Kwuckduck is just holding ad making weak hands sell so that de be destroyed. Not good.
Shmuckyduck sold out at $10 coins and has been on a suicide mission of FUD ever since he got locked in the dustbin of crypto history.
142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 12, 2017, 05:17:35 PM
The next thing to move the price will be when China starts allowing Bitcoin withdrawals.

Not that the price needs much help in moving.

The next thing to move the price will be when the FED raises the rate next Wednesday, and the Yuan crashes because of it. Nothing starts the Chinese buying Bitcoins like the Yuan crashing.
Also, the USG runs out of borrowing power on Wed (never happened before in recent times) w/ the debt is capped at $20 trillion and the only spending that can happen is that which is coming in. Good luck to Trump to rush through some spending limit increase when conservatives in Congress won't go for it. Thus, not seeing any tax cuts coming nor infrastructure spending could signal a market reversal and lead even more USD searching for a safe haven.
143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 07, 2017, 04:30:40 AM
Nobody is talking about March 15th when the US debt and spending is capped at $20 trillion. This is uncharted territory, folks. Forget the ETF news for a second, briefly. This is gonna make fiat unstable alongside the upcoming Fed rate hike. If the ETF does get approved eventually, then OMG.
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 04, 2017, 06:31:19 PM
No, the media is almost everytime negative about bitcoin. The only 'insiders' you are talking about just cashed out. Some big fishes dumped their coins for fiat money. Thats my indicator for what the outcome of the COIN ETF will be.

If you think those sells a couple of hours ago were 'dumps' by 'big fishes' then you're clearly new around here.
Truer words were never spoken. That 'dump' wouldn't even qualify as a big fish farting.

Another bustling beehive of Bullish News activity here in the BMC today. Thanks for all the efforts, Fak! Love this thread. Long live the BMC! This is historical in the making.

Someone dumped to protect the shorts from blowing up in merciless and spectacular fashion - mini-controlled demolition. Keep going with regular scheduled programming?

Trump is gonna be finished if he doesn't root out the moles in his Oval Office and the deep state which is conspiring against him. This former CIA analyst is leading the call on what Trump should do in the coming weeks in order to survive and succeed in MAGA.

What happened with r0ach? Wasn't he very bullish on bitcoin last year?

He got kicked out of his synagogue for inappropriate behaviour. He hasn't taken it well.
I laughed out loud on that one!
He obviously sold all of his coins and went all in on silver expecting it to moon after Trump started his trade/currency wars with China. I have my fair share of silver but my sentiment for Bitcoin is way higher. Silver is merely for bartering if the shtf.
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction by Vinny Lingham, steady 2-3X gains every year on: February 15, 2017, 07:12:12 PM
on jan.14th mr lingham boldly predicted that price will never again go below $800. he was right so far which i think was an incredible call. (i think price was around 810 when he twittered this). 2-3 k this year? yeah!  Cool
Kindly post that tweet or something thereof here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1161207.1660 It's been getting delusional lately.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin segwit activation. What happened? on: February 15, 2017, 05:40:55 PM
These miners have every incentive to want segwit in LTC: price is mooned for optimal bitcoin purchases or plenty of fiat to purchase a miner's hardware paradise. Maybe not daily, but week by week going forward we'll see the signalling % keep growing.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Segwit miner support has reached 18% after a day on: February 15, 2017, 05:27:54 PM
If segwit support keeps increasing, so will the daily money flowing into LTC. As its success starts to manifest itself then there'll be huge money coming in and LTC will soar. Then, once the LTC/BTC price is sky high people will want to sell back for bigger satchels of bitcoins and that is when the next BTC price boost likely will come from. Whether the BTC devs take up segwit after a successful launch remains to be seen. LTC is a fantastic buy at this monumental stage and will score you many more bitcoin on the other side.
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Charts: How an ETF Approval Could Impact Bitcoin's Price on: February 15, 2017, 05:10:59 PM
because there are lots of institutional investors who are - by law - only allowed to invest in exchange traded assets. On top of this especially those investors happen to be very big investors with billions to invest. They cannot buy physical gold but they can buy gold etf. same with bitcoin: they cannot buy bitcoins directly - it is against the law.

Not to mention, any inflows of fiat directly into Bitcoin ETFs will go only to buying and selling of bitcoin (e.g. that investment/trade money would not be allowed to flow into BTC/altcoin pair trades).  So in theory, Bitcoin marketcap would pull away from other altcoins.
Initially, probably. Yet the average newcomer will see they can purchase the likes of LTC and ETH for way cheaper and they then get to buy more substantial amounts. Big money will flow into BTC but the average, interested person that lives just beyond paycheck to paycheck will fuel certain alts. Will they be able to keep up w/ the big buyers and keep a stable parity or more is the question.
155  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2017, 05:04:06 PM

Weird. I wonder who they are and what inspired them to pile in at such a rate, if it's in any way a real stat. That's the type of figure you'd expect at the tail end of a bubble.
Anecdotally, a few weeks ago I had reminded a coworker of mine about the BTC price (told him about it for well over a year) as well as the historically low LTC/BTC price w/ a potential segwit on the way and told him how to link up w/ Coinbase. By the next day, he'd bought .6 BTC and w/i the next week, he bought some ETH since it's the only other thing you can buy there - and it's just way cheaper. He's of Syrian descent here in the US.
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 12, 2017, 06:23:13 AM
I've found poolminor to be quite credible over time yet I still like ya Jimbo. He's not going beartard, just calling the final run of the bulls in the near term with a resumption of the bull trend in some months. Gotta have some red dragons in the future to complete and relaunch the next epic bull run.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: February 11, 2017, 06:24:18 PM
LTC will be dead, the price was 0.007 in 8 month ago, but now only half of that price, in the end of this year, the price will halve again, we will see 0.001X btc worth LTC. Let us see.
The flip side being as poolminor says could do the exact opposite to the ltc price in a large way. For instance, this ~.003 ltc/btc could be the new low leading up to the new protocol upgrades which then takes off to upwards of .05-.075 ltc/btc or more. Again, do the math.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Litecoin have a future? on: February 09, 2017, 07:16:49 PM
While it seems dormant (LTC that is), it's going to explode when the BTC halving goes full Bull. If you haven't loaded up by now, then the mega rally the LTC is (will be) during a BTC bull rally will make you jealous and even this ETH rally won't supplant it/or mess with it. Litecoin is such a buy now it isn't even funny. That's right I said it! the sideshows here won't lead you to the promised land as it is at this point.

1 year later.
+ good call on the BTC bull rally.

 - but LTC has yet followed suit, but it has maintained capital, and increased trade volume and transactional usage.

-likely LTC will be a common inlet for capital once the BTC bull rally peaks and rolls over.
We've had a decent bull season so far (in terms of btc) but I think we're far from over w/ these corrections in between rises. I'm even more bullish on ltc now that this segwit appears to be making a go of things - we'll know more next month. Furthermore, the btc price could see a surge in the even that an ETF is approved. Either way, world financials are looking dismal and btc is looking like the alternative to gold and an even better safe haven. Lastly, I think the btc price being so high for the average person looking at crypto will sticker shock them into the likes of ltc or even eth.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 09, 2017, 05:42:58 PM
Yeah, blame it on a news story that is not on the PBOC's website. Instead of the TA that has been placed before you repeatedly.

It's not over yet..

and I told you so.
Whatever the real story coming out of China is, it sure was timed to trigger this controlled demolition at the right time. Looking forward to making use of my last chunk of fiat on exchange.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: February 06, 2017, 11:51:30 PM
For long term perspective, LTC has been dumped from 0.05+ btc ATH to 0.003X btc, current price is only 7% of ATH price, definitely LTC dies slowly and no future, I have dumped all of my ltc above 0.02 btc. No more dream on ltc, it is worthless and the toy of Chinese miners.
Litecoin was pumped to .05 during a major bull run, likely in a past halving event and now it's back to being dirt cheap w/ segwit about to make it great again. I'm not saying back up the truck and go all in, but the upside at this point in terms of making more bitcoin in a future pump or spec drive based on segwit is a very possible scenario for litecoin holders. I'm usually bitcoin centric but I'm converting a small stake at these levels. Segwit has the potential to turn this .003 price back into .05 or higher, you do the math.
