Also interested. Good luck

My first thought reading this is "Awesome ! More competition entering Bitcoin space".

My second thought is "Come on, rest of the world ! Why is Shenzhen seemingly the only place that has it's act together (relatively speaking) ? It's starting to be embarrassing !"

*mumbles something about wanting to buy American and how that's worked out for him so far*

Cheap labor, massive workforce, and infrastructure that's already present.

Paypal 45 day buyer protection ends on August 2nd.

Hopefully Terrahash receives Avalon chips in mid July, but based on Avalon's track record, the chips will likely be late leaving Terrahash buyers in limbo.

Terrahash promised to ship boards within two weeks of receiving Avalon chips, so the clock really doesn't start ticking and they haven't broken any promises unless they don't ship within two weeks of receiving the chips.
The clock is ticking.... for sure...

^ So whats everyones cut off date when you start requesting refunds? Personally i was going to wait until around the middle of July if we didn't hear anything, plenty of time before the 45 days paypal buyer protection ends.

I'm going to wait and see how things play out in July, and request a refund towards the end of July if I don't like where things stand. I'd be ecstatic if Terrahash can deliver in July, happy if they deliver in August, and very disappointed if they deliver in September.

The other thing to consider is the fact that the price of BTC keeps falling. If BTC falls to ~$50, I'll probably just request a refund and buy BTC directly.

agreed...

Losing confidence, there is no reason at all for no update. In fact, what exactly are they busy working on in which they cannot provide an update??? One step away from cancelling.

Then cancel.  The whining is weak and annoying.

The boards will eventually work. Good news.

I wonder what Terrahash is doing with their tests... They had that board mounted with chips and goodies really early in the game, wondering if they at least got it working..

All 5 units are hashing away happily, hovering right at 300GH/s for the set.

They're definitely noisy, but built so much better than the FPGAs, I had to take those things apart, flip fans, replace fans, add fans, this has really good air flow, plus the flow having an intake and exit on the polar ends really helps not recirculating hot air.
