy STE tokens.

I thought those tokens have to be on the exchange in the STE(H) wallet? can i use that wallet address for buying ste? but its an exchange wallet...

If you simply want to hold them and get the dividens 100% in ETH so you can keep them on the ETH-Wallet outside the exchange.
If you are interested to get some dividends in A2A, too (70% in A2A and 30% in ETH) so keep them on the STE(H) wallet on the exchange.
And if you want to trade them then kepp them on the STE wallet on the exchange.

Sorry i might have not explained myself clearly. My question is, if I can transfer my STE from private wallet to STE (H) without losing the 20% bonus as the quote above indicates that the 20% is lost upon transfering between addresses. Before it was possible to transfer to exchange STE (h) and still have 100%

Today the STE-SHOP has been launched!
You can now buy the 100% (primary) STE tokens there.
Please note that the price is changing dynamically by the smart contract depending on the amount of the STE tokens left!
Starting price is 0.004 ETH/STE or 4 ETH per 1,000 STE) and the last token might be sold at 0.1 ETH/STE (100 ETH / 1000 STE).
The current price in the STE SHOP is 0.0040837 ETH/STE  or 4.0837 ETH per 1,000 STE).
The current STE supply available in the STE SHOP is 9,790,616.37 STE.

70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [AMLT] The Token of Compliance by Coinfirm on: October 11, 2018, 02:14:26 PM
10 month this project but just can be trade on https://wallet.latoken.com/market/Crypto/ETH/AMLT-ETH And little exchanger ?
Why dev not list again in another biggest exchange , example is binance or bittrex , if dev not do this , I think is so hard to the moon .

This project still has a long way to go, but as far as i'm concerned, i prefer the slow and steady approach they took.
They're working carefully and thoroughly to create a standard, this takes time. Clients will come to the tried and tested platform that AMLT is about to become.

I'm HODLing hard here.

Its not like you have a choice if you invested during the ICO:P
Right after golive, it went downhill and never had a high again
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: October 01, 2018, 11:11:20 AM
This is bullish news and if still someone doesn't get where the XLM is heading for then should not told anything. Those two features are really unique and will move the market and adoption of exchanging platform being backed by Stellar. I was referring at fiat gateway and zero commission. It will get users easily why because of name and reputation which Stellar has built already.

How do you see the marketcap for stellar?

I really like stellar as a technology and everything but it always boils down to me personally as having such a huge marketcap already...:/

after block 191998 of 204284 synchronization is stopped
what can I do to continue synchronization
I was asking that in discord and was banned. Because I said that proposed "solution" to load blockchain as a zip file with higher blocks data then those around ~191997 is a crutch, not a solution as itself. Yes it works, but you will always need to do that if by some reason blockchain should sync from scratch.
Dev is complaining about some windows update that spoils the sync. Dozens of other wallet sync - if they not sync their devs fix it.
But this "dev" think that unability to sync from scratch is normal. Strange logic.

Its not unusual to get banned there. One of the devs wants to have an echo chamber and doesnt allow any discussions/critics (yes constructive critics and not FUD). What bothers me as well was, that you dont get any warning/reason before you get banned, you just get banned and then unbanned after some time.

Thats the reason im not in discord anymore and just follow the project through bitcointalk and other channels.

Man...someone could just write down all those usernames in this topic and would have a list of people he could scam for thousands/millions, who would just accept it without any noise.

I lost my money in exchange Tangerine ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=345353 ).

Thanks for the links. Left a account review and commented on that thread as well + will follow it.

77  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DavidHume - Tangerin ICO : scam accusation on: September 13, 2018, 08:50:39 AM
Dear community,

I feel like I need to share you some details about a scammer account.

DavidHume started an ICO ANN post in August 2017. (See it here)
Its ICO raised money, but the account of DavidHume stopped to connect in March 2018.
The website of the project is down for a while. (https://tangerine.is)
I suspect this account of being bought, because it was created in 2014, and has a low activity. It came back in activity just to launch its ICO and raise money. Then, it disappeared.

In order to avoid this account of re-doing other scams and being trusted for its longevity, I decided to distrust him, and to invite you in this post to do the same. (Trust panel)
As a reference, do not hesitate to add this post.

Thank you if you are sharing my point of view.

Kind regards,
Arpetuos

You are not right. The site was offline, technical work. See Twitter! The site is working. And you're just a fool)

You are incorrect, the website was only shortly online again. Since then it has been offline for months.

I can verify the accusations of OP. This ICO scammed me as well and run off with all the investors funds.

i also have interest in the project. i like the updates the team provides it shows the are working behind the scenes with listings, exchanges, website, platform and so on. i also saw some people harp on that the business is dead; UNTRUE.
to you i say, if you want to get rich fast but a lottery ticket and hope for the best . i will take my chance and hope this business will lift off around beginning 2019
