I solo solved a block 3ish days ago with 1.5 Kh/s (3 PCs pointing to a single wallet) using rhminer So running for 1 week straight, 2.2Kh/s from 3x servers, nothing found, and the accepted/rejected and failed shares are still 0. Something is up with this RH Miner.
You must be lucky. I soloed for few days at 5 Kh/s w 2 fast CPUs and few slow ones. Didn't find anything. That was back in mid November. Soloing is still possible. If it makes sense, I'm not sure.

Yes, I have had the pleasure to try out finminer.
On Linux.
Amazing how quickly the devs developed exact same SPEED as open source version of polyminer1's.
You know that they took his code without credit, right?
It's a virus. And it's slow. And it only supports dagger hashimo and randomhash few days later the fastest randomhash implementation was released.
Amazing coders or...
I looked to their "Company" and yeah their business model is to take opensource code, optimize it and charge for it. Explicitly preventing rightful owners of retributions or/and representation. They wont stop until someone have the time to mount a case against them. I sound like an asshole in my posts, but I am trying to defend your work here. I imagine they took out the dev fee and "added their own". You should be able to tell by looking at the global HR of randomhash. That sort of shit should be illegal. Nice looking website too with fake reviews (finminer). Cheers.

900HS on i7 3770 without K on both linux and windows with finminer 800HS with rhminercpu 1.1 (windows) Hashrate bug was fixed by polyminer1. His miner displayed ~13% higher than actual rate on the pool. With an older version I was apparently getting 1500 H/s, but after polyminer1 fixed it, the real HR was 1340. 12 core Xeon E5 v3. I am not making this shit up, alright. Take a hint yet?

tlaskows sorry, but on linux finminer is far faster. on windows only on some cpus. so I am using rhminer mostly on windows. and for 6c/12t finminer is slower. only 1000. while rhminer 1380. 1420 with version 1.1. ~3% as advertised.
polyminer1 btw, I tried to build it with latest MSVS (15.9.3). I did it. but it is slow as hell - 20% less comparing to your build. I want to play with different algo implementations. but with 20% loose it looks pointless.

I'm getting close to 1000 H/s on Linux on an Core i7 4770k. That's quad core CPU from 2011. Also, I compared rhminer on Windows and on Linux (dual boot) on exact same hardware. It's the same speed.all rigs have the same software & hardware except cards. rigs of 13 GPUs each? Let me guess, you get free electricity and have a free warehouse worth of free heat to heat up your house for the winter.

hm... aligned_malloc
did you try LARGE PAGES? on windows especially?
What is Windows? By definition: Win·dows /ˈwindōz/Submit nounTRADEMARK a computer operating system with a graphical user interface.Runs fine on Kali Linux without any messing around. Old Xeon up to 1400 H/s from 1340 H/s. I used to code for Windows. Wrote a tonne of code for many VERSIONS of Windows. You do realize it's a complete fuckery to get anything working properly on Windows?

Using v1.1 now.
The speed is improved even on a core i3. (~ 3% faster on a mobile POS dual core i3).
Cheers.

Menu: Project -> Private Keys -> Change Password You can enter a new password twice if you want to change password or just an empty input twice if you don't want password protection anymore I think they meant on the PASA market. I don't believe there is a way to reset the password. There is no "I forgot my password" box. Your instructions work if you want to change the local wallet password. I use a combination of semi-random letters, numbers, and special characters.

Is it still worth mining using a Threadripper™ 48 core? I'm talking about PIP-0009. Thanks, ~Tom

I've been thinking about approaching some local bank branches with some snappy broucher about cryptos. When you walk by many branches, especially those inside grocery stores, they're almost always nearly empty of customers. It's so pathetic I just shake my head and curse the lazy, selfish, freakish corporate zombies who believe this is what the world is ending on. Have you tried eating 🍪🍪🍪?

Hi there, Can someone please help me mine this coin.
I have downloaded latest wallet (4.0.01), and miner (rhminer), and wish to mine on nanopool How do I find "YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.YOUR_PAYMENT_ID.YOUR_WORKER_NAME"
Thanks J
This is not mining help. Please read the help/FAQ section on nano. It explains it. You can mine to poloniex or local wallet. You need to purchase a PASA in if using a local wallet. The official website at http://www.pascalcoin.org has links to resources (how to obtain your first account). There is a discord group also. YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS would be your PASA.

I could not find a block solo recently (I found 4 right after the HR). I switched to a pool. The global HR is too high, my guess. I think I had over 5k HR combined. I still get > 14 coins per day pooling and it's steady. Not up for a gamble to run 7 days straight. Cheers.

Time to dump. PASC 6k soon It's been about 3 weeks now that I'm ordering at 4.5k sat, I hope it goes back to those levels for a long accumulation. This is better than seeing this oscillation! Ordering as it might drop to 4.5k? I'm not buying. Randomhash baby. Accumulation by buying is few too many mistakes I made in the past. Now the market is generally very strange. It seems there is someone who trades, but they try to do it several times lower than the real price. For me, all this is very, very strange. If you want to buy, make in the orders normal orders. Maybe I am different. I don't. Trade/buy/sell. I am accumulating and holding for a long time since PASC has existed. True believer in the project. No a sell/buy for no reason and try to make a quick profit. That's not strange. Few people on here probably do/did the same thing. When you only have so much assets/capital (in my case close to nothing), you don't gamble.

Mine keeps crashing after 20 minutes or so i think.. I have the error message in the log I will get it soon
I am mining in a pool. Several times I got invalid response end of line character. Every few hours, not 20 minutes. I just restart it. Polyminer did mention keep it running in a loop or increase the -r times. Cheers.

Yup on the mainnet, mining solo. My batch file is : rhminer.exe -v 1 -r 20 -s http://127.0.0.1:4009 -cpu -cputhreads 20 -extrapayload NoneOfYaBuswax No errors, gets work for blocks, etc.. Average Hash rate is 820h/s , but still 0 Accepted, 0 Rejected, 0 Failed shares after an hour of mining. Trying to get a better figure of the earnings vs power use. Your configuration is correct. I soloed 4 blocks on the night of the HF in few hours. Then stopped eventually. I used the default process priority on Linux. It doesn't make a difference. Maybe different on Windows? I can load 24 logical cores out of 24 on my old xeon and still watch YouTube. I used extra payload "TimeToWakeUP", but I'm pretty sure that does not increase your chances of solving a block.

How common is it to not have any accepte shares shown when mining?
Have it running as a test on a server, and even though I get 900H/S, it constantly shows 0 accepted shares..
No errors, log file shows it's getting work and running fine. I'm using a local wallet on the same server and connecting to that.
Mining solo on mainnet? With that HR, you will wait a long time if you manage to get a reward. Look at the nethash in the wallet under block explorer. I stopped solo 2 days ago.

My apologies for the spastic comments. I failed to noticed that the user was running English localization of Windows 10. The file explorer displays 'View'. It is confusing. You click the View tab to open the windows and look outside.

I looked at your forum posts. WTF or GTFO never dealt with crypto. Stop being stupid!
With "what's left for the average joe which never dealt with mining/crypto" i had in mind the average joe, not me!!!!!!! English isn't my native language, obviously, so maybe it's a bit harder to understand, but i think even than the idea behind my sentence was clear, my mistake, again obviously not. My remark about the average joe having problems figuring out such miners is related that even me has problems get it running, someone involved in mining, no matter it's with gpu's and asics but not able to figure out that rhminer yet. Maybe you are the non plus ultra linux expert that figures out everything perfectly, with expert PC knowledge but this doesn't apply to the average joe interested in PASC or another crypto currency. And than, guys like you, wonder why there is neither mass adoption, nor your loved coin gets some volume, lol. And someone like me, politely asking for help gets called stupid, whatever ... Just a toxic and useless comment underlined by an even more usless "how to fix your PC" image. Thx, but your contribution didn't help in anyway other than having some commiseration for your poisened/toxic soul I will get back to you on that right after I can afford a computer that's faster than Rpi 3 and have money. It shouldn't take more than 24 hours. See. I'm editing some photos that I took on a 20$ computer. Tough times. I don't actually know a word of English either. Only German and few Europe area languages. Some Greek, Italian, Mandarin, few others. Romanian too, probably. And almost every dialect of English. I use Google translate. I'm lazy like that.

What happened? Can't mine PASC on nanopool anymore ...... Even going to the nanopool page i get a google chrome attack warning .....
Anybody knows what's going on?
Short answer is... PASC changed an algo on block 260000. Now it is a "random hash". It was supposed to be ASIC, GPU and Pool resistant. That is why nanopool and contron don't work. If you need a long answer read this https://www.pascalcoin.org/storage/whitepapers/RandomHash_Whitepaper.pdfCoinotron is up and running. We had some issues after block 260000 but we fixed them. We already found 1 block. Fine, i downloaded the rhminer for windows to give it a try with my 8700k CPU, but honestly, i wasn't able to figure out how to setup this ...... Any chance someone posts a step by step what how when where to do with the rhminer??? did you even try to figure it out? The website literally has a menu - How To Mine, https://www.pascalcoin.org/how_to_mine, ffs. I guess you are very familar with rhminer or similar .bat executing programs, but me is not. I downloaded the rhminer file, extracted it and see a bunch of different folders with a lot of programs there (See screenshots below) and i have literally now idea what where to use, hence asking for a step by step guide. Once i get that far i know which files from the downloaded rhminer to use i'am sure i can get easy to the next step and follow the "how to mine" setup. As said, for you, it might be an easy task, for someone like me, the first time confronted with such miner and interested in using it, it's for sure not. What's left for the average joe that never dealt with mining and crypto currencies ...... I don't use Windows and you and few others are the reason normal people end up on anti-psychotics. Under Release. Click the green download button. Unzip using 7z (the Windows 7/8/8.1/10 unzip effs up on some archives). You need the release wallet too v 4.0.1 for Windows I'm guessing. Binary unless you can spare 1 minute to compile using FPC/lazarus. Point the miner from the terminal, sorry I mean 'cmd' in run that type text to run an App box. rhminer.exe -v 2 -r 20 -s http://localhost:4009 -GPU 0 -gputhreads 400 -extrapayload TakeTheBluePillBTW. I didn't read anything you wrote. I'm writing this from very bad memory. I drank a case of PBR last night. I use Kali (on 7 old computers), so I can compile from source. As you can tell I have only been using Linux for 7 days. If you still can't figure it out follow these steps (how to use a computer tutorial): I looked at your forum posts. WTF or GTFO never dealt with crypto. Stop being stupid!
