Nobody has responded to the most relevant part:

Quote
Previous periods of full blocks didn't have as many people who NEEDED not just wanted the network to work. The more people who NEED it to work, the more vulnerable it is to a spam attack. The blocksize limit is an effective way to not just keep bitcoin small, but to keep it unimportant.

only about 40% of current TX "need" the network to work. There's plenty of fat to chop away and the spam goes down and gets more costly as fees go up, gosh darn, think about that!
When you've seen the lol about tonight, then you say interesting at that point/.
502  Economy / Speculation / Re: BUY or SELL bitcoins ? What you prefer ? on: December 23, 2015, 08:49:34 PM
well it depends on the price that bitcoin is on usually i mostly like to buy as much bitcoins as possible for example now i also buy the bitcoins because the price is pretty small right now i believe that i will start selling only if the price would reach at least 10 thousand dollars each

Lol come on be realistic , do you really think you will be able to hold on till Bitcoin reached $10000 ? If you can then you are great but I don't have that much of patience I I'll probably end up selling once it reaches $500.
The virtue of patience will determine whether one merely makes some fiat or becomes rather wealthy during this next bull run. 2014 taught many the nerves of steel and I'd hardly consider selling before 10k w/ at least half my stash staying in bitcoin permanently.
503  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will make a dozen new all-time highs in 2016 in different countries on: December 23, 2015, 08:41:57 PM
This could be bullish. Every time there is a new ATH in a currency, people who hold that currency will be panic buying BTC.

Then again, many people in those countries could already be holding "hard currency" like USD. We need to do more research.

Even if just 1% of the people in these countries where bitcoin is making ATHs are actually buying bitcoins as a hedge or investment, then that's tens-hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of folks buying per country that is affected. Sooner or later, the whole freaking planet will be panic buying these mysterious miracles and very few can comprehend such a dynamic and the potential outcome. Words can't describe such an outcome other than "Holy ....".

I'll keep an eye on this one and if more are interested I might jump in.
505  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 21, 2015, 03:06:44 AM
So what's the probability of Bitcoin becoming the World Reserve Currency if the on chain transaction capacity is 500,000/day?

506  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you short if price goes to the moon? on: December 20, 2015, 02:03:49 AM
I think I'll wait to short when the start of the next rally happens in the spring prior to the halving. Then, I'll just sit back and watch the price go haywire and worldwide panic buying ensues. I'll feel really great about myself having lost the chance of a lifetime. Don't be me. Tongue
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't let bitcoin overtake your soul on: December 19, 2015, 07:05:18 PM
My advice for noobs, to avoid situations unfolding like this, is to just keep accumulating what you can in bitcoin and store it wisely. Don't start investigating every potential way to score easy bitcoin because this is what leads to unhealthy greed and consequentially, to bad decisions. Don't trade, mine, gamble, just keep it honest and if you have a long range, positive outlook for bitcoin then everything will fall into play in due time. However, since the price of coins is on the rise, every .1 that you can grab for yourself and save will be a plus for you down the road. That's why trading the unknown is troublesome, unless you already have a stash and you're just playing w/ loot from your checking account.

In essence, getting into bitcoin leads one to read as much as possible about the whole ecosystem and the wanting to grab more coinage in any way possible w/o understanding and/or respecting the risks. At some point, those that haven't saved up and are chomping at the bit to get more coinage are desperate to try less trusted means of acquiring and the result could end in the same way as the OP. The sad thing is none of this will change as each subsequent subset of people will learn about and get into bitcoin at different price ranges and then will have undergone different seasons in the bitcoin world which will have tested their nerves in different ways but if one can keep on buying more coins and saving them w/o the urge to gamble, they'll be fine as the coin matures into what they assumed it was going to be once they decided to buy in in the first place. Most of us have made mistakes because of the learning curve and if I could do it over again (which I don't wish to), I would've just saved every last coin I ever bought.
508  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-12-04] A New Service Called CoinCube Can Help Manage Your BTC on: December 19, 2015, 06:34:29 PM
After two weeks here, has anyone any positive evaluation to share on this outfit? Plenty of volatility lately.
509  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 18, 2015, 04:23:00 AM
It's obvious at this point that the lambcrotch/beerfart community brigade is afraid and has been decimated by peonminer much like ISIS has been deballed by Putin. Bullish! Obama to the rescue and the fail, of course. The USD is going up when the other currencies are going down largely. BTC is stoic atm and rising so lulz. Rand Paul ftw via last night's debate and you all know it!
510  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 18, 2015, 04:05:16 AM

Lambie seems more retarded than usual. Are they working shifts?

Yrpapers? Dunno, I've started putting any new posters here on ignore - I feel guilty about the false positives, but not that guilty. There's been a couple of times I've been drawn into a conversation and half way through had my ovine suspicions confirmed and ended up sticking the wee lamb's latest alt on ignore.

People have been more diligent about "Report to moderator" and those accounts haven't been lasting long anyway.

Though there's at least one with a fairly decent activity count where I think Lambie is playing the long con.
I've got a 100% reporting/snitching rating on that bitch but I will hone more in on this lone wolf account. Degens must be severed at the neck during this next bull run and/or just for lulz.
511  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 12, 2015, 04:01:57 AM
Can't go to bed. Too exciting!

Wow, $500 ain't so unrealistic after all. Hope FOMO starts tomorrow Eur/USA Smiley

The average person haven't even taken notice of the rise in the coin price at this point, when they do you'll know. Thus, fomo and panic buying haven't even started yet. There's a bot on a crash course with destiny and no one will know when it says fuck it during this pre-halving round of the pump. Hold your balls and don't get squeezed.
512  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 12, 2015, 03:57:09 AM
Up 9.7% in 24 hours! This is not sustainable. Buyers are slowing down. If you want profit, better take it now. Correction is imminent.

Every $10 you call for a correction.  I guess eventually you'll be right...
There will be a correction at a certain level but the religious callers of it every ten bucks can be spotted miles away as a known troll building one of their new sock puppets under the supposed radar. Keen eyes have seen the light long ago but engage all you wish. Undecided Ignore function is your friend.
513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Things I miss about bitcoin trading from 2013 on: December 11, 2015, 07:41:27 PM
Most of those things are epic and will not ever come back. Take the altcoins f.e. their time has come. The volume however will grow and grow. I dont' expect we will go under it's level in the next few years.

So yes, most things happen for the best
Ya, the alt coin phase is probably over since so many got burned and learned their greed lessons the hard way. However, litecoin will probably go on another significant run-up in terms of its bitcoin price as the panic buying starts entering the bull market down the line as it matures beyond our community's borders. People will be seeing that crypto is going up and bitcoin's price will be out of reach for most and that's when litecoin will get its boost. Just like last time but on a larger scale.

every time this guy is back speaking the outlook is optimistic.

 Grin Grin

Oh god. Please don't even follow that link and give this guy views. It's that Rawdogletard guy. Nothing of value there.

he is genius!  Grin

in is own dumber-than-dirt way this guy is funny ... and a video from him is also agreat indicator that bitcoin is bubbling up into the dumber-than-dirt mainstream radar again .... Bullish!
I lol'd. Hard Cheesy
I work at the er at the biggest hospital in my state and I can attest to the sheer volume of dumber than dirt that works here as well as the incoming patients and visitors. I'm sure each of them (workers) is good at their particular task in life, to some extent, but when it comes to having any sort of financial vision they're just out to lunch or not even at the table. Very few have any understanding of what's going on in the US markets let alone any cursory knowledge of the future of money which is bitcoin. Regarding the patients, they have so many personal issues that they haven't the time nor expendable capital to even consider educating themselves on or speculating/investing in bitcoin. However, when panic sets in and everyone can't believe the upward trend, they will come.
516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 07, 2015, 06:31:07 AM
Yep, you're a confirmed paranoid psychopath. Smiley I actually wish those accounts were mine now. Not for trolling, but for your sake. So you could be right about at least one thing. Cry Sadly, you're just a pathetic anti BTCitcoin keyboard warrior. Smiley

You seem to have an odd obsession with facials and underage individuals. Lambie, were you abused as a child? Is that why everyone professes that when you were doxxed it was brought to light you are an avid carpet muncher?
Interesting, 4 buttlickers on the way in and another 3 or more on the way out. Crotch-face loves those butts in any event. Epic crotch valuations coming up.
517  Economy / Speculation / Re: 232 days before bitcoin block reward halving on: December 07, 2015, 06:25:48 AM
I am only seeing it going to 1000$+ before halving or even new all time high price. I expect it not to go very much above 1000 as most of the people will like to sell it they see that price.
The pre-halving run is what you're talkin about, the fall part of it will blow your mind. Sell now and cry forever or buy now and live forever in plentiful-ness.
518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be sure, this will drop hard soon... and here is why... on: December 07, 2015, 06:20:22 AM
I just hope it will crash hard, i could use some more BTC and will rebuy all the way down. Hope it can touch 200tish again before halving bull run.
Sorry bro, those days (2huns) are gone for good. The last year offered those low prices and now we're going up to never return to those levels, so you better buy what you can now. I wish you well. Smart money is loaded.
519  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 04, 2015, 05:57:55 AM
No, but they learned how to levitate. Especially BTC price.

North Korea looks nice and a decent place to live. But for real, just sell at this point and recop $20 lower and get the bump. Or, don't bother yourself w/ the DPRK stuff and just sell and rewind at a later date
520  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: November 30, 2015, 06:49:47 AM
I have the same thing. From the last payment date < 23/11/2015 to 30/11/2015 > I posted 25+ posts and I got paid $1.06 US.  Huh All posts was within the rules stipulated by this campaign. Where did things go wrong? None of the rules has changed, so it must be something wrong with the bot.

Can you please look into this?
They're playing a joke on you at this point. Or, they're ripping you off. Either way, let me lol.
