Ethereum it's a good investment on the long term, the thing is that now it's not a good moment to buy. If you want quick money you shouldn't invest on ETH...

Buy btc people, you'll regret it if you don't do it now! buy buy buy!

You may regret that, who knows if bigcoin's price decreases significantly. In economy, speculation it's very important. I wouldn't invest ALL of my money into Altcoins, maybe 30% of it, but still I wouldn't invest it all in one coin.

I believe in Altcoins. I really do. They've changed the way I live and I wish they grow even more. For that and many other reasons, I'm not selling

With $3000 to invest, is there any advantages to either, with the expectations/hopes that they both will continue to grow? Just trying to see what others would do, as I plan to let this initial investment sit for 5yrs minimum in a cold wallet.
Thanks ladies and gents!
I think you should invest in 1 BTC. Btc has a defined limits for the amount of coins that it can have. Eth don't. That makes eth illimited, and when there is more supply than demand, the price goes down. You don't see that happening with bitcoin because the supply is limited.

Will ETH also stop trading this JULY 31st to August 1 UTC in exchanger sites? and will USDT be affected in this BTC update?
Etherium is separate from bitcoin and will not be experiencing and fork as far as I know. The August 1 issue only affects bitcoin. The only affect could be a residual affect on price. People selling bitcoins could make all coins drop in price, or if people sell bitcoins and buy etherium, then the price of etherium could actually go up. I don't see the second thing happening soon. Even with the fork, bitcoin's still strong.

The question is simple... Why would someone reasonable enough buy this sh**coin? Many of them will be forgotten in the near future... 80% of them just exist because some1 havr decided to create a coin with no vision only for profit... Still, I have invested in some pumps & dumps and it didn't turn well... You can lose whole your investment very easily
Posted From bitcointalk.org Android App
Reason is simple: For the love of making a lot of money in short period. Basically, what 80% of people nowadays expects when buying altcoins hehe

Only few people are able to write smart contracts in Solidity.
I‘m diving into this topic and would like to ask my fellow Bitcointalk members, who is sailing the same boat?
I‘m learning Solidity because I’m in the process of converting to the role of a Blockchain Architect
Exciting technologies right before our eyes limited only by our imagination and faith
If you learn how to be a Blockchain Architect, and a good one, chances are you'll earn a lot of money . As you said, only few people are able to write smart contracts, and that means a lot of demand

Definitely not buying ETH back when it was 8$. And also selling 0.88 BTC back when it was 300$

Ethereum it's a reasonable investment, although now it's not a good momento to invest. If I were you I would invest in LTC

I put in about $100 into ETH yesterday and plan on putting another $100 in today. Last I checked, it was around $3 per ETH and now it's at $19 which is absolutely great.
How many of you have invested in ETH and how far do you think it will go in the next couple of years?
I invested back when it was 150$, totally worth it! I really hope it grows even more

>Can't share the source Smells fishy to me, I don't know about you guys. Although worth holding based on the current price of zcash

En ese libro se específica sobre como funciona una blockchain a nivel de programación? Porque si es así se hace más interesante la cosa...
