I might be wrong but half of every new post created by newbies to full member ranks are for merit sake.  Everyone has the zeal to grow in ranks and many people perceived that creating new post attracts more merits. They cannot be far fetched from that because merits sources and some higher members merits these posts base on the efforts the writer puts into it (some could even be old posts rewritten). The main thing is to just have an ample of what you're writing about. Not some individuals sharing post they do not have an basic knowledge about.

So it's not entirely bad creating post for merit sake but make it something educative and a content from you not a plagiarized content.

I'm related to your post. I'm still a newbie and doesn't get any rewards or earnings here in this forum. But I'm still not giving up that's why I'll make sure myself to post more appropriate every time. Merits can help me to grow more here in this forum.

So far I have been here, I have come to see that posts get deleted because;
• it speaks out of context or doesn't hit on the point being referenced
• plagiarism is not allowed, and if one happens to do so without a reference to the original link or thread, such posts get deleted.
• also, if one gets to make posts on the wrong board, it could get deleted.
These among others make up for reasons why some posts get deleted.

Thank you for providing these possibilities on how the posts got deleted. We always make sure that every topic you choose to post should always a good quality content and appropriate in every topic you choose. This way, we can also help the forum to grow more effective and efficient especially for the cryptocurrency learners.

8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Bitcoin nodes? on: January 09, 2023, 09:34:29 PM
So basically, Bitcoin nodes are computers that run Bitcoin software and are connected to the Bitcoin network. Bitcoin nodes validate, broadcast, process and store BTC transactions. BTC transactions are batched and stored into groups called blocks. You can search more at the internet for more info about Bitcoin nodes. I hope it helps. https://www.cnbctv18.com/cryptocurrency/bitcoin-node-and-everything-you-need-to-know-about-running-it-14166132.htm
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How bitcoin has improved my life on: January 09, 2023, 08:45:41 AM
In the middle of 2015, I first learned about bitcoin. My first thought was basically, "It's a fraud!" and I ignores it. I clearly recall thinking that cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) was a Ponzi scheme in 2015 when a buddy first introduced it to me. So, one day when I was browsing YouTube, I came across a video that was clearly explaining the idea of Bitcoin and the Blockchain network. Wow, this is wonderful, I thought. I went online to obtain more resources to help me since I was intrigued and found the use of Bitcoin to be increasingly fascinating. Now that I know more about how it operates, I'm thinking about investing in it. I ponder getting a loan from the bank even though I don't have enough cash on hand, but I later decide that's not the wisest course of action, due to the danger involved in an uncertain situation. I went and told my uncle about Bitcoin. I informed him that this was a new method of generating income. He was first reluctant to invest in it, but I persisted and even made a pledge to accept responsibility for whatever transpired. Life is all about taking risks, he added, so I wasn't worried about losing it all. I simply wanted to give it a shot. He offered me a sizable sum of money to put in Bitcoin while the price was low, but when it skyrocketed, I thought about selling it out so we could profit greatly from it. I've been a millionaire since 2015, and my uncle is too.

Thank you for this! This makes me motivate more in this forum! I'm still a newbie and still don't have getting earnings here but I still do my best to get some money here. That's why I always make sure to post good quality content in this forum.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Private key from biometric data? on: January 09, 2023, 08:29:08 AM
I think there will be always only 1 private key for every biometrics data. Information encrypted using the private key can be decrypted only with the public key. Only the holder of the private key can encrypt information that can be decrypted with the public key.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All in the name of "we are sorry we got hacked" on: January 09, 2023, 01:35:11 AM
I noticed that new projects this day are not using bug bounty hunters to see how strong their security 🔐 is, it's not because they don't have the money, they raised millions and don't care..

It looks like getting hacked is a big excuse to rob people's money, they can easily blame it on hack and say 'we are sorry we get hacked' where as they pray for it or have it in mind to hacked themselves .

I read somewhere that some bugs bounty hunters find bug for few new projects that could have messed up the funds but the project team do not compensate them and ignore the bounty hunter. It's like saying ' who told you to find a bug?' .

It seems we need to take this seriously, any project that doesn't open door for legit hackers ( bug hunters ) to test-run their security or system and claim they are safuu are really not.

I think the investors should get their refunds at the main head of that website. What if they only say "they get hacked" but the truth is, they robbed it or something. You guys always take care of your investment in your very trusted deserve to invest.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what are the disadvantages of paper wallet on: January 09, 2023, 01:22:04 AM
Further, paper wallets are designed to store only a single currency. You can only have one private and public key to store one kind of cryptocurrency. Meaning, if you have many currencies other than Bitcoin, you need to have another paper wallets to store.

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Store your seed phrase offline on: January 08, 2023, 11:59:38 AM
Much better if you keep your seed phrase physically. What I mean is you can write down your seed phrase with a piece of paper and keep it in your trust case or something. Your seed phrase is much more important than your password so always keep in mind.
