1  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS Lealana Coins BTC ICG Set Silver on: March 01, 2024, 11:02:22 PM
I have a question for you guys. I have a couple Lealanas that got not a great grading by PCGS like 5 or 6 years ago. Like MS68, I was thinking to pop em out of the case and just send them again to get graded, I was thinking to go with ICG because they historically for coins seem to grade higher than PCGS?

what do you guys think? Or is there criteria they follow that almost certainly if it was MS68, then its going to be MS68 again?

What agency did you use originally, ANACS yellow slabs?

ANACS yellows carry a collector premium.

Regrade to PCGS would be my personal preference for a regrade.

The original grading was done with PCGS, i'm just afraid if I send back to them it they would  regrade it and it would still be MS68, hahhaa. I had just heard in the past tthat ICG was possibly more liberal with their higher grades is why I was asking.

still not gonna peel mine, I'm sure most others agree.  No issues with non-2fa coins. Whoever chose to buy the 2fa's made a poor decision. he didn't keep keys and sweep funds. Maybe i'm so used to seeing scams in crypto that this doesn't seem like anything at all to me, hahaha.

I don't believe Tim is a scammer, I don't believe it was ever his intention to scam. But if you leave your funds in anyone else's hands, things can happen.

Current High Bids

Sorry, I am a little confused. I understand no public addresses available, So that means no COA comes with any of these, correct?

Is there an update of the latest bids on each coin Please?

Correct. From what I have been told, none of the BUYER FUNDED King K coins came with a COA

That is not true. I have a King Kam, and the COA is enormous. I will take a pic when i have the chance and post it. Pretty bummed I missed the bidding would have loved to have hoarded some more coins!!!

9  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Titan Mint Coins- Serious Issue- Titan Mint Bitcoin Coins ***NEW UPDATES*** on: July 17, 2023, 06:37:43 AM
Has Tim actually stolen any funds? Or are the 2FA coins just unable to redeem at the moment? have those coins left the original wallet?

I have been follwoing this thread forever and I just don't really feel like there is much danger and am keeping my coins as they are, still don't have any intention of selling them or redeeming them, but I do not have any 2FA coins, so maybe its easy to feel that way?

I just feel like this is a bit of FUD and it will pass, just like everything in Crypto. ETH is the worst crap out there and its at $1900, nobody could care less, hahahaha. Not to mention the 1000's of shitcoins which are absolutely worthless.

I presume with https://titanbtc.com/ being down there's no way for 2FA coin holders to sweep their balance?  Undecided
I havent logged in here for quite awhile. I see not much changed with Tim. I did try the link and its working so I figured I would try to redeem and like before says email sent to me to finish but nothing comes. The website shows fully funded 1 BTC but 0.00 I then put the full address in blockchain and shows it moved on 11/15/2022 with the balance at ZERO. I wish I could say it was me that moved it but not the case. Now Im pissed

I just checked others and same moved 11/15/2022

You are referring to 2FA coins, correct? They coins for only the 2fA coins were moved?
12  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Titan Mint Coins- Serious Issue- ***NEW UPDATES*** on: November 01, 2022, 03:25:09 PM
oof. I was kinda holding out hope that the general sentiment was that the PK versions were ok. Naive, I know.

Steeley

I'm sure there are plenty of people that are still ok with them. I don't feel like they are at any risk and won't be peeling mine, was never really planning on selling them. But unless there was some confirmed issue with the PK, only then would I really care. I know how scammy this space can be, but I don't think Tim ever intended to scam people. I just think he didn't think out clearly running the Titan website indefiniteily and being part of the 2fA process. But in all honestly, who were the dummies who thought buying a 2FA coin where you had to rely on someone else was a good idea?
13  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Eclipse - Lealana on: October 28, 2022, 07:19:04 AM
Ok, I was just wondering if I had missed something. It would be nice to have some digital on chain records though that couldn't be altered or deleted.
14  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Eclipse - Lealana on: October 27, 2022, 06:47:38 AM
Hey guys,

Sorry, i am not familiar with PGP chain of custody. Most of the coins I bought were from back in 2017, did we have this back then? Is it really a concern? The person I bought from I think is known by some OG's here. Should I be doing something to document ownership of these coins?

PCGS grading crypto.. since when?

Had my coins graded by them in 2018.

Funded crypto coins? You have any photos?

Hey, sorry. I didn't realize your reply was directed at me. What photos would u like to see?
16  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 2013 Lealana Bitcoin and Litecoin Sets (PCGS graded) on: April 06, 2022, 09:43:35 AM
I can't imagine there are a lot of lealanas that are MS70 I was thinking that contributed to the high premiums

I honestly wonder what the requirements are for a coin to make that grade. I have some coins I feel were not graded fairly by PCGS. One of them is a gold Titan. Its just a beautiful coin and they gave it an MS 67. As well as some other Lealana's I have I thought would be at least MS 69. I'm most likely eventually going to have them regraded, maybe by ICG, because I honestly fell like the guy who graded mine's wife yelled at him or something that day before he left to work, hahaha. Of course i know there are some criteria they follow, but at the end of the day it human judgement. I also have a very rare 1 centavo from the Philippines minted by the US Mint which may very well be the best specimen in existence. My father picked it up in the Philippines back in the 60's and its been in a coin slip till i had it graded. The person who graded it found it to be suspicious because of the toning!!! Like I did something to it to make it that way. Anyway. I'm sure plenty of us have similar grading stories.

Wow, congrats!! Can't believe the prices they went for. Actually, I can believe it, but I suppose being familiar with these coins and knowing the prices over the years its just amazing to see these finally capturing huge premiums. Its actually not that ridiculous when you compare it to something like baseball cards. The amount of money people are dropping on those things these days is just retarded, so many of those cards aren't even rare. I know Steve Aoki dropped like 10 million on sports cards. I think we're going to be seeing a lot of that, just super rich guys looking to diversify in anything.

Does Stacks Bowers remove the tax that needs to be paid before they send you your funds? Or is that all on you? Have to say i deeply regret ever selling of any coins in the past, physical and digital for that matter, hahaha.

Thanks for sharing the info with us and blazing some trails.

19  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 2013 Lealana Bitcoin and Litecoin Sets (PCGS graded) on: April 02, 2022, 05:38:20 AM
It was funded. But definitely not so rare a coin. Definitely not sets either.

That .1 Lealana on Stacks Bowers was a "Buyer funded" variant, I just saw that it was funded by the buyer. I guess that price would make a little more sense if there was actually some BTC on there. I researched it as much as I could when I initially heard about it, but I never saw any mention of it actually being funded, the description on the listing wasn't so clear. I can only imagine a funded, non "buyer-funded" variant would be much more desirable.
