I still see some ico who commit fraud and abandon investors, just look at Sprintx, get $ 15M during pre-ico, they then stop selling and shut down their sites and various social media platforms
There are so many ICO scam like that. They get a huge amount of money from the ICO, and they completely disappear in a day. No one can trace them out because all the information is fake. So the ICO is now hard to get trust from investors Some of them are really raw ideas. That's why they are failing. They need more strict rules and project development not to fail. Only a few of them do this and we see many bad results from some ICO projects. |

I think in this year ETH price will not reach bitcoin value, bitcoin will remain the most expensive. because the total supply of bitcoin is less than ethereum.
Today, market cap of ETH is $45,5 Millions and i think it can quite reach $200 Millions in this year. i think Market cap of ETH can quite surpass market cap of BTC but it is hard to the price of ETH surpass BTC because BTC is only 21 millions but demand for ownership BTC is more and more increasing so the price of Bitcoin also increase. While ETH now 98 millions and it can increase in the future so i think the price of ETH will hard to reach BTC value. For this 200$ billion market cap, ETH should rise up to 2,000$ per unit and this is not that possible for now. We need to wait some more to see this value. Then it can surpass bitcoin's market cap. |

Just hold, don't scare  when bitcoin price are falling we should hold our bitcoin and also we should not scared on holding because when bitcoin price dump there is a possibility that will increase soon so that if bitcoin price falling we should hold until bitcoin price gets high or increase the possible attitude that we have on this kind of situation is we should have patience. There is nothing to do specifically during a market fall. Only thing that should be done is waiting patiently if you have loss. The market will turn back with a stronger mode, recovering your loss. |

What do you do after you suffer a huge loss?
If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?
Experiencing huge loss in trading, investing or gambling is a phenomenon that really hard to handle and recover. The feeling of regret on your losses might eat you up and might ruined your confidence. When I suffer a huge loss, the first thing I did is I entertain myself to forget my losses. I also rest for a while until I accept everything that happen. I also evaluate my move and my strategies I used why I fall into losses. After evaluating my action, I right down the next strategy I might use so it will not happen again. I do not even think to stop because I believe that the next trading, investing or gambling is a different story. I also orient myself on the saying that Quitters never win so I must not quit to be able to win. Now we have a market crash and most of us made loss during this price dump. I don't know what to do. I'm so upset but I try to stay high against my loss to recover it in next days. |

If you can guess, eth or bitcoin cash which will first hit btc?
Bitcoin Cash is more expensive than Ethereum but in my opinion, both of them are popular even so I do believe both of them will hit Bitcoin soon but for me Bitcoin Cash will hit Bitcoin first than Ethereum because of its value price now. This year ethereum will overtake bitcoincash in terms of unit price as well. Watch and see. Bcash type garbages have nothing to do on this crypto sector. They will be eliminated eventually. |

Today Bitcoin is more popular compared because of the good and bad hype of mass media and social media, although more now knows Bitcoin most of them are not yet invested nor interested.
In my office a few months ago I can never talk with anyone who knows about crypto currency but now people in my workplace at lease have a little idea what crypto currency is. I hope that this will change in the future.
Besides november and december 2017, I never saw strangers talking about bitcoin and altcoins. Now everybody knows and they trade them actively on websites. It was totally spreaded out around the folks. |

Very welcome. In depth research is key before making any jumps. Correct. if you are planning better to have a lots of idea regarding to such things that you are willing to move forward, this thread will also give some hint and some factors why people will invest with certain project, hopefully more people who really knows how the industry works will able to share their prospect coins to invest with. Some people are spamming some coins on purpose. I see this very clearly. This is wrong and making people have wrong decissions about them. Users should act more fair and they need to tell something real. My favourites are ethereum, monero, litecoin and digibyte. |

I only invest in Ark and just a little bit on LISK so it does not count as investment. I think LISK roadmap is very good and the team is great, but I prefer Ark because I joined them in the ICO phase and I support it until today. Ark has a smaller market than Lisk, so he still has plenty of room to grow and the Ark team is very active on Slack.
I have small amounts of ark and lisk. I think both are nice to have in my portfolio because I see the coins as a long distance investment. I don't panic, I hold and at the end they both will be valuable. |

I don't think bitcoin can eliminate bank because bitcoin is used through gadget and not all can afford yo buy one so that we can't eliminate money and bank
For me yes we can totally eliminate all the banks in this world but for me it will take many years before it will happen, i think bitcoin is need 40 years before the banks will eliminate in this world and i am sure that all people in this world is we will support the bitcoin. 40 years can really go much more longer and we cannot predict the future of bitcoins in that time. But if bitcoins exist till 40 years than the future with bitcoins will be something new like bitcoins will enter banks and also we can find bitcoin CSP in each city. Bitcoins then will be surely be adapted by the banks in 40 years. Future for bitcoins is dark and hope it goes well. Also in next 40 years, all the 21 million bitcoins will be mined which will than keep the price for bitcoins stable similar to other fiat currencies. With the current conditions and world order, it's not probable to eliminate banks from the earth. They're constantly exploiting people, but we can't do nothing about this. Maybe within 50 years, this can be possible. |

It really depends on all the information you have on that particular coin. If I think a massive sell of will happen, and that price is probably a good one, and I will sell it. If in a later time I think it will go up again, I will just buy the dip, and I'm making profit. If I think there is no reason for the price to go down, and it's the market doing it's normal cycles, then I will just hold it. For instance, bitcoin price is dropping a lot these days, and I sold a few at $14k, I am now waiting for an opportunity to buy them back again.
This is a good technique but it's hard to do this all the time. For instance, when you sold them at $14k, the price could have gone to $17k and you would have a big loss instead of a profit. |

Yeah, agree. I think so too, binance has good potential and will be a great exchange. Proven now a lot of people who join the binance, until the registration of new members was paused.
They can't handle the support tickets anymore. Binance is amazing, this is the reality, but I think they will turn into another Poloniex because I bet they don't have enough support agency now. They won't be able to meet the support tickets of the customers. |

In this situation when bitcoin decreases I choose to stay even there is a big possibility that bitcoin wil totally low the value. So the best thing to do for this is just hold for a while then wait for the price to huge again. All of us cant wait for the bitcoin to stabilized .
Bitcoin's price will never be stabilized because it's the nature of bitcoin. If the price is stabilized, then there is nothing left to attrac investors. I can't even think about such a case in bitcoin. |

why do you prefer short-term investments? I think long-term investment is more profitable. but it is your right and I can only advise you to do research on xlm. Long term is not for everyone, people are looking for fast and quick profits since they're sick of regular real life jobs. That's the summary of short term investments. |
