121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Xwin – CryptoBet betting platform based on blockchain on: January 27, 2018, 04:49:50 PM
Honestly, I do not even know what attracts me more to this project. The fact that the bets are related to the cryptocurrency, or fact that cryptocurrency is here and it is so good. I think that I became interested in bets only because of Xwin. As a result, it turned out that this is a fairly easy and profitable way of earning and it is cool so. how many people are in the same situation as I am?
Interesting opinion you have. I can't tell that I'm interested in cryptocurrencies only because of XWIN, but ICO projects themselves are good way to use and get incomes in cryptocurrencies.

I think the сryptocurrency is the main advantage of Xwin, so I interested in this project. Before that, I did not want to try betting.

So am I. I've found this project and started learning more about bets. Now I really can't imagine myself without it

Yes, that's what I'm talking about! As if I have been doing this my whole life, not for a couple of months. So far it's interesting to try my hand at third-party sites, but still much more interesting how it works with the new platform. I have never expected so much the end of ICO.

124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is still Ok to invest in Etherium on: January 25, 2018, 08:11:11 PM
Yes it is a good decision. Eth also a silver coin but Wait for some time eth price will reducing to 900$. Then you can buy or else buy now any another altcoins like ripple, sct, neo, or any famous coins keep it for a some months then sell it for profit.

I think everyone deserves it, Eth will not be $ 900 because I believe this year is a resurgence for Eth, so it's time to buy, do not wait until it goes down, because if you wait you will regret it. Going forward because Eth will increase next month.

when bitcoin begins to fall, then the Eth will grow to such a price.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: recent new ICOs, how to choose on: January 25, 2018, 08:09:52 PM
Just take a look at the current new ICOs and some of them seem to be quite attractive, some suggestion maybe which to choose?
Here is the basic info that I collected, please share ur oppinion!

- GoNetwork
Supply: 100,000,000 GOT
A secure decentralized virtual goods commerce platform leveraging the blockchain technology

- Experty.io
Supply: 100,000,000 EXY
Experty mission is to encourage the adoption of cryptocurrency on a global scale by creating an intuitive, easy to use application that is suitable for wide scale usage.

- GEMs
Supply: Unknown
Gems is a protocol for contracting workers to perform micro tasks

- DADI
Supply: 100,000,000
A new era of cloud computing services, powered by blockchain technology.

- ArcBlock
Supply: 186,000,000 ABT
The ArcBlock project was created to create the first Blockchain ecosystem in the world. Develop and develop decentralized applications (DApp) according to objectives.

I would choose Gonetwork and GEMs, because it solves specific problems, and the remaining projects are rather not specific. In the  future there will be a lot of virtual goods, also companies will need a lot of people who will perform various small tasks. For example it is a bounty campaign

bounty campaign can be good, but i think this tokens aren't competitiveness with others

Maybe it's easier to just embrace it? Play by the rules - get what you deserve. Cryptocurrencies are all about transparency and definitely don't have the rules that should, in any case, be bent or frowned upon.

Yes, everything is used to, but now it is changing. China isn't liberal country, which does not like change and something new. They are still communist, don't forget about this. Therefore, when everyone will be loyal to the cryptocurrencies it will take years.
I feel like communism has become more of an excuse to not make some of the more uncomfortable changes rather than legitimate ideology. It's more than apparent their ideology has inherited little from communism. At least it's what it looks like from the outside.

There is such a thing as mentality. They have a mentality utilitarian when very difficult have to change or have smth new. Therefore, no matter how it may seem, ideology has very much influenced many decisions, like this.

They are fighting with it more than other countries. I think they were just tired and decided to get it down, and just closing their market. Banning something is easier than searching the way to change it
But why they are fighting with it, what's wrong?

Too much money goes to the underground economy. A lot of people make money out of it. The problem is also in employment, but it's not much. I don't wanna tell all reason, so this is some of it http://fortune.com/2017/09/05/china-bitcoin-blockchain-ico-ban
By considering all ICOs illegal rather than differentiating ones that trade in unregistered securities from ones that act more like tokens to use certain decentralized apps, China is taking a heavy-handed approach. (In the United States, the SEC appears to be gearing up for a distinction between the two types.)

ICO also does not want to work in the US. For example, Xwin does not work at this territory? Therefore, no, the example with the US is not correct. Yes, China chose a very "heavy-handed" way, first forbidding the ICO, then the stock exchange, but it had a reason for it. There are countries that, on the contrary, treat this with smart direction, like Korea, which does not prohibit, but only seeks new approaches.

Naturally, although I don't quite understand why they decided to pull out if they had a sizable cryptofarming thing going for them. It's pretty obvious that conventional payment methods are becoming increasingly obsolete and with every second they waste, they'll have much more work to do in order to pick up the pace. In the end, it's their loss.

I'd use the word appropriately rather than correctly since there's going to be risk involved in using cryptocurrencies and no operation would be truly "correct". Although China is a big big market, it already showed how relevant it really is. There's never going to be one singular opinion on the cryptocurrency and I hope everyone is prepared for that, the flip side of that problem is no country can singlehandedly make decisions for everyone else.

The problem with China is not only that this market is a "big". Yes, many people use cryptocurrencies here, but more problem is that crypto farms are located. Another one that there create special equipment for bitcoin and other currencies mining (not just graphics cards). That's why exit China's shook the market. If, for example, Australia or Canada does the same market will not change that much.

At one point in time, we all went from gold and other precious materials to IOU's. It probably seemed like a bad idea to some and the other would reap all the benefits of maintaining a new system. It's important not to make former's mistakes.

it will take several years as we learn how to react correctly to cryptomarket, because it is a completely different kind of market. I think everything will not be so smooth. But we survived the fuck up with China, so other problems will not break us.

Whatever the stupid whatnots politicians may come up with will only mean that there's still vacuum that needs to be filled. By that I mean one state needs to be forthcoming and step up in order to present a great case for why cryptocurrencies are great and basically be the head of that idea, everyone else will get on board as the time goes.

I think everything will be like that someone will make a statement, and the rest either will go against, or vice versa will see the benefits. After all, there are countries that are fairly well treated with cryptocurrencies. But they do not play such a big role at the market, alas.

Of course, it's understandable why they took a defensive stance regarding the cryptocurrencies. Although, I feel that relaxing some of the more absurd regulations will make much less trouble as opposed to what they're currently portraying. Thoughts?

I repeat that this what should be expected. In any case, during the next five years the market will be shaken by many stupid and not decisions of some states. We can only monitor their decisions. For example, we hope that China will change its decision, and countries such as the US will be more loyal.

I see what you mean. But aren't they trying to take away the most valued thing cryptocurrencies can offer by doing so?

This is a good point of view. Yes, in fact, but I understand them in this regard. And this was to be expected. On the one hand, it's difficult, on the other hand, it's possible, but not perfect. In addition, they can try to do this, but will they succeed? Let's see. It is just a business

I thought that South Korea has banned all of the ICO projects by law.
Nope. I've seen such articles, but it's not true. They just decided to tax the exchanges and all of that.
That sounds like truth, as government will have profit from ICO's. Hope that such situation won't happen in my country.

Not only from ICO's. From cryptocurrency at all, from exchange, like from other bussines in country. That is not very bad situation as for me. Bad it is in Chine (very very bad!) for all of the market. That what happened in SK it is ok.

From what I've heard, South Korea and Japan have a sceptical attitude towards cryptocurrencies.

Not exactly. They are absolutely loyal to it, but they try to regulate and find in it a profit for the treasury. I think in the future, the same will be in many countries.
