We might see a drop at the double bottom of upper 200s, but will be a brief visit.
If we go to $275 I will go 100% fiat-to-Bitcoin. I doubt we get there though. You and me both, and probably a lot of others. So current price is the bottom  |

I can only see lazy if you are talking about the fact that he didn't count the subwaves to figure it out for himself, but how is it wrong?
Well if you can count a wave being 300%+ longer than the other waves, and ignoring the ones you don't like, ok. You can just invent whatever system you want, but don't call it Elliot Waves. Let's have some respect for methodology. This whole thread is just make-believe-draw-lines-everywhere bullshit. Too much scribbling noise. This needs to stop. Instead, as you can see on my pictures, which are back to back charts from the start of the bitcoin market until now, the Elliot Waves are pretty clear and respect the methodology. I don't even need to draw lines or numbers (small deviations for the 30$ and 15$ bubbles being ahead of schedule, and this summer's bubble being the most noise drowned one). What comes up next should be a higher level wave (2015-2017) at a higher price, with the same 4 small waves spaced apart by 8 months, and then a higher level wave at lower price and the cycle is complete. The Halfening is also scheduled in early 2016, which can correspond to the top "5" peak. Or maybe he is right and I am wrong, in which case using the correct methodology is useless for preparing for the future and we can stop posting on this thread. +1 |

Or... EW doesn't work ....
I've made more money with EW than anyone ever has with a 3d MACD  BTW, how is that working out for ya? It's looking pretty grim for your strategy, now :/ Just remember my post in your thread 3d MACD is nothing special it is an indicator which worked fine (see my posts where I sold 470+ on bfx). But EW... EW is promoted like rocket science, but in practice it doesnt work. |

This trendline has never been broken and i suspect it will be tested again (It's sitting right about $270 right now) Zoom out on Bitstamp 1W to see the trend  Check 1w MACD (bottom of your picture). It is almost green. Look at your graph what happent when it is green. Additional, look at 3d MA and 3d EMA - what happens when lines are crossing? UP we go. |

I took a loan today.
Either the price will go up before I can pay it off, which will make it a good deal. Or it will remain low by then, which means I can get more cheap coins before the price eventually goes up again. Either way, it's a win.

Smart decision. I sold some stocks two years ago and bought bitcoins. Unfortunatelly those stocks went up 23% between then and now  |
