1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed is bringing loss for traders on: April 13, 2019, 06:55:47 PM
Greediness is not appropriate especially when you are trading. Being greedy could leave you into destruction. I actually getting myself uninvolve in some hype that is actually happening in crypto. For example, there would be a fork on a coin, I will not buy that coin even though I got double.
1103  Other / Meta / Re: Dark theme for Bitcointalk(CSS only) on: April 12, 2019, 09:14:59 PM
I have no offense on your dark theme cyrus but I'm using a Chrome extension that is called dark night mode. And it works in bitcointalk. But the problem of that is this area.

With your dark theme, those tabs are readable so this could be a perfect idea for those people that are active during nighttime.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Promoting Gambling on: April 12, 2019, 07:30:41 PM
1. It gives you easy money or easy cash whenever you hit jackpot. You can earn month earned worth money within minutes if youre that lucky.
Pure luck is needed indeed. What if you gambled all of your money and let's say all of it were lost. Then you decided to gamble again the next week and hit the jackpot. Try to add all your loss and maybe it is the same as the jackpot price you got.
1105  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anybody have a Bitcoin tattoo? on: April 12, 2019, 06:13:09 PM
The bitcoin tattoo is so cool on that picture. It's like bitcoin reached the moon. And seemingly, I think that this is the first time I saw a person having a bitcoin as a tattoo. I hope if people saw this kind of tattoo they will ask the owner of that tattoo and say what is that. And then, mass adoption is here. Grin
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You Can't Be Jobless And Be Participating In Bounties on: April 12, 2019, 05:40:32 PM
True, bounties are just for a "sideline job" and it shouldn't be a "job" for you. You still should have a stable jobs in order for you to support yourself or your family if you have one. We don't know in bounties especially right now, most bounties are scams and not to be trusted what if they don't pay you?
1107  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: April 12, 2019, 05:35:31 PM
tanong lang po ako ilang taong gulang po yung pwede mag register sa coins.ph?
Walang age limit sa coins. Actually ako nagregister ako sa coins nung 16 or 17 years old ata ako. If you are afraid na wala kang ID to show kase bawal ang school ID sa coins ang alam ko. Pwede ka pa ring magpasa pero papafill up an ka nila sa browser, may ibibigay silang link. And kasama dun IDs ng parents mo.
1108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anti-scam addresses Database on: April 12, 2019, 05:07:48 PM
All I know is that in etherscan.io you can check comments on that scanner and if there is a comment that the address is a scam. I don't know if there is an anti scam addresses there is in crypto.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country knows about cock fighting betting? on: April 12, 2019, 04:34:32 PM
Never seen cock fighting but if you find a casino that offers betting make sure you post the links.
I think its too violent to watch birds shred each other apart with razor blades.
Same for the dog fights which I have no interest in.

Cock fighting is a betting game in the Philippines. It is mostly done within rural areas. It is like people's hobby to raise a chicken and then they will get those chicken on a cock fight. If a rooster lose, then it'll be a for a chicken dinner for the owner. Yes, it is violent but, it's different by dog fights since cocks are livestock.
1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any real use for bank-backed cryptocurrency ? on: April 12, 2019, 04:19:29 PM
Ripple(XRP) is a virtual currency that is backed by banks. In fact, the creator of XRP are banks. There is a thread last year that says that "should ripple be trusted?" That question was raised since XRP was made by the banks and banks are only care for themselves and not people. That's why many people on that thread starts selling ripple. For me, there's no case of ripple to be determined as a non-trusted coin. Since, the growth of it is amazing.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: April 12, 2019, 03:39:59 PM
I gamble 1 hour per day. But sometimes none. Since I'm short of budget all of my payment from signature campaign are being divided by 2. For gambling and for myself. I do really like gambling but because of gambling, I lose a lot of money lol. Got addicted. But now I am able to control it.
1112  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Guide] Paaano bumuo ng customized Bitcoin-Address (vanitygen) – step by step on: April 11, 2019, 01:03:26 PM
Thank you Op for the information you gave to us. It's a great help to create vanity address kasi kalimitan ang mga vanity address is purposive yan eh. For example, charity address ganun.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Stablecoins A Necessary Evil? on: April 11, 2019, 12:50:44 PM
I honestly feel that stablecoins like Tether etc are indeed a necessary evil. They do pose problems for the cryptocurrency market(Tether controversy etc), but they will still be in demand as long as the market is extremely volatile.

Once the volatility lowers in the long term, the demand for these coins will most likely fall which is why they are a necessary evil at present.
Necessary evil because of controversy but necessary for us to be safe on our trades. It is a safe-haven for our trades. Since they are stable, if we are on loss we can simply put our btc on tether in order for us to be safe on the continuous downfall.
1114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What causes the sudden surge of market? on: April 11, 2019, 12:14:04 PM
Any solid facts to justify the sudden pump of market these days? Looks very unnatural with no signs of catalyst whatsoever. News said 20,000 bitcoins are ordered but around 100m to trigger a 40billion bullrun? That's really fishy considering they can profit way more than their buys, what are your insights on this? Organized whales or institutions strategy?
This is the cause of the pump. And that event made 3 orders from 3 different exchange 7,000 bitcoin buy order each. It's just a manipulation by whales. I don't even know if the manipulator were a whale or whales. I think it's just one but he used different exchanges.
1115  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Sekretong Malupit sa Pag Convert to PHP sa Coins.ph! on: April 11, 2019, 10:53:33 AM
Walang fees po sa pag transfer ng funds from coins.ph to coins.pro and vice versa, almost instant din yung paglipat ng funds. As of now wala naman problema maglipat lipat ng pondo sa kanilang dalawa
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 11, 2019, 10:43:28 AM
Playoff tree has been officially released.

This is more exciting for me compare to the last year's playoffs. We can see new teams compete with some top tier teams. One thing more is no Lebron right now.

For me, its harder right now to predict who will go to the next round because all of them have unique skills. Maybe the Warriors will win in 5-6 games. Nuggets will dominate the Spurs in my opinion. On the other side, I think the Raptors will win against the Magic in 5-6 games and the Bucks will be having a hard time against the Pistons. Just my opinion Smiley
The time has finally come, we have been waiting for the playoffs, let's see what will it be without Lebron James.
Hopefully this would be a better playoff compared to the last one, I am also hoping that we will see a good NBA finals this time, going to 7 games is good.
I agree. This time, there's no LeBron in the playoffs. But, don't you think that this will make LeBron more aggressive next season? Although I'm considering how old he is next season but I think that he'll just be the aggressive Bron next year but sloppy on the defensive end.
1117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 4 Things Traders Must Do To Be Successful on: April 11, 2019, 10:34:02 AM
1 thing trader should know most and not included on your list. And it is Do Your Own Research(DYOR). It is the most effective one I'm telling you. Let's say you know how to do Technical Analysis, it doesn't apply that you can win all trades. What if you TA a coin and you can see some sign that it will breakout, then there is a news saying that it does fraudulent activities. Then that's your lost.
1118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 6 methods to choose a good project for investment on: April 11, 2019, 09:57:18 AM
Stop relying on icobench. They are advertising the scam ICO too.
Roadmap is not a gurantee that development will actually happen.
All of these "ICO rating" are all scams. They are not really rating the ICO by what capability it could bring. And funny to think about how it is that it is rating a soon to be scam project as 4.0?

About the roadmap, you can never guarantee that they will follow that. It's up to the team if they will let investors and supporters by their actions.
1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why cryptos are facing such downfall? on: April 11, 2019, 09:26:30 AM
It is because crypto is following the news of its own. For example, China created a FUD on bitcoin like banning all mining. Then that could create a big impact for bitcoin. It will make the price go down. And have you heard of Centra(CTR tokens)? I forgot the issue regarding that but I think it's fraudulent activity that lead that company to go down with their coin.
1120  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN Dump! - When to GET OUT! on: April 11, 2019, 08:36:04 AM
I think there would be no dump but we couldn't be so sure about it the market is so unpredictable,
We couldn't expect anything from it,It could be pumping now and then just drop off after a few hours or days .
We don't know what could happen so let's just stay positive and enjoy it.
Actually, this post was posted before the pump of bitcoin. Look at the chart and you can see bitcoin sitting at $4100. So, I think that this speculation is invalid.

Bitcoin's getting near it's new higher resistance levels at $5,455 and $5,652. Will the bullish trend continue?

I'm hoping for the bullish trend actually. I hope that we can reach this kind of price so that we can grab profits.
