5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Reindexing blocks on disk on: July 05, 2017, 10:51:15 PM
My bitcoin core is Reindexing blocks on disk, Problem is it's already took 2 days while 8 years to 4 years covered in 9 hours, Please also suggest me that how can i prevent bitcoin core to Reindexing blocks on disk, Thank You.
Scan your pc & mac for malware problems. Drivers can be also sometimes problem. If necessary update please. Hardware tools for example ram also causes issues. Power settings also cause instability and so crashed dbs. There are actually many things you can do.

To speed up close other processes or programs not necessary and let alone pc-mac handles bitcoin-qt. increase ram settings within the qt and give high priority for the bitcoin process. You can do this from Task Manager.

Generally to speak better to use SSD disks for faster processes.
Make a Disk Optimize and then start use bitcoin qt all will benefit for you. Stable PC-mac leads to lesser crashes.

7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: July 05, 2017, 08:29:10 PM
For now it's stuck at $2480-$2560 does two months ago ring any bells when price were in balance between $1080-$1180? it was like 2 years ago or seems like it, I bet in one month we'll hit $3500 and then talk about $5000 while $2500 will become yesterday's news.
I agree BTC will soon to reach 5k. It is waiting for some international news, main stream media make it again jump one or two times.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are best sources to learn trading on: July 05, 2017, 07:56:58 PM

9  Other / Meta / Re: Database error on: July 05, 2017, 07:42:08 PM
I noticed this problem, too. i think the time come to take hand the db management of the forum.
You can hire DB admins and use professional db solutions. So many people use the forum and stability is important. Sphinx http://sphinxsearch.com/ does great success on loads if you know it. And all db queries has to be optimized. I don't know how you cluster but  amazon has great clustering services too but you need to able to manage it nicely.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: July 04, 2017, 08:02:09 PM
Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin
Altcoins creates support to Bitcoin different options is good for the totality of the market. We can see in the future altcoins earns extra abilities to Bitcoin in vice versa.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Exchange for day trade? on: July 04, 2017, 07:03:42 PM
What's cracking Crypto friends Grin

Recently I started to trade every day a little. I do this on Livecoin.
The thing is I don't know if I also lose on fee charges when the differance beteen buying and selling is little.

On LiveCoin you always pay 0.18% (It was 0.2) fee on trade (buy or sell).

This burns your little profits. I'm not sure but sometimes I think I lose more than I gain because of this d@mn commission.

So I was wondering:

- What's the best exchange to trade dailly?

- On what exchange do you guys trade and why?

- How to prevent the fee charges burning your profit when the difference is small between buying and selling?

Thanks. Grin
i can suggest these 3

www.bittrex.com easy
www.cex.io credit card accepted

13  Economy / Trading Discussion / What are best sources to learn trading on: July 04, 2017, 10:07:23 AM

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to invest in? on: July 03, 2017, 06:05:57 AM
There are some free airdrops in the alt forums follow them you may benefit without spending much.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What percentage of traders profit? on: July 02, 2017, 03:55:18 PM
Like many businesses there are many trader types and to be trader one must know how to win in one way or another. Even 1 percent daily revenue can make man trader. I suspect the bigger the trader gets he makes smaller percentage per day. you can not win much if there is not enough volume of buyers, if you know what you're doing and paying the bills you are a trader.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Are Your Thoughts On Vegans? Or Going Vegan ? on: July 02, 2017, 03:31:08 PM
One should not change eating habits so fast. It creates mayhem in the body. Better to do it following a slow path.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Holding On To Your Bitcoin? on: July 01, 2017, 05:05:16 PM
I would assume that all of us here are 100% sure that Bitcoin is rising in value and the recent correction many days ago is just a temporary setback and in fact Bitcoin is now again rising in price albeit a more timid way.

With this scenario in mind, majority of Bitcoin holders are not spending their Bitcoin but holding them just like a precious gold somewhere in the cyberspace.  The mantra seems to be HOLD HOLD HODL HODL and I am seeing it everywhere in Facebook, forums, group chats and even in cafeterias worldwide.

Together with the increasing demand coming from Japan, et. al., this in turn is helping  push the Bitcoin upwards and once the scaling problem can be solved by August we are expecting that Bitcoin can jumping with joy and a resurgence like we have never seen before.

Just hold them and never be tempted to sell or you would later on regret as if 50% of you died digitally.

Yes Bitcoin is far beyond to its correct position. With 2MB update scaling will be matter of past. Main problem small transactions when the fees increased will bring natural balance to that. I also hold on BTC till 2025 and keep it as a gift to my children.
