281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOL (SOLANA) Token Discussions, Price Predictions & Speculation on: April 02, 2024, 12:53:04 PM
Solana have proven its worth for couple of months now and years of its existence but
to predict the price? not sure if i have some motive to do such because I only have small
amount of Solana now but looking forward to add more and more .
Solana tokens are one of the recent most performing coins because they have been seen on a fast rising track and those that have invested in them earlier before their launch are making a huge profit from such, we must not nevertheless fail in making the necessary research in those projects and the new ones they may as well b e introducing to the network and the crypto community.
actually not just recent because until now Solana is performing well
comparing to other crypto that we expect to run high.
282  Other / Off-topic / Re: Arent men in general more likely to take risks compared to women? on: April 02, 2024, 12:40:09 PM
World now have changed , yeah in the past were male is dominant and the women stays
in the house taking care of everything  but now? nope sometimes even females are more dominant
that male as some countries has a women presidents so I think in our time now specially in crypto
investing? maybe female is also risk taker though i only meet some few female that manage to
enters and deal with crypto.
283  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino vs. Stoc,Forex&Crypto Broker: Who's Really Playing You in the Money Game on: April 02, 2024, 12:18:55 PM
We may not have to compare all these together because some of them are not the same with each other, gambling most especially is a different form of getting entertained with fun and others are more about making an investment or business while the brokers are the intermediaries between brokers,

Gambling is the only thing on those options that we can gain enjoyment while trying ourluck
because in stocks and brokerage you must b completely serious in all aspects before gaining that
amount.

all we need to know is what constitutes whatever thing we are going in for, when we have the understanding, we will not be cheated and we are going to be at the top of having it's best satisfaction.
or in which we are enjoying and willing to take risk, because all of those are profiteering
but brokerage needs no capital but skills and knowledge .
284  Other / Off-topic / Re: Socials media and crypto feature on: April 02, 2024, 11:50:06 AM
Hi everyone,

Recently, rumors emerged that one of the largest social media is about to introduce the crypto feature as a means of payment and sending gifts, and I am talking here about TikTok.
wow , is this really happening ? in the future?  i hope so but sadly it is tiktok for US?

Quote
In theory, this is positive for both sides, whether TikTok or the crypto field, which will expand further, and if TikTok takes this step, I do not rule out that other social media will do the same.
exactly , crypto and tiktok will benefits here but most specially users.

If this happened,  in your opinion, what are the pros and cons of social media relying on crypto?
actually this is risky so much .imagine two of our most precious and private thing
in life will be in the verge of being prompted .
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: April 02, 2024, 11:37:58 AM
I'm confused and looking for answers

If you are lonely, can you have interest in gambling simply because of your loneliness?

you cannot just dig gambling on your own when you are lonely , there must be
someone that will lure you though in our time now? there are lots of advertising all
over the internet so we can turn into gambler by any chance.
It is true that loneliness and isolation might increase the risk of problem gambling. One argument is that when individuals are lonely, they may resort to gambling to fill a hole or feel more connected. However, it is crucial to understand that not everyone who is lonely develops a gambling addiction. And not everyone gambles because they are lonely. So, while loneliness may be a risk factor, it is not the sole one.
It's also crucial to recognize that gambling addiction is a multifaceted problem. It's more than just winning and losing money. Genetics, mental health, and environmental variables are all potential contributors to problem gambling.
many people when Pandemic strikes turn into gambler, maybe by desperation
to earn money and have something to relieve their feelings from what is happening
outside their doorsteps.

287  Other / Archival / Re: Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ? on: April 02, 2024, 11:27:44 AM
Yeah, there's always that possibility of a big drop, especially when prices have been shooting up like crazy. But trying to pinpoint when it'll happen is like playing a guessing game. It's like trying to catch a falling knife.
Even falling knife is manageable to catch or even as easy when we are talking about
expertise same as how experts in Bitcoin can give prediction , it may not that accurate
but at least closer to what will come to us .
and guessing game? well we must not call this a game but instead a challenge.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $26,000 to invest, any suggestions? on: April 02, 2024, 10:32:05 AM
If you have $26,000 then you will personally invest 50% in Bitcoin. And the rest of the money you can invest in Ethereum coins, BNB coins and more unique coins. But you must invest in Bitcoin for a long term, so that if it lasts for a few years, you will definitely get multiple benefits. The longer term Bitcoin investment is proven to be, the more profitable it is.
this question is hard to take part in this market now knowing how much each crypto
valued and the big capital we need to buy at least even small part, and another thing is
that 26k is just 1/3 of bitcoin now so if OP is risk taker then he might consider putting that
50% in cheap currencies like Solana and  some part in Dogecoin at least(adding memecoin
is not a bad idea of course)
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the lost BTC? on: April 02, 2024, 07:08:52 AM
I was reading about some cases of people who had many BTC at a time when it has low or no value at all, and didn't care about it, so they eventually lost their security phrases, or hard wallets and now it is lost probably forever.
there is a office mate of mine that have had this experience when he was being paid
of 10 bitcoin back in those days but he did not pay attention or give importance because
those days the value is just a couple of dollars, not until 2017 when he have heard in news
about the increasing value of bitcoin and yeah regret everything.

Quote
I've read that the amount that is considered lost can be up to 5 million BTC. That is about 1/4 of the total amount available.

Knowing that BTC has a limit, and we're getting there soon, isn't it possible to have some compensation for those lost BTC?

Something like adding more BTC in an equivalent amount for those lost BTC, or something similar.

Would it be positive for the currency or could bring some caos?

nope there are no chance of adding more btc in the circulation not unless Satoshi
will return and  have some act on this.
290  Other / Off-topic / Re: What if an employee of a betting company misuses company funds for gambling? on: April 02, 2024, 06:54:27 AM
It is a serious matter that will be seriously taken by the company. I won't be surprised if that employee will go to the office and will be lured by the company just to get arrested.

That will be the kind of setup that will happen if the betting company finds out that there's one employee that has became a culprit to the misusage of their funds.
and that employee seems to deserve such because he fails the trust of the
whole company to bring profit instead of losses.
Do you think a betting company or casino will understand and not arrest an employee who has access to company funds and then misuses it for gambling? If this employee claims that he is battling from gambling addiction, will he be considered for a lighter punishment? If you own such a casino or betting platform, what will you do to such an employee, understanding that addiction to gambling can make people make decisions that are unexpected.
I believe that I have come across this kind of issue back years and yeah the
company just noticed that the funds was being misused in long years after(but this
is not about casino employee but a regular company employee) but same faith that
he was brought into justice.
and If I were be the owner of the casino? I will not give consent to that attitude
because he will serve as an example to other employee to never use our funds to
gamble.
291  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can family members help a gambling addict? on: April 02, 2024, 05:50:58 AM
Many people are going through gambling addiction but they manage to keep it a secret from their families and loved ones. The only people that know about their gambling activities are their close friends. In the event that you are one of those close friend to a gambling addict, do you think it is right to tell their loved ones with the intention that they will be able to talk to him and help him overcome his addiction? Can the advice of loved ones even help? What is the most effective way of going about gambling addiction.
that is so stupid about their Close friend to not telling their family ? how they become a
closest friend if they are not concern about the addiction or the gambling activities of their
friends? if I am to decide ? no matter what He tells me I will surely let their family take charge
because this is not an ordinary problem , this is life changing .
Many people are going through gambling addiction but they manage to keep it a secret from their families and loved ones. Another aspect to remember is that gambling addiction is a complicated subject, and it is not always simple for the person suffering from it to identify that they have a problem. So, even if you tell your buddy about the issues you have, they may not be ready to hear them or acknowledge the situation. That may be very frustrating, and it's crucial to be patient and not take it individually if they're not ready to hear what you have to say. Even if your buddy admits they have a problem, it's still conceivable that they will relapse. Gambling addiction, like any other addiction, is typically accompanied by a lengthy and tough rehabilitation process.
we saying we are discussing of gambling addition and the what are they causes of gambling addition that is the major problem that we supposed to ask ourselves, problem of being addicted in gambling is because of lack of financial capacity of financial probability so when you have a finance I don't think that you will engage most of your time in gambling it is people who does not have much money that is being addicted in gambling because they are seeing gambling as a source of generating income to their family and that's why they are addicted in gambling.
this is not for us to answer but the family , what we need in this kind of time is
to tell them about our friends vices and let them act accordingly ,this is what concern means
to me .
292  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would you like toask a cryptocasino owner? [The Q&A is LIVE] on: April 02, 2024, 05:47:18 AM
"This conversation about the future of crypto payments is fascinating!  I've been hearing a lot about it lately, but  it's still a bit of a wild west for me. The idea of using crypto for everyday purchases seems like it could be a game-changer, but  I'm wondering if things are really ready for mainstream adoption yet.
Crypto is being accepted already in some part of the world and in some businesses and
others are even have their government agencies accepting crypto so this is already happening
though in limited area only.
game changer? it is already changing the world now and I believe that if we are going
to make this happen in our community then growth will follow .
its just that we need to take part of this.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my gambling life started. on: April 02, 2024, 05:10:45 AM
I was exposed to gambling at a very young cage considering that both my father and my grandfather were notorious gamblers via cockfighting.
lucky for me that I never fell into the same path as yours mate because my Uncle
and even my grandfa is also a cockfighting gambler where they kept talking about gambling
and their wins but never that i listen to theirs because my mom is telling me not to listen.

Quote
PICTURE OF OUR FIGHTER CHICKEN FARM:

wow I also remember the farm my family had back in the days , when i and my
father eating beaten chicken from derby  Grin

Good for you, mate. maybe because we have grown up with the situation of those who are older than us, so we no longer follow in their footsteps, I also come from a family of gamblers, on my mother's side specifically. I saw the hardships and situations of their lives since I was young, how they became rich and poor because of gambling and because of greed. I'm really lucky because I didn't inherit the addiction to gambling, many people used to say that I would grow old and be like my uncles but I imprinted in my mind that even if I learn to gamble, I will never let myself fall like what happened to my uncles. I can consider them as the reason why I try to manage my gambling habits well because being a gambler runs in my race.
Wow that is a great story mate so indeed that we choose to create our own path than following
those what we do believe is wrong and must not be followed , like ours? there are lots of people that battling
in the same situation as ours back in the days but with perseverance and dedication >? i believe that they will
act accordingly and will never suffer from the same path as their oldies does in the past.
294  Other / Off-topic / Re: Online games you play? on: April 01, 2024, 12:43:49 PM
I still play Clash of Clans now ( with my youngest Son lol) as this is our bonding at night before going to bed.
I am the Clan leader and he is my second man , as I want Him to develop a leader mindset and also wanted
him to be more obligated and observant aside from being tactical as the game seeks for better players.
And yes this game made us more on Buddy thing than a father and son in which what I wanted to develop.
I had played many online game  But my favourite game.....  Cheesy Grin
is what? can you name it?

does betonline.com send an sms when you sign up?
Do they keep your money if they find out you use vpn?
you can try signing up since there is no obligation to deposit about creating an account.

Not sure if the site restricted your country so i cannot comment on that but many casino does not
allow their players to use VPN because sometimes this has been used by cheater to abuse the system and the site.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling excites you ? on: April 01, 2024, 12:28:54 PM
Hi,

There are always things that we are passionate about doing, such as video games, football, basketball, and sports in general, meaning that everyone has something that excites them and makes them want to do.
Like others, I get very excited when I sit down, take my phone, and start my bets. This does not mean that I am addicted, but rather I find it more comfortable and I have more fun.

Does gambling excites you? What motivates you, winning or just the fun in it ?
Your question is not general instead this is purely for gamblers , excitement comes from the
feeling that you will gain or gather better things but in gambling? indeed the feeling is like yours that
you are excited to LOSE Angry Grin Grin as we knew that in gambling you only has maximum of 20% to win
and the 80% is for the gambling owner to take from you meaning I will never be excited to lose.
297  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: April 01, 2024, 12:03:35 PM
I hope they keep to it, most online casinos also wanted to be like freebitco but along the line they join other popular online casinos that ask for KYC, I have been using freebitco since many years ago and they have never asked me for KYC before, I am impressed, but what if freebitco become as big as Stake some day? Won't that bring attention?
Freebitco.in may not be as big as Stake but they are big enough to really ask for KYC but
they choose not to meaning that they are a bit better than those who continues to ask for KYC.

Quote
Online casinos can survive and still become successful under the radar without being  noticed, but when the attention gets bigger they might come looking for them, and they can be forced to go same route like big online casinos have done too.
Casino is the money making machine of government meaning they will keep asking
for portion of profit from casino owners in which the owners will take those funds from players.

Do any of you remember five months ago I started trading with just $100 and today I own $1130 and I respect Bitcoin a lot and it is slowly brightening my future and I have gained a lot of knowledge from Bitcoin in these five years and  With this I want to earn more money in my future and I want to say to all you all can buy bitcoin and hold it and you will have a very bright life in your future you are too bad my friend earned a lot of money in 5 months but today he lost a lot of money in 2 months  Because he got addicted to gambling and I buy and hold bitcoins and slowly trade to own $1130 today Bitcoin is really brightening my future.

We never get addicted to anything and try to do whatever we do with our talent then we will get success in no time.💪

What I wanna hear even from your first post last september is how or
what strategy are you doing here? I mean you keep telling story but sounds like
a Merit hunting thread , and you gain indeed in that first post but what in this now?
Your point is not that clear OP, did you buy bitcoin with $100 and traded it to make the $1000+ in profits? Where you holding the profits you got from the trading as you have been trading all this years ? How were you able to keep this coins and still get to trade? Your point is very confusing but to see how much you’ve made from last year to now is very interesting and one will like to make use of your method if it’s not all risky as yours to make some money. Trading is risky and nothing is not worth risking if it deserves it.
that is also what I am trying to ask because those 2 posts of him
only sounds like having something up.
299  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to 100k? on: April 01, 2024, 11:14:18 AM
Seems like the road to $100k is very rough indeed with how poorly the market price has been, some how it looks like we're never going to see $80k before the end of this month. Is getting to a week and we haven't seen anything positive like heading towards the $70k it was before dropping and we're expecting to see a new ATH anytime soon and that would happen when the price start going up, I think the market price might change in the next 3 days.
If you expect the price of Bitcoin to reach $80k later this month, it seems unlikely to happen. However, the potential for a price increase of up to $100k is still very possible because the halving has not yet started. I think the correction that is happening now is a normal thing to happen as a step towards an even higher increase. Therefore, I am still optimistic that the price of bitcoin has the potential to reach $100k this year.
80k this month ? Im afraid it will ever happen because the roller coaster ride of market is not
showing consistent flow for the market and the investors seems to be not going favoring this target
and also that 100k is surely to be reached but the problem is when will it happen and yes not this
2024, we must not abused what we have done breaking the ATH before halving and that is enough
for all of us to be thankful.

We are just over a week away from the end of March and over the past 5 days we have continuously had negative capital flows into the market from bitcoin ETFs reports. So, expecting bitcoin to reach 80k USD by the end of the month is quite a difficult task for bitcoin, I also think it will be very difficult to achieve that.
and now that we are in Halving month this is the moment of truth , more than
2 weeks before halving so lets see if who are ready to what will happen.

Quote
But the goal of 100 thousand USD this year is not too difficult a goal for bitcoin . I still believe we will hit $100k this year and there will be a sharp correction by the end of 2024 . Of course, that is just correction and not a sign of the end of the bull season because the bull season has not really come yet .
even if not taken this year but will surely in the beginning of 2025 we will cross
that 100k finally or even higher if given a better chance (if many of us will add more
from their investments/holding)

I'm always wondering how an addiction starts for everyone because I'm sure that we have different experiences with gambling that will contribute to an addiction. Frequently gambling is one of the most common reasons why a player gets addicted. So I'm thinking before you become involved in frequent gambling behaviour what is the sign that you notice that you are doing when you gamble?
never become the complete gambler so i am not to comment about that behavior
but for the others that I do believe in? they are constantly playing even when they are l
osing continuously.

Quote
Mine is I always check my wallet balance to check my current profit then place a small bet without any reason just to gamble and increase my profit. This makes me gamble frequently because of the greediness to earn more until I become hooked and worst is when I lose everything on a bad day.
that attitude ? meaning you know how much you value the money and the winning
that you are getting in each gambling sessions.
