81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency prices dropped again on: October 21, 2018, 06:09:05 PM
a few days ago we have heard that USDT will be delisted in binance, and after the news spread, soon the BTC price rose quite high,
from that incident I began to believe that maybe this was a bull market sign,
but what happened today is the market is not green, but red.
how do you comment about that?

The market is barely red, 1-2-3% either way is of little significance and should just be ignored, look for movements of at least 5% to begin drawing any significance, we'll know if we're going bullish or bearish when there's the next 10% or more price movement. I suspect that won't be for a while but will be bullish.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some well-known Bounty managers “disappeared”? on: October 19, 2018, 01:19:32 PM
It's no great surprise, the number of good bounty campaigns has dried up and so there's not as much money for them to be made. When/If ICOs return to the highs of 2017 you can bet that the majority of them will be back to take advantage of that.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Tether (USDT) eventually collapse cryptocurrencies market? on: October 18, 2018, 01:27:00 PM
Tether will always be risky until it's proven that they have the USD funds to withstand a run on tether. As for if it would collapse the market I don't think it would be as catastrophic now that people are so aware of the dangers. It would be a bad time for cryptos though and I suspect we'd see around 30-50% wiped off the market value if it were to happen.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The energy that drives patience on: October 16, 2018, 01:44:48 PM
i think we need to start a serious study about how many people lost how much money because of what OP is telling them, that is "Patience".

in this pump and dump market the only thing that you should NOT have is patience. in other words in this altcoin market you need to be super fast and be capable of going in and out of the market at a moment's notice. because the market is not going to wait for you to wake up and make a lazy ass move. it moves fast and before you know it, you will be in a huge loss.

That sounds largely like the view of someone who's looking to trade with a short-term mentality, for those looking to invest for the longer term then patience and tranquility are of the utmost importance. You cannot freak out and panic sell at every slight price deviation.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you end up with shit coins? on: October 16, 2018, 01:42:13 PM
I've only ever once been stuck bag holding a 'shitcoin' and that was when trying to do a short term trade and the market then moved, normally I would have stop-lossed but bittrex crashed and I was unable to do so at my set price, the price then went much lower and I never felt it worthwhile to sell because there was far more potential upside than downside. Other than that my only shitcoins have been from campaigns or airdrops etc.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETh will hit $1000 end of this year on: October 15, 2018, 10:36:46 PM
End of 2018 Eth will be back over $1000 and bitcoin will be over $15000

I actually think this is a reachable target for the end of this year.  It only took a couple of months for btc to skyrocket to 20k last year.  I know some people think this bear market will last multiple years but this time is different.  Cryptocurrency is much more mainstream and their are more retail investors accumulating coins for cheap prices.  I firmly believe we will see a bull run by the end of 2018.

But the market is completely different to then as it had already been bullish for several months, even if the bullrun started tomorrow the market would not be bullish enough for the price to move to 1k in just 2-3 months.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening to ETH? on: October 12, 2018, 09:06:39 PM
Whats is happening to the market right now?

ETH is dropping as hell. 10% yesterday.

BTC still on the same!

Does anyone knows WHY?

Bitcoin fell around 3-4% and as always altcoins perform worse, ETH was not alone in this, most of the top 100 coins had losses in double figure percentages or close to it. I don't think there's anything particular behind it just normal market movements.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn crypto for working out and store 'em on a fitness bracelet on: October 11, 2018, 09:40:35 PM
Why would you want to carry your hardware wallet with you at all times? That seems rather counter-intuitive from a security point of view.

How do they generate funds in order to support the payment of gym tokens, or alternatively how is the value of gym tokens driven?
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's the sole aim of bounty hunter on: October 08, 2018, 07:35:22 PM
Is it to engage in new campaigns  and advertise for them and the next thing vooom....you are out in search of another campaign or is there something else which I don't know about

I think truth be told the primary aim of a bounty hunter is to generate profit, it's not the sole aim because sometimes a person may wish to support projects they believe in or even just the crypto market as a whole. I do think that anyone who has other claims is probably not being truthful.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance success on: October 06, 2018, 05:34:47 PM
I am using binance as a result of delays on Coinbase and other exchanges in getting verified. Is this the reason Binance is so successful?
What is actually the main reason?
It seems that Binance was founded in 2017 and by 2018 it became the most successful exchange. Coinbase was founded in 2012 and Kraken in 2011 yet they failed to achieve what Binance has achieved.
From a business point of view, what is the reason Binance achieved so much?

They have a secure exchange, low (comparably) fees, a well working and efficient exchange and little difficulties with load issues. A lot of people transitioned towards the end of 2017 when the bigger exchanges of that time such as bittrex were having lots of difficulties handling the increased load so there was a lot of down time and bugs etc.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The market of cryptocurrencies doesn't fall, is it growing steadily!? on: October 06, 2018, 05:32:44 PM
When taking a longterm view of things you can easily conclude that bitcoin is still very bullish. To predict a collapse from here would be brave and very much against the trend. I do believe that when we look back in a few years time this will be just another blip along the road to greater adoption and a higher price.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BER MONTHS, still legit? on: October 04, 2018, 06:42:30 PM
I don't think the market will turn just because the month endings change, I do think that the market is nearing a turn around but even then it won't be an immediate bullish trend, it will at best be a slightly bullish trend for a few months.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which 1 Gwei coins? on: October 04, 2018, 06:41:22 PM
I don't even know of any coins that are that cheap and if there are any they'll almost certainly never 100x. Coins aren't even measured in that, lowest I see them go is mEth.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make profit in the blood bath on: October 02, 2018, 02:29:01 PM
The most profitable thing to do in the current market is to accumulate bitcoin and strong alt-coins. When the market recovers (which it eventually will) you'll profit. All though you may make a loss in the short run the long run is where you should be looking.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies Need to Die for the Market to Live - What do you think ? on: October 01, 2018, 09:34:17 PM
I totally get what you are saying, and I agree with you. This is why I tell people not to worry so much about the market's current situation. I know people have to worry a little, but don't stress yourself completely. Whatever is happening now is for the good of the market. After this, will come a time when all the coins are aiming for the sky.

That's the opposite of what this is saying. This is saying that a lot of coins need to head towards a price of zero and I completely agree with it. There are too many coins and too many of them are completely useless. It's confusing for investors and for companies and users looking to adopt them.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange bounty stakes to ETHER (ETH) on: September 28, 2018, 03:11:49 PM
Is this any different to the people who offer to buy peoples stakes in advance for a certain amount of ETH, basically they're gambling on the coins hitting a certain price once they start trading out of ICO?
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS Blockchain on: September 27, 2018, 06:53:22 PM
The EOS blockchain is a relatively new system that is looking very promising at the moment. In today's article we will discover more about this marvellous Blockchain.

https://blog.amon.tech/eos-blockchain/
if i am not mistaken, some time ago i've came across some topic on this forum where there was a discussion about eos possible overtake of eth, and that they are really similar

They're very similar, in that they're both infrastructure projects that will operate smart contracts on their blockchain. EOS aims to do what ETH does just quicker and cheaper, that's really the only difference from a basic point of view.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP5 reasons why the price of ETH fell so much on: September 27, 2018, 06:50:03 PM
I think these reasons have nothing to do with the price, you just posted some guesses. ETH fell because of the bear market as all altcoins and it will recover as soon as the bull market starts.

There are some coins that have increased despite the bull market so that's not the way to look at it. ETH has performed much worse than some coins and that relative difference is worth examining and trying to understand.. It may recover in a bull market but again may be outperformed by others.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP5 reasons why the price of ETH fell so much on: September 25, 2018, 09:21:46 PM
I think you neglected to mention ICOs. They've been not as successful in the last year so ETH isn't used as often and there are also many ICOs from 2017 or before that need to sell their ETH in order to fund their development, these force down the price of ETH even further.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market unstable on: September 25, 2018, 09:20:30 PM
This few month , crypto market is unstable.
going up and coming down..

so what is your move right now ?
- keep it and trade or
- buy while is cheap or
- sell it ? Huh

I intend to buy it but scared will drop again. confuse
I do not see anything wrong with a way the market of cryptocurrencies is moving, to me everything looks very normal if you're scared of the movements that we are currently seeing I will urge you to reconsider your decision to invest or to trade in this market because it is obvious to me that you are not ready and that you are only going to lose your money.

I would even go as far as to say that right now the swings are very minimal and the market is very stable compared to most periods. If you cannot handle the current swings of a few % you'll never manage seeing huge amounts wiped out in minutes or hours.
