Turn it off, open it up and check that all cables are completely plugged in. Try swapping ports and cables between pairs of ASICs, see if the problem follows the move or the port. Various methods to determine if the problem is the asic, controller board, or the cable between them.
I will try that soon.

Do you have a flaky power supply?

You really should be able to find a supply that can deliver 12V -- 12.2V -- 11.8V might be an issue.

I believe the PSU is fine, the 2 boards that are working perfectly are both being supplied with 11.8 or 11.9 volts.
I will try using a different power supply to power the non-functional boards.

Is there anything I can do to get these cores to work? On board 3 none of the cores work, and on board 2 about 24 out of the 192 cores seem to stay off.

I just got the miner today and when I initially started it up the hashrate climbed up to about 660/670, but later i checked and noticed it was running at about 480GH/s.

Just saw this thread today, email sent.

Canada, eh?
5  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ Bonus PPS Pool - Still 115% ] - Private Beta on: February 27, 2012, 03:55:38 AM
It happens continuously until I restart the miners.

EDIT - I updated to the newest cgminer and it starting happening again after roughly 45-60 minutes from when I started the miner.

I got this again, after restarting my miners it went away.
I will try updating to the most recent cgminer.

That happened for a few mins earlier cause I was looking into a few things that caused few resets, it shouldnt be happening anymore ?
After restarting my miners it stopped.

I'm seeing this constantly.

Also, I'm glad the webstats are up and the hashrate works now, good job.

I had the same issue that KoKos noticed. If he hadn't posted about it here I probably would have left them running for a few days like that. I just remotely logged in to all of my rigs and noticed the invalid JSON notifications. Sadly, I don't have any logs nor do I know for sure when it occurred.

lol

I'm glad to see I can connect again, but it seems the stats aren't updating properly and I also noticed (possibly) a large number of missing shares.
12  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ Bonus PPS Pool ] - Private Beta on: February 11, 2012, 10:12:22 PM
My stats aren't updating on the website.
13  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ Bonus PPS Pool ] - Private Beta on: February 11, 2012, 07:33:02 AM
Connection issues and pool not submitting work fast enough.  Cry
Also hashrate feature doesn't work, but I'm sure you knew that already.
14  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ 115% Bonus PPS Pool ] - Private Beta on: February 07, 2012, 04:41:35 PM
Same issue here. Constantly failing over to backup pools and stale rate seems to be higher than normal.

Same issue.

Pool seems down. Can't get to the website either Sad

Looks like the DNS still resolves though.

Can you add a stat to display hashrate? Maybe averaged over 15 min or something similar?

I added a variable to do as you describe:  On the end, after "userstats" tack on "&mh=y"

That will return your hashrate in MH only.

Thank you!

Is there any way you can change my userstats API information so the worker hashrates are only displayed in MH, and never in GH?

I'm trying to get my rainmeter skin to properly read all the data, and I'm pretty bad at coding so right now I can only get it working if they are all in MH.

Username is EpicBacon

Edit: I have it working now, but if my hashrate ever drops below 1GH/s on one of my workers then it will break.
19  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Effective mining rate calculation on: December 30, 2011, 01:27:01 PM
I am assuming that when you mention "hashes", those are valid shares.

2h 52min = 172min = 10320sec
2732 shares = 2732(2^32) hashes = 11733850652672 hashes

11733850652672 hashes / 10320 sec = 1137001032.2356589147286821705426 hashes/sec

or 1.137 GH/s

Does this seem accurate for your hardware?

It's been a while since I've done the math for one of these calculations, someone please let me know if I've made a mistake.
