Anyone knows a free replacement for mining OS like ethOS? Currently I'm not in the situation to pay all these licenses, since I have a lot of rigs and makers of ethOS and other paid mining systems just ask too much.
Any suggestions?

Update the BIOS of the Motherboard. If i'm not mistaken, the mining one should be version F23a, after that turn on the Mining Mode and/or Above 4G decoding. Also if you flashed those cards, you gotta use ATI patcher after fresh installation of drivers.

Same settings, Gigabyte P104-100 GDDR5X 4GB, cant go over 30mhs?

So couple of them arrived today, planning to mount 13x P106s with dual PSU on it...
Now, here's the issue. I can't get more than 4 GPUs working on ethOS. Tried replacing the riser 4 times (4 different raisers), tried replacing the GPU with another one, tried with another PCI-E slot, still nothing, sees 4 GPUs.
Anyone has a solution for this issue? It's quite urgent.
Thanks a lot!

I got GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8GB and I use:
Powerlimit: 85% Core Clock: -50 Memory Clock: +580 Fan: 60% Hash: 30Mh/s

Seems like the 6pin powered risers didn't solve the issue. Rig did work stable for longest period now, think it was something over 24hrs. Plugged out 1 GPU to see is 6x GPUs causing it to crash... Every GPU was on separate cable on PSU but still crashed... Out of ideas now
EDIT: Now my x4 1070 rigs are crashing too. Same shit all over again, Either GPU1/2/3/4 has stopped working bla bla, crashes the whole rig... Can anyone provide me with a solution?
Also, I've got a Gigabyte H110-D3A on those 1070 rigs, could that be the issue? Put one as a test back on AsRock to see for a test, will let ya know
EDIT2: Yep, AsRock didnt make a difference. Sometimes it crashes with a freeze

Seems like 6x pin powered risers solved my issue with 1050ti's crashing. Thanks a lot @fullzero and others
Now, I'm interested, is there a way to see all rigs on API and to be able to see that from outside network? If so, how to configure it with router? I got a MikroTik behind the 24-port switch.

So I have 3x SATA cables/branches with 3x SATA connectors on each. I attached 2x GPUs (which are on 16x USB risers with molex connectors. These risers have molex to sata extenders ) per branch so I dont overload a single branch (3rd SATA connector on each branch is not attached to anything, except one on which I plugged the SSD with nvOC on it). One branch with molex connectors is plugged into the two molex slots on MB.

Hey there, having an issue with most of my rigs with what I'm struggling for days now, wanted to give it a shot and post here to see if someone has an answer.
Got 5 rigs with this setup:
MB: ASROCK H81 PRO BTC rev 2.0 CPU: Intel Celeron PSU: Antec 750W Gold GPUs: 6x Gigabyte GTX 1050ti 4GB Risers: 6x 16x USB Molex powered risers. OS: nvOC v0017 Clocks: 150/600 Coin: ZEC
Few rigs with: MB: ASROCK H81 PRO BTC rev 2.0 CPU: Intel Celeron PSU: Antec 750W Gold GPUs: 3x Gigabyte GTX 1050ti 4GB and 3x Gigabyte GTX 1060 6GB Risers: 6x 16x USB Molex powered risers. OS: nvOC v0017 Clocks: 150/600 Coin: ZEC
Rigs crashing all the time, most crash with GPU1 stopped working, then they crash one by one. Sometimes they exit with thread errors.
What I've tried:
1. Lowering the clocks 2. Using the default clocks 3. Using Powerlimit (Both lowering and increasing from it's default value by 5-15W) 4. Powering the PCI buses with 2x Molex connectors to the both (With and without it) 5. Swapping the risers on GPU that crashed first 6. Swapping the GPU that crashed first 7. Swapping the PSU 8. Powering 2x GPUs per PSU cable 9. Using Auto/Gen1/Gen2 for PCI bandwidth speed
Currently, Im out of ideas what to do. Anyone has a suggestion?

Enter the BIOS with no GPUS and check if the main display is set to PCI , then plug in your HDMI into the GPU Card that's connected to the 16x GPU Slot. You got the same MOBO as me, so the card thats plugged with riser into the GPU Slot (the biggest one you have, rest are PCI Expresses)

Anyone tried rigs with mixed cards? So far, 3x 1060 and 3x 1050ti are working stable while I'm having issues with 5x 1050ti and 1x 1070 (Miner constantly crashing with thread exit errors)
Solution, anyone?
Note: rig with 5x1050ti and 1x1070 worked stable for a short period of time once I bumped up the power limit (by 10) and then thread exited with errors and whole rig crashed.

So i;m getting gpu stopped working with exiting thread errors on several rigs.
One rig is 6x 1050ti Other rig is 3x 1060 and 3x 1050ti
Did a test with single rig (the 6x 1050ti one) connected directly to MikroTik instead of D-Link switch, it worked stable for 30 mins while it crashed after 15mins on D-Link. Is there any chance that a D-Link switch could be causing GPUs to crash (I don't see a reason how are those two things connected but still).
Tried both with default clocks and OC, still crashed. Anyone has an idea what could be an issue?

Can I still use custom names for my rigs? Today, I'll be setting up about 20 or so rigs, so I'm needing them to be custom named, will it still work with the paste bin implementation?
EDIT: Also is this Genoil updated with that edited miner that's supposed to have increased hashrates? Also, anyway to have it show GPU temperature?
EDIT2: What's the 1050ti switch for? I do have lots of 1050ti's which I'm planning to add 1 or 2 card along with 1070s rig to use the remaining PSU power limit.

Any way to add additional parameters for EWBF? Like --api so I can enable it?

EDIT: Also, is there a way for remote controlling all rigs on nvOC? Like if I update oneBash to update it on all rigs at the same time? Quite a newbie with Linux go to web site https://pastebin.com/ and create paste edit "2unix" file on every mining rig (nano /home/m1/2unix) paste this line: (see raw link on your pastebin service) #!/bin/bash cd /tmp wget https://pastebin.com/raw/JkzeVvZS (change_this) cp JkzeVvZS(change_this) /home/m1/oneBash sudo dos2unix /home/m1/oneBash sleep 2 sudo ldconfig /usr/local/cuda/lib64 bash '/home/m1/oneBash' and reboot your rig ps: sorry, my english is bad ( So that will help me update oneBash on all rigs at once?

Is there a way to set a rig to automatically reboot if there's a GPU hang? Like the Claymore has the Watchdog option along with a -r command to run a reboot.sh script? EDIT: Also, is there a way for remote controlling all rigs on nvOC? Like if I update oneBash to update it on all rigs at the same time? Quite a newbie with Linux

Any guide on how to update from v0015 to v0016? Or it's required to reimage again?

Hey there, I've set this up and once the rig booted and the miner started, it displays an error with assigning value for GPUFanTargetSpeed? Anyone has a solution for this? ERROR: Error assigning value 70 to attribute 'GPUTargetFanSpeed' (m1-desktop:0[fan:0]) as specified in assignment '[fan:0]/GPUTargetFanSpeed=70' (Unknown Error).

So, I'm testing it out to see it's mining potential, I could use some advice for clocks, safest and best performance.
First time flashing a GeForce card so I have no clue what values it likes or what software to use. It's Micron memory btw.
