where can UNO still be mined reliably? It doesn't seem that zpool has proper support anymore, I can't find any reference to UNO on there. Not sure about multipool.us either...

If we're already synced with the new 14.2.1 wallet, can we just go back to the 11.3.2 wallet and reindex the blockchain or will we lose the funds??
Your funds should be safe as long as you roll back and re-index. At least they were with me. thanks! will do that.

After all this time I wasn't thinking someone would still bother to keep the blockchain rolling
glad to hear it's working...I agree would be nice for a COMM revival. Still think it would be good idea to reduce supply by burning the 70million that bumbacoin received from the Cryptsy wallet. Please note that in order for the blockchain to move along, you need to stake since this coin is fully PoS. I believe it's only an 8hr minimum maturity period for coins to be available for staking again so you can keep the wallet open and collect your stakes and help the blockchain move along.

....this is my first time creating a bootstrap.
It's working, I was able to synchronize my wallet. After all this time I wasn't thinking someone would still bother to keep the blockchain rolling. Thanks for the effort, it was a potentially good coin like Faircoin, maybe who knows someone will give it a new lease of life. Block is now 1167165 glad to hear it's working...I agree would be nice for a COMM revival. heh is comm worth reviving ?? i gots de Cryptsy wallet (thanks MicroGuy ) on a cursory inspection it has ~70million coins and putting staking=0 in yr conf doesnt work i'm just going to do a full sync from scratch for competleness a full sync leads to difficulties :p ie a non-responding wallet, and i haven't had the leisure to address the issue usefully as yet. so nothing further to report yet. I am in the process of creating a bootstrap that is synced fully to the latest block that I've staked as of a half hour ago. Any thoughts of burning the coins and greatly reducing the supply? Might make COMM more attractive as an investment especially if the max coins is closer to that of BTC.

Isn't AES, AVX better than SSE2? My CPU shows support for AES and AVX, yet the algo being used is SSE2. I am running the cpuminer-aes-avx.exe so why is it using SSE2 algo? Thanks

Can someone please explain the staking schedule? Is it ~5% per year? After staking, how long until coins mature and can be staked again, 7 days?
Thanks!
Hi Wh1teKn1ght The current staking reward is 5.6% PA. To stake you need to have a reasonable "weight". Weight is determined by age (since deposit in your wallet or since last stake) AND by the amount of coins you have in each address. Each address stakes on its own weight - not the whole wallet at once with many addresses. So from my observations - if you have less than 50k coins (in an address) you would need to wait up to a month to have a good chance of getting some stakes. With 100-200k plus you need to wait a min of 2 weeks to get good staking. Staking monthly or every 2 months works very well. You don't need to stake all the time (although it does strengthen the network if you a an altruistic kind of guy). I just connect up every month or two and the stakes come thru like machine gun fire then slowly dwindle to zero over 6-12 hrs. Yes - theoretically you can stake after 7 days but it seems your weight is not high enough to ensure a timely stake. Depends also how many others are staking and what their weight is. You can check your weight against others at bottom right of wallet by hovering mouse over. If your "expected time to stake" (this seems to be an absolute min rather than "expected") is much over 10-20 mins then you will be waiting a long time (maybe a day) to get a stake unless you just get lucky. Cheers - usukan Thanks for the info usukan!

full sync working for me...I'm synced to block 1138744...not sure if this is the longest chain though since I can't find a block explorer but this is currently fully synced as of this date/time
seems that I'm the only one pushing the blockchain along by staking...currently block is now 1138776

How does FlutterShare work? I've had it enabled for almost a week and haven't received anything yet.
How much can one expect to receive (I'm assuming it's based on coins that are held in the wallet)?
Do you need to be actively staking or just have the wallet open?
Thanks!

I know that this coin is POS, but are there any mining pools that support payouts in IOC?

anyone know how often payouts occur on vrm.cpuminers.com? I haven't had a payout yet even though I've been mining there for 2 days 1000+h/s. There doesn't seem to be any account login on the website...
10 VRM autopayout. Thanks! Is there anyway to see how many VRM are currently in my account? I can seem to find those details on the site. Lookup your address in the Latest Paid Blocks section: http://vrm.cpuminers.com/pool/VRM/Thanks for that! Got my first payout from the pool today.
