This is not an endorsement or anything, but I tested the exchange with a smaller amount and received the payment quite fast, all good, thanks.

Another deal done successfully, always a pleasure.

Made another deal with OP and what can I say other than "5 stars", thanks.

Haha, he is amusing with his ridiculous antics, but it was just a matter of time before the karma caught up with him. He probably already forgot about all the shilling he has done in 2017/18 and how much money naive people lost because they followed his lead when it comes to investing. Dude should rot in prison for few years to learn a lesson.

The thing is, if projects would be paying in stable coins, the actual rewards would be much smaller that those that would be made in their tokens. Very few projects would "sacrifice" 100 K of tether for this type of marketing services, its much easier to give out ERC-20 tokens that have been created for free.

Yes, bounty hunting is still good if you were able to join those defi projects that are successful now like the uniswap where most of the users that are joining was able to get reward to which equivalent to 3 eth. I guess this is the best so far together with the sushiswap and yearn.finance coins to which market price has been pump and it hits more than bitcoin market price per coin. I think it reach to 32K USD per YFI coin and that is huge compared to bitcoin. However, when it comes to marketcap volume there is now way that other altcoins could beat bitcoin for now because bitcoin had more than 50% of the total marketcap volume in the market together with other altcoins.
Well, none of the DeFi projects that you mentioned have held a bounty campaign, so not sure why even bring them up in this thread, but yea, some bounty campaigns that have been held this year have been very profitable, like the DIA one, also I have high hopes then it comes to the Radix one. So yes, it is still possible to make serious doe via bounty hunting.

If you look from the financial aspect, there is really no reason to play those games, its just virtual gambling, or am I just ignorant? It could be fun to try it out with some spare change, or maybe even try to sniff out some potential options to earn some rewards while indulging in it, not sure, I will read thru some of the more informative posts in this thread and get more familiar with this scene.

I agree with the concerns of other in this thread, but there is still a chance to score big when it comes to DeFi bounty campaigns. Just remember the DIA campaign, then the campaign of DEGO finance that is ending today, or the Radix one that will end this week and I am probably forgetting some more. So you just have to be very selective with them like always.

Well, the activity of the specific group/channel for sure does not guarantee the success of the project, but it is definitely one of the indicators of interest in a particular project, which is one of the big factors of its performance on the market. But then again, activity in those groups can be misleading as there is a torrent of bots out there or airdrop hunters that dont bring much of worth to the community.

Yesterday I was thinking about the scenario in which Corona did not happen, where would we be price wise right now without the current pandemic, would we breach the ATH already, or the price action would be similar even without Covid, aka DeFi balloon and then a big sell off. We will never know, but it definitely had a big impact on every financial market, including the crypto one.

Haha, what a thread. I was expecting that OP will reveal some overlooked "unicorn" that will dominate the market in the years to come, and then he mentions Monero . I mean, Monero is super useful, especially in the security/anonymity aspect, but it is already a well known player on the crypto market, so yea, the reveal was definitely very underwhelming.

Some solid tips in the first post, that is for sure. I tend to gravitate towards being especially careful when it comes to the "team" section on the websites. If they provide their real pictures, their LinkedIn profiles in which it is stated that they are indeed linked to the projects etc. If there are no red flags there, there is a much smaller change they will pull a blatant scam as that would maybe reflect on them in their personal life as well.
|
|
|
Haha, well, you did not provide a WP, not sure what is going on here. Just laying out basic token economics and some loose plans does not make a Whitepaper. This could maybe work in 2017 when people were throwing their money into everything, but not now, even if you plan to cash in the DeFi craze, you have to provide much more than this.

I am pretty sure that it was similar in 2016/2017, in the golden age of bounty hunting. Most of those projects are long gone, but the market back then was so irrational that even scams and shitty projects listed on exchanges at multiple x-es, so this created an illusion of "better times". But then again, it is probably true that less blatant scams existed back then and folks actually tried to accomplish something with their projects, now they just pull the rug without even trying.

I highly doubt that the DeFi hype is over, this deep price dive was pretty much inevitable as some DeFi price action was totally ludicrous and irrational, so I would say that this is a buying opportunity, an opportunity to bag HQ projects like Band at a major discount. That being said, I would stay away from obscure DeFi projects for now, they may not survive this current bloodbath.

The OPs post is a solid aggregator of quite credible sites, for sure. I tend to stick to my selected Telegram groups, one of them has been mentioned, CryptoDiffer. Others are IcoDrops, Top 7 ICO, ICO Analytics etc. Those are announcement channels that are announcing any upcoming promising sales, listings etc., all in all, very handy.

In these kind of situations I tend to ignore the price aspect of the market and avoid checking Delta app to save myself from any potential doom and gloom thoughts. Take a short break from crypto if you are a hodler, its for your own good, why torture yourself if you dont have to.
