With a squad like Manchester City, I believe Nunez would definitely have scored much more then he did. Nevertheless, the next season would probably be better for the lad and in general for the club if they could maintain some sort of consistency in their performances. Liverpool started making more individual mistakes. Simple and avoidable mistakes that should not ever happen on that level, but when I watched Liverpool games they were also out of this craving for success that you usually could see in their faces. Sometimes even Klopp seemed to be puzzled about the mistakes that his players made. As if they were tired and drained. When they conceded a goal some years ago it almost meant nothing. Everyone knew that they will turn it around with every second that is left and so often they did it, but this has been a different Liverpool for some time now. I wish we get the old Liverpool back soon. Well a bad season needed to happen. This is a really high level and is impossible to stay on it for a few years. Only team that was able to play really good all this years was Man City. But i see Liverpool next season in top 3 and i think Klopp can make that happen. They showed this season they can play really good and really bad . I think next season will be much different then this one Liverpool is one the top clubs and it is their duty to be good, since they are one of the top clubs the up and coming ones are looking up to, they played well in the just concluded season, atleast, ending the session in the fifth position is not an easy feet, but yet they did it, though i can not hide the fact that I expected better from them, but then like you said, a bad season always happens in one way or the other, even to top clubs, because that is all that there is about sports, I bet everyone would agree with me that the game would become super boring if it becomes just one club winning in every season. A year ago, there was a magnificent championship race between him and Manchester City. Based on this, I was seeing Liverpool as a championship candidate this year, but I have to say that I was wrong. If that mean one thing is how important is the player for Barcelona. Gundogan helped a lot Manchester City to win titles and I believe he still can play good football in Barcelona. I think it was a very good transfer for Barcelona without a transfer fee. Ilkay was a player who won the UCL with Manchester City and was the team captain. I couldn't understand why Pep didn't want him in their plans. The contract could have been renewed but not renewed. Evaluating this, Barça made a great transfer. I think Pochettino is making too quick bold decision since he letting their good players to join other teams e.g. Kante, Kovacic, Koulibaly, Mendy and Havertz. Mount is the one player worth keeping and who would cause a lot of fuss if we let him leave, but if we can receive anything close to £70m, it's an excellent deal. Villarreal were also in this fight for a while but after starting a bad form they started to fall behind Real Sociedad. I really think Real Sociedad deserved this. Because they have been really impressive during the season. For some time they were even ahead of Atletico Madrid by a quite big point gap. Spanish clubs are more interested in competing in the UEFA Champions League next season, and they are making critical preparations for the competition since they do not want to endanger their chances of reaching the finals. Sevilla winning the European Cup and earning a position implies they're completely prepared to confront any club, but we must remember that this is a new season, with new form from other clubs. Real Madrid has remained the club capable of excelling in the most challenging races. We have so many good teams in La Liga that will pose significant threats to clubs in other leagues such as the Premier League, the Bundesliga, and Seria A.
