1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: April 06, 2019, 09:10:54 PM
I think is more of strategy for the PROs.
For professional for example, poker games, they need more strategy than luck. They need how to fool their enemies by raising a high amount and then that could make them a winner.

Other than that, we need to have luck in order for us to win games. A combination of both can take you anywhere.
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 06, 2019, 08:57:51 PM
If I'm not mistaken the MVP is being voted by NBA media, so it's varies what criteria they are looking for. (Kindly correct me If I'm wrong).
You're not wrong actually. NBA media are the voters for the MVP. This is a good read for all of us. It was stated on that site that MVP voting depends on the NBA media. But since there were a lot of bias votes last years they decided to exclude NBA media that are connected to the team.

@NBA tells team broadcasters they will no longer vote for league awards. Conflict of interest now greater than ever. It's the right call.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: looking for people to test a gambling site on: April 06, 2019, 08:51:11 PM
So the game needs 3 players to start? I think that is my problem now because when I tried to play with Fast Game, I choose XRP to bet and make 0.28 XRP which equal $0.11 and then click the Bet button and I see that the game started and I win in my first time Grin
Yeah, this is the case of this site. The website does not have any players on their platform yet the site wants 3 players for the betting to begin. I think they should change this one in order for us to beta test on it.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will destroy Ethereum! on: April 06, 2019, 08:41:36 PM
Most articles are found to be biased or if not, they are paid. So, I don't believe in this kind of prediction. But there could be cases that ADA might get in touch in the 2nd top if the price of it goes pump dramatically. If that happens then Cardano can do that since their supply is many than ETH.
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the God of crypto........ on: April 06, 2019, 08:08:55 PM
Bitcoin is the god of all the crypto.
At the end whatever is coin you have finally it will convert into the bitcoin.
Without it nothing is possible.
what you think about it ?
I agree that it is the king of crypto. Every cryptocurrency is based on bitcoin. And whenever bitcoin goes up, all alts will fall down. That's why we have what we called Bitcoin dominance in which bitcoin will dominate the market cap. And if you stay on your alt, and it continues to go down then that will be a problem on your part.
1166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TOP suggestions for someone who's thinking of buying BTC? on: April 06, 2019, 05:59:56 PM
The unending DYOR advice, yes that's #1
True, this is the advice all must put into mind.

1 Before investing, spend time learning about cryptocurrencies and blockchain in general

DYOR advice is a must for a person whether it is a beginner or a trader for a long time, we MUST DO OUR OWN RESEARCHES before investing

2 Don’t look at it as get rich quick scheme, but as a long investment

Bitcoin will never be a quick rich scheme. Even nothing in cryptocurrency is an instant. Probably if you're lucky. For example before the big pump/before ath during 2018. You bought at December 2017, and that's your quick scheme.

3 Learn ways to keep your bitcoin safe and secure.
That's why we need to research about bitcoin wallet to avoid losing our bitcoins and our wallet.

Subscribe, like it and share it with your friends.
I don't want to subscribe I don't want to like the video, I don't want to share it. It's because I cannot understand you. This section of the forum is for the English language. Your language was I think is Spanish? Maybe, create a video that is in English and share that to us. I mean, I can see what you're trying to do in the video but it leads to wrongdoing if the viewer and the lecturer does not have a good communication with each other.
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: looking for people to test a gambling site on: April 04, 2019, 07:00:56 PM
Your site is a bit slow to load, I'm not really sure why but I believe it is not related to my connection speed as I can access all other sites fast. Register and login button seems not working on my end, it shows nothing when I click both buttons. Please make sure that your site is working well before asking people to do a test.
I think you just have a slow connection. I load his site so fast it took about just 6 seconds to load fully.

To OP, you should be providing us more information regarding your site.

I am fixing few things such as SSL certificate
I think you should fix all the necessary things for us to try your beta site so that there would be no problem.(FIXED) However, I'm happy to try your site.

EDIT: Can you make another page for withdrawal and deposits? It's too small, maybe this could make the player put wrong info.
1169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which bitcoin exchange do you use on: April 04, 2019, 05:47:22 PM
~snip~
Osarman, please correct your quote.

Binance is my favorite exchange. Lots of volume, easy to use, it also has a mobile application. Since, I'm a mobile user, I wanted to use mobile applications for me to trade. I'm telling you, binance app is really user-friendly when it comes to trading in mobile phones.  Wink
1170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think this BEAR MARKET will LAST? on: April 04, 2019, 05:34:47 PM
I think BTC price will hit $5200 by this month, its enough to bouncing after so long time go down and make us panic. I do believe it will end, but it has requirement to change the trend.
It hit already, but then back to the lower price, but still stay at $5,000 level.
Since that was hit and have some little price correction, expect that we can even reach $6,000, BTC has been mooning, when it's in that level, nothing can stop it.
I guess that if BTC will just stay at 5,000 level we can have a stable market. And when there could be some news that are good that can contribute to the growth of btc then it would be a blast for btc to stay at 5,000 and we can see it mooning after that. The target would possibly be 6k or so. But, we don't know yet.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: April 04, 2019, 05:18:31 PM
Today's Pick

Dallas Mavericks vs Minnesota Timberwolves

2 in a row for the Mavericks, and that was without their darling Luca, so I guess I have to ride with their momentum.
The Timberwolves on the other hand are losing, so playing another game on the road is gonna be tough for them, these 2 are already out of the playoffs so this could be a high scoring game also.

My pick DALLAS -2.5

Seems to me that you are getting a lot of winning bets in this thread. I want to ride in this Smiley. By the way, Is Luca out for this game?
1172  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcasino.io Scam on: April 04, 2019, 05:05:58 PM
Seems to me that this is about bitcasino shady activities. There were lots of accusations going on with that site. I don't really recommend playing on that site. I think you should raise an accussation thread in here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0. Don't be hasten with your action, first try to contact the support and in days that it does not have any reply, raise an accusation thread.
1173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think this BEAR MARKET will LAST? on: April 03, 2019, 08:03:49 PM
We actually don't know when the bear market will last. Yes there was a bitcoin pump. This thing somehow gives us an idea of a bull but, if it does why does it break the $5000 barrier and dropped down? I can't understand the market really  Grin.

1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories! on: April 03, 2019, 07:19:34 PM
The addictive potential is the hope that makes us think that we can make big wins. Added on top are the tempting advertisements of jackpots and big wins. We all have an inner child who is devoid of logic and reasoning and it gets stimulated by these things making us play that game more. If anybody who is a gambler would have used their logic properly they would have stopped gambling. Smiley
I really like your logic when it comes to gambling. I like that inner child thing and the addictive potential hope that we have. Many gamblers will be affected in this statement if they read your post. Including me lol.
1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: April 03, 2019, 07:09:33 PM
There are a lot of chances that people can gamble, like when you try a drinking game, where you watch a movie, and you are going to drink when that character do a specific thing or something like that. I have done that, and it's entertaining but it's not that common to do anymore

I have a lot of multiplayer games in my PS4, like Tekken, UFC, Injustice, etc. My friends and I don't go to competitions, but we make our own, we start betting stuff or sometimes just money with whoever who wins the bracket.

Has anyone made a simple competition with friends and won a lot of money? Or something out of the ordinary, instead of playing in the casino but still having the chance to earn money. Share your thoughts.
I mean this is not a gambling game for me as an example but, whenever the new year comes my parents and some of my aunts are throwing money for us children on the ground. At that time, I got around 50 dollars. Ez win for me though.

1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 03, 2019, 06:53:44 PM
This season, there's chance that James Harden will be once again proclaim as MVP, he had less off nights than Giannis and he scores a lot.

Giannis has played in 70 games this season, Harden has 74.

I would like to ask all James Harden's MVP cheerleaders out there, where was he the first two and half months of the season? The time when Rockets where a bottom 4 team in the west. That's quite a lot of "off nights".

No matter how you look at it, James Harden deserves to be called for an mvp award this season. So asking you, where would the rockets be right now if Harden did not play like he used to play right now. I can say he is phenomenal this season eventhough he is a ball hugger.
James Harden as the MVP for this season? Really? A person with 40.6 usage rate? He'll not win the MVP this season I think it'll be Giannis or PG to win the MVP award. I like James Harden, he's carrying the rockets. He's really doing some heavy liftings, including his team. And the next point leaders in the team is Clint with 15.5PPG IIRC.
1179  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for responsive escrow for a small dev project on: April 03, 2019, 06:41:13 PM
Thanks for the responses guys. As per shasan's suggestion the buyer and I went with Hhampuz from his list of escrows. He is responsive, has great feedback and has been an escrow for a while.
Great choice, he's also a great campaign manager. He's so responsive. If he's online, I'll message him my concern and within few minutes, he has the reply.
1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Locking Bounty Rewards To Avoid Dumping on: April 03, 2019, 06:31:10 PM
So there's this campaign that I've participated that locked bounty rewards in the hopes of avoiding token dumping. As what I expected, the dumping still happened. What's even funnier is that it is now the bounty hunters who complains unlike before where investors blame bounty hunters  Grin

If there's any coins or tokens that should be locked, it should only be the team's share (or maybe add those given to advisors). Both parties (investors & hunters) have invested either money or time to get their share and they should not be subjected to such restriction.

Instead of locking, teams should just concentrate on other methods such as buy back and loyalty rewards to lessen the chances of price crash.
This is the possible event that will happen.

1- The coin will be dumped by the team themselves. Cheap move by the team, there were many teams doing this. They are just taking advantage on those who invested and trusted their porject.

2- The coin will be dumped by the bounty hunters. All bounty hunters care is the payment of their work. I think this is just the part of the system when there is an ICO that has a bounty. But, this kind of thing will hurt the token of the project. This is why whenever there is a payment from bounties in which I joined, I try my best not to sell. Since I put my trust on that project. And when it could get high and when I think some investors got their ROI, I'll sell.

I guess that this kind of possibilities makes the ICO less trustworthy. The ROI of each project is too low for those investors. That's why many does not want to buy in ICOs right now.
